This week I got lucky and bought a Ferragamo belt in my size.

My experience with NYC Outlet Design was extremely disappointing and, above all, a complete waste of time.

I spent nearly two months communicating through WhatsApp with whoever was handling my purchase. Responses routinely took a day and a half or longer, turning what should have been a simple transaction into an unnecessarily long and frustrating process.

Initially, I was offered a deal for three pairs of shoes. When they prepared the invoice, however, they changed some of the models I had selected to different ones. I pointed out the mistake, and once again, I was left waiting for responses.

Later, I decided to add two more pairs, bringing the order to five pairs in total. Before moving forward, I specifically asked the salesperson to confirm availability. After approximately three days, I was told that all five pairs were available.

At that point, I asked for the payment link so I could complete the purchase.

Then, incredibly, I was told that the “manager” had decided not to honor the offer that had already been made to me.

And this is where I believe there is a much bigger issue than simply poor customer service.

In business, your word has value.

When a company gives a customer a price, confirms the products are available, continues negotiating based on that agreement, and allows the customer to invest weeks of their time based on that commitment, that company’s word should mean something.

A business relationship is built on trust, and trust begins with keeping your word.

If an employee makes an offer on behalf of a company and the customer accepts it, the appropriate response should not be to hide behind a “manager” later and simply decide that the offer no longer applies. If management has not authorized its employees to make certain offers, that is an internal management problem—not something the customer should have to pay for after investing weeks of time.

What made the situation even more disappointing was that this supposed manager never once called me, contacted me directly, or made any effort to explain the situation personally. For a purchase of five pairs of shoes, something that could reasonably have been completed within a day, I spent weeks dealing with delays only to ultimately be told “no.”

To make the experience even more surprising, I later found the same shoes on eBay at a better price through an outside seller, arriving in packaging bearing NYC Outlet Design’s logo.

So after spending all that time trying to purchase directly from NYC Outlet Design, I was able to find the same merchandise elsewhere for less.

My recommendation, based entirely on my experience, is simple: if you value your time and expect a business to stand behind its word, think very carefully before dealing with this company.

Slow responses are frustrating. Mistakes happen. Prices can change.

But giving someone your word, confirming an agreement and product availability, allowing them to spend weeks relying on that agreement, and then backing out at the last moment while blaming an unnamed “manager” is something entirely different.

In business, credibility is everything. Your word is part of your reputation. Once customers realize that your word carries no weight, neither does the trust they place in your company.

I ordered a pair of Ferragamo shoes with MSRP $1200 and got it for a whopping $450, easy website to use, very professional business, no need for saks and neiman marcus when you have this!!! For sure ordering from here in the future for all my designer needs!!!

I ordered a pair of shoes on June 9 and was initially told I would receive updates through WhatsApp. For several days, the order status only showed that a shipping label had been created, and my questions about the condition of the shoes went unanswered.

After following up multiple times, I was finally informed that the item was actually unavailable and that a new pair had been ordered for me. I failed to understand as how an unavailable shoe was shown to be shipped!!

This was a time-sensitive purchase, as it was planned to be taken overseas on June 18. The lack of communication created unnecessary stress and uncertainty. Customer service eventually responded and offered to check the arrival date and discuss expedited shipping or a refund, which I appreciate, but the overall experience could have been handled much better.

My main issue was not the inventory problem itself—it was the delay in communication and lack of updates.
And we still don’t know if they have it and can be shipped timely on June 17th. A real disappointment, indeed!

Product and delivery excellent. However, actual color and design cannot be accurately seen in website.

We ordered Ferragamo shoe from this website that was on clearance . They shipped a used shoe instead of brand new one.. I reached out to them on WhatsApp, email and on their website and there is no response from them. Still waiting. After a week they responded, issues a full refund, also gave a discount of $30 & free shipping for the replacement shoe.
