We are in LOVE with our Obasan. Not only is it safe for us to sleep on, it is also the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The customer service is the best I have ever experienced and dealing with John made the process enjoyable and easy. John is AMAZING!

Exceptional quality products and customer support. We couldn't be happier with Obasan. Every night when I get into bed I am so thankful for our Obasan mattress and pillows. Worth every penny! I have been an Obasan client for over 6 years. And, am slowly converting my entire family. Not only have the products exceeded my expectations but, the customer service is exceptional. I cannot express how pleased I have been with the three mattresses I own. And, knowing the health benefits to their components helps me sleep better at night.

Every night I go to bed and am so glad we settled on the Obasan mattress. It came highly recommended by friends, and we started off with a crib mattress for our baby. We then got a queen mattress, and found it to be great value for money (organic, natural, customizable for each sleeper, and made locally in Ottawa!) For a 25-year investment, nothing else on the market compares. Now we also have the single mattress and various pillows. Service was amazing (John D. is simply wonderful and very attentive to our needs). I’d never consider buying a mattress from another company.

How to inform people about this product? I can go on about how much my partner and I immediately loved it, and how we never, ever, get backspin any longer sleeping on it. But others have most probably told you the same story. Let me put it this way: I've had family and friends sleep on these mattresses, some of whom are what I call the worst sleepers in the world, who never can sleep in a strange bed, but who report on the next morning how refreshed they felt after a good night's sleep. What better praise can I give you, Obasan?

Thank you for amazing customer service John! We keep coming back to Obasan. The latest addition is a twin mattress. Let me tell you this mattress is magical! Everyone started sleeping better in our family. It is mostly due to the fact that the youngest, who the mattress was for, started sleeping so much longer in the mornings. She used to wake up anytime around 6 am. Now I have to wake her up at 7.30 in order not to be late to the daycare. And how much pleasure I experienced when we took the mattress out of the packaging, rolled it on a bed and it smelled like WOOL! Not chemicals, not plastic but just wool! It is the best smell the mattress can have. I love it! Thank you, Obasan, for making amazing mattresses! P.S. Besides mattresses, we also have rubber and wool pillows and love them as well.

The products and customer service at Obasan are top-notch. Each purchase experience I've had with them, whether it's for a pillow, comforter or mattress, has been exceptional. I highly recommend Obasan; their consultants go above and beyond. I look forward to my next purchase from them!

We've been very pleased with our Obasan mattresses! We felt they were worth the investment for safer sleep for our home. John is extremely helpful with any questions about what options are best.

I don't generally write reviews unless I am extremely satisfied, and with OBASAN it has definitely been the case. I have ordered a total of 4 beds (latex mattresses and foundations) from them. I also ordered several pillows (latex and latex, wool mix). I have always had trouble sleeping but find the OBASAN so comfortable that it makes it hard to resist! The customer service was amazing (thanks Darlie John) and the product is unmatched in the Industry. I did a lot of homework before purchasing and the products are definitely built to last and are worth the investment. We have had our king size mattress and topper for approximately 10 years and it still feels the same as the day we bought it. If you are contemplating a latex mattress, OBASAN will definitely not disappoint.

As a family we have purchased 4 mattresses total and cannot possibly be happier with them! We have had the pleasure of working with John for a few years now and cannot recommend him enough! All the staff there are beyond helpful and knowledgeable. Absolute best mattress!

Amazing company that produces very high quality, sustainable products that are good for you and good for the environment. We've had our mattress for several years and I'm still amazed at how luxuriously comfortable it is. I also have an Obasan pillow (shredded rubber), wool throw, sheets and mattress cover. All are fantastic - very high quality and have stood the test of time. The customer service at Obasan is also top-notch. I can't recommend them highly enough. Worth every penny!

My desire for healthy living began when my first child was born. I wanted to give him the best possible chance at a great life. At some point I read about all the toxins that go into a typical mattress and given how much time a baby spends in bed, I started researching healthy bedding options. We found Obasan and have now been with them for 12-years now, purchasing crib mattresses and bedding, and then as the kids got older, full size mattresses (and for my partner and I as well)! I have nothing but GREAT things to say about Obasan. Given how much time we spend in bed and how long the mattresses last (we still have ALL of our originals and have just added to the bunch), it's 100% worth it. Customer service also couldn't be better.

We love that Obasan is committed to organic ingredients. We bought an Acadia and Fundy mattress 4 years ago now and we're completely satisfied with their quality and comfort. When the need to buy another kids mattress came up recently, we automatically thought to buy another Obasan kids Fundy mattress. Their pillows are amazing too!

On top of the mattress and pillow quality, the customer service is wonderful, as well. I've had the pleasure of placing all 3 of my orders with John and have had a great experience every time.

I had a wonderful experience with obasan especially with their customer service. I was spoken to with care and direction on the bed that would suit me and my husband. We have been sleeping so much better and know we are sleeping safely. The mattress quality and the accessories I bought with it (mattress protector) are superb.
