Great for organizing and keeping up with people for your business.
The non profit I work for uses this software (I have been working there for over 5 years) to have one place to track and follow up with people that are interested in knowing more about what we do (that hopefully leads to working with us). Once you understand what features are there, it is very easy to use. I am on and off Nutshell all day, and have to teach other teammates how to use it sometimes. The automations make it easy to communicate with your network once a new person drops into your pipeline. That takes one thing off of my plate, but still leaves a personal touch with the person on the other side of the email/text. Setting reminders (aka activities or tasks) keeps me on task without having to backtrack to figure out what my next step is. You just keep moving forward! And customer support is nice because if I have a FAQ, then the chat bot can answer it. The bot starts off by saying if you want to talk with a real person then say that and we will get you connected, so there is no waiting and being frustrated with a robot.
If it wasn't for Nutshell, I would have to keep a separate document to keep tabs on hundreds of people at a time, continuously searching my email to see if the person responded or if I still hadn't responded yet, having a separate calendar just for reminders to follow up with people after a certain amount of time, etc. However, with Nutshell, that is for the most part automated and all in one place. It saves me hours in my work day. I can just start doing the task I am supposed to.
Simple, intuitive CRM that supports efficient sales and admissions workflows
Nutshell has been a very user-friendly and efficient CRM to work with. The platform makes it easy to manage leads, track conversations, and stay on top of follow-ups, which is critical in a fast-paced admissions and sales environment. I particularly appreciated how intuitive the interface is — it doesn’t require extensive training to get started, and most features are easy to navigate.
The pipeline view is clear and helps with visualising where prospects are in the sales journey, and the activity tracking makes it easier to stay accountable with calls, emails, and tasks. Overall, Nutshell supports productivity and keeps teams organised.
There is still room for improvement, especially around deeper reporting and more advanced automation options, but as a CRM for day-to-day sales and admissions work, it performs well and delivers real value
Lack of support
Lack of support, it is "built for retail, not a service company" and we are constantly having to do workarounds to perform the tasks we need to finish. The reporting has also been inaccurate without manual manipulation from an exported csv file

Came from Salesforce, and I'm never going back! This CRM is a fantastic value at its price. We were able to accomplish anything we have wanted without a single hiccup. The support staff is always coming from a solutions first upsell never mentality that is rare and greatly appreciated.

Still One of the Most Practical CRMs for Agencies
We’ve been using Nutshell CRM on and off for nearly a decade, and it continues to be a strong choice for marketing agencies.
It’s easy to use, far more affordable than platforms like HubSpot or Salesforce, and doesn’t overwhelm users with features they’ll never touch. The mobile app is especially impressive — logging notes and updating deals immediately after meetings is fast and intuitive.
Nutshell also does a great job with email and calendar integrations, which helps keep client communication organized without extra tools. For agencies working with small to mid-market clients, it’s a very solid CRM option.
Put simply
Put simply, Nutshell is the most robust CRM. It works flawlessly. We tried other CRMs before and none of them have what Nutshell has. The cherry on top is Nutshell's great technical team, which is also not found in other CRMs.

We receive Nutshell use as part of large agency agreement to a suite of various marketing platforms and tools. Excellent value for money. The fact that we can access landing page development, customer lead data, email development and management etc. quickly and easily within a great UX is awesome.

Our management company has been using Nutshell since February 2024. The goal was to understand the sources and values of our leads in a ordered way. Overall, this system does help into the goal.
Nutshell is a useful CRM
Nutshell does a good job of organizing and maintaining full records of interactions, conversations, emails, and notes with our customers. The relationship of Person to Company to Lead is useful. The communication tools for reaching out to customers directly from Nutshell are also very good. The commitment to an available REST API is essential for our use and something I really appreciate and respect about Nutshell.

We've used Nutshell for a few years now. I like it for the simplicity and ease of use. There are some functions that are a little limited (sometimes the way email automation works is too basic), but the pros outweigh the cons. It's also very affordable comparable to other big name CRMs.
