Nice little boots
Really well made, nice boots. Sizing came up a tad small but ok for summer as I won't be wearing thick socks. Great quality leather.

High-quality boots and a great company!
I bought some cowboy boots from Oak and Hyde a year ago and I absolutely love them! They are extremely well-made and they fit perfectly, they are very comfortable and the leather is extremely good quality. This company are amazing, my daughter loved my boots so much she wanted some, but I bought the wrong size, the country festival is in two days so I ordered the correct size on the next day delivery and called them to check their returns policy, I spoke to Charlotte who was great and said it really isn’t a problem. I can just return the size that she doesn’t want for a full refund. There are not many companies you can trust these days so it’s refreshing to deal with a company you can actually speak to. I recommend them 100%.

We are sorry to hear that you are disappointed with your purchase.
Barefoot footwear is intentionally designed with a thin, highly flexible outsole, allowing the wearer to feel more of the ground beneath their feet and move more naturally. This does mean that uneven surfaces and stones will feel more noticeable than they would in conventional footwear with a thicker, more cushioned sole.
We do our best to make this clear by identifying each barefoot style within the product title and description on our website, and detail tabs that outline the benefits of barefoot and how to transition into barefoot shoes.
However, we understand this type of footwear may not be suitable for you. Provided the shoes are in their original, unworn condition (with the original packaging etc.) and have not been worn outside, you are welcome to return them free of charge for a full refund.
We hope this helps explain the design and intended feel of the shoes.

Nice sandals apart from the buckle
No problems really arrived in good time. The only thing that I found was the buckle is a bit difficult to do up, but that just might be me. Other than that quite pleased with them.

Brilliant customer service
Sized down as advised online and the shoes were too small. Customer service was amazing, as soon as I purchased the second pair I was refunded the delivery charge.
Shoes are lovely, rubbed at the ankle initially but have now softened. Comfortable, smart shoes for work. Very happy.

You are completely right to be disappointed.
One broken buckle would have been frustrating enough, but for the replacement pair to fail in exactly the same way is simply not good enough, and we are genuinely sorry.
We want to be completely honest about what has happened. We have recently identified a production issue affecting a small batch of our Wisteria sandals. During manufacture, too much pressure was applied on the buckles when attaching the uppers to the outsoles which has unfortunately left a small number of them unreliable. Unfortunately, the affected pairs are mixed among the rest of our Wisteria stock and visually the buckles appear fine, so there is no reliable way for us to identify them before a problem occurs. Please accept our sincere apologies for this.
We have now addressed this with the factory so this issue will not occur again in the future, we have also ordered replacement buckles. Any customer whose Wisteria sandals suffer the same fault will be able to return them to us free of charge for a professional repair or full refund.
Owning a footwear brand means owning the problems as well as the successes, and we hold our hands up here. Since taking on Oak & Hyde, we have learned a great deal about the challenges involved in producing genuinely good quality footwear. This has been a difficult lesson, but our responsibility is to put it right, learn from it and make sure we come back with a proper solution rather than an excuse.
We completely understand your review Sian. We only hope our honesty and the steps we are taking will give us the chance to earn back your trust.

They are the most comfortable sandals I own. The fit is great and no slipping out of sandal. No rubbing they are like wearing slippers. Lovely soft leather. Delivery was fast.

Wonderful boots
Wonderful company to deal with. I had a problem with my boots, they were replaced by return. The boots themselves are so comfortable they did not really need breaking in, I’m really pleased with them 🤗

Great service
Easy to order, first pair didn't fit so ordered the next size and sent the original pair back - this was quick and easy and the refund arrived within a couple of days. Lovely sandals, great quality, nice designs - will definitely order in the future
