I thought i had experienced the worse at SAE, but this course (Lvl 7 Dip) was even worse. fulltime course is 8hrs ACTUAL direct learning weekly, which is made up of small exercises related to whatever paper you are doing. and some general chit chat and watching slides, and a 'tutorial', and then closer to assessment hand-in, nothing really, just some time for you to tidy up your presentation/essay etc. The guts of it - pick the relevant component you're interested in (ie email marketing), Use Hubspot and Sprout social and similar that provide assorted digital marketing certificates, youtube for more resources and your done. Now do that for the other components of DM that you're interested in. Level 7 is not going to be your entry to digital marketing, in fact, its being pulled at time of writing, so wait till level 6 is out if you still feel compelled to borrow lots of money and spend most of your time reading websites and watching youtube videos anyway. Apparently its quite different but there will be no transfer for current students, hopefully more relevant to getting in to the industry for anyone that still bothers with it.
I tried to downgrade to the level 5 for more relevant entry level skills but was declined, so I went part time so I could do other things. Good luck.

I completed the full-time Social Media Marketing Diploma with NZIE and landed a freelance job halfway into the course.

This was my next step straight after finishing high school. I knew social media was something worth investing in, since:
1. it can become a hybrid/remote work once I get that good
2. it's a growing industry that I believe will not be going away anytime soon.

This course is easily digestible for beginners. I thought social media was just about taking videos/photos, aimlessly posting them with a creative caption, hoping to get likes/comments/shares. But after taking this course, we took a deep dive on the basics; creating content strategically, knowing/creating a businesses' buyer persona, design principles that psychologically make your posts stand out, beginner friendly video editing classes using industry level apps, uncover AI tools that make your life so much easier and you get to do all this with super cool teachers who are passionate about their areas of expertise in Marketing!

I would recommend this to beginners who are wanting a solid knowledge base of what it takes to be a Social Media manager (bc unfortunately it goes beyond that just "posting pretty pics"). I did this Full time course alongside Part Time Work (25hrs/wk). It's doable only if you're serious about going into the Digital Marketing Space. And it helps if you have an eye for design/detail but you're definitely still welcome if you don't think you do. They helped me develop my design skills too!

I do not regret going with NZIE and I've also made some fantastic connections with the students and teachers too! They're such a cool bunch of skilled people who have YEARS of experience in their field. So, you'll be taught by industry experts in a simple and engaging way.

Now, I work as a social media manager and designer for a local sushi company! NZIE gave me the basics on how to sustain myself in this position and to thrive. I have successfully helped this sushi company get more than 150 followers on FB after creating a campaign plan with NZIE and posting 1 reel that is now at 6K views, 130 reactions, 50+ comments and 12 shares.

You'll learn so much, but only if you come to each class like a sponge, ready to learn as much as you can. NZIE has helped me out and I encourage you to highly consider them, if you're thinking about going into the D.Marketing space.

In my opinion NZIE are more focused on collecting fees than they are turning out confident and competent graduates. Having been in tertiary study twice before, I found their lack of student support starkly contrasted with my previous experiences at other institutions.

I felt this was a really difficult course imo, I didn't feel like I enjoyed it and recommend doing free digital marketing courses online. The staff are okay, the workload however was too much and harsh marking. The online study was not the greatest and I didn't end up finishing the final paper. I didn't understand it much and I felt like I wasted my time. The diploma is not worth the price and you do not get much benefits.

I completed the Social Media Audit course and loved it. Being video-based, I could complete the course at my own pace. The course level is perfect and easy to understand and implement personally.

I did this course last month and it was really insightful and full of useful information.

I felt a good connection with the tutor and I could understand what the course was teaching me.

Overall I really enjoyed it and it was worth doing!

I recently did the tik tok for business course as it’s become such a popular platform and I wanted to be able to use it for my business marketing. It’s a fantastic course which covers all the basics of tik tok and has some great tips which I’ll be using for my business. Matthew is an excellent teacher who is obviously very knowledgeable about social media marketing and explains everything very clearly. I would highly recommend this course for beginners and those looking to freshen up their social media marketing strategy.

I completed the course called "Create engaging content for Social Media" through NZIE and I found the course interesting and informative. I would recommend taking this course if you're a beginner to social media and need tips to create engaging content for your business. Steve (the instructor) explains a variety of easy to use tools that you can incorporate when designing your social media strategy.

I found the course well structured, covered a range of topics (video, images and copy writing) to help you increase your engagement metrics. I would have loved more of a deep dive into the data that I should be looking at and how to best 'pivot' when things aren't working.

I recently took part in a 'Creating Engaging Content for Social Media' course for NZIE.
I found the course very informative and engaging, the website was easy to navigate and the course tutors were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. I really enjoyed the course and I am looking forward to applying the skills I learnt in my new business.
