As mentioned several times to you on our ad where you insisted on arguing continually about it, just because meta AI thinks we used AI in our ad doesn’t mean we did. I created it myself using old school Canva tools. Not AI. Artificial Intelligence is not infallible. It is known for making mistakes. In this case, it very much did. But you wouldn’t accept that answer and even after I told you that I would not keep debating with you, you kept going and frankly you were quite rude. I have a zero tolerance policy for rude people, especially when they insist on doubling down on making false allegations. So no, you were not blocked because we don’t take accountability, you were blocked because you refused to take accountability. You would not accept that you were wrong and wanted to keep arguing about it, which is a waste of both your time and mine. But hey, at least you got the last word in by leaving a 1 star review. That’s gotta make you feel good, right?
Fantastic footwear, impeccable service and funky vibes!
In buying 6 (yes, six) pairs of footwear from Offbeat Sweetie, my interactions with Shell (and Milo in Customer Service) have been so positive, I almost feel like part of the family. Although I'm accustomed to a "breaking-in" period, I've been comfortable in my OS boots and high-tops from the get-go. And wow! the compliments I've received every single time I wear them. I only have one problem; I'm going to need a bigger closet!!

That design is supposed to look crazy. It's the theme of the design.
For whatever it's worth, we do not intentionally use AI in any of our designs, however we have been tricked before. We have previously purchased the licence to artwork that the artist had claimed was original art which we later found out was AI, and in those cases we took down the designs. We are actively working through our extensive catalogue to look for other designs that may have been made with AI, and we are working towards replacing those designs with real art too.
We stand with real artists and do not endorse the use of generative AI.

Their shoes are made in CHINA
Their shoes are made in CHINA. And also they only allow for size exchange in a bigger size but NOT a WIDER size which is really stupid. Also if you want an exchange you have to pay postage and arrange your own courier which is a complete inconvenience and then wait weeks for another pair. DOESN'T MENTION ANYTHING ABOUT MADE IN CHINA ON YOUR "ABOUT" webpage. You can't say your proudly an Australian company if you outsource to China.

Sorry to read that you are disappointed by where our shoes are made, however we are very transparent about the fact that we use Chinese manufacturing. We mention it on every product page, the FAQ page, Our Values page, our shipping policy and we talk about it on our social media sometimes. Our About page mentions we are Australian because we are. Where we manufacture doesn't change that.
Unfortunately printed footwear manufacturing does not exist in Australia. It requires particular equipment and skills that happens to be an area of expertise of the Chinese. We are in very good company with using Chinese manufacturing though. We are joined by Nike, Tommy Hilfiger, Guess, Lacoste, Puma, Sketchers, Vans, Billabong, Quicksilver, DC, Converse, Hush Puppies, Diana Ferrari and Clarks, just to name a few. My point is, Chinese manufacturing does not imply anything about the quality of a shoe. That said, you do not have to return your shoes to China if you would like an exchange (which you stated in your original review before editing it). Returns are sent to us here in Australia.
Regarding your other point, I believe you are talking about our size replacement offer, which is a separate offer in addition to our standard exchange policy. I want to be clear that we do offer standard exchanges and refunds for any of our shoes. Customers are more than welcome to return their shoes to us and exchange for any pair of ANY style of the same value (including from standard to wide), or obtain a refund and re-order another pair if the cost is different. We do ask that customers cover the shipping to return their shoes because we are a small family business and do not have the resources to cover return shipping for customers, however when a customer wants an exchange we do pay to ship the new pair (so it is like going halves with the customer for the postage costs associated with an exchange - they pay one way and we pay the other). Requiring customers to be responsible for size-related returns is a pretty standard policy across many brands. It's really only the big brands that are able to cover all costs for returns and exchanges, and bear in mind they have spares already sitting in a warehouse, whereas we have to pay our manufacturers to make brand new pairs for every exchange because our products are made on demand. Put simply, if we took on the postage costs of every customer that wanted to return or exchange shoes, we would quickly go out of business.
That said, we do try to minimise the risk of customers having to return shoes by offering a one-time size replacement (as opposed to an exchange/return), which I believe is what you were referring to. This offer is designed to help with situations like slight size variations between different brands causing a customer to get a size that feels slightly off. It can be used within 2 sizes of the size ordered, and only for the exact same shoe type. Customers utilising this offer don't need to return the wrong-sized shoes, they just need to pay a postage fee for the replacement pair we send out, and the customer can do whatever they want with the original wrong-sized shoes.
We have an agreement with our manufacturers that makes it possible for us to offer this, but they consider the wide-fit range to be a different shoe type because they make them slightly differently, so they will not allow us to offer a replacement from standard shoes to wide shoes. Is it annoying? Absolutely. I agree with you on that. But there has to be some limits for it to be a sustainable offer. However these policies are very clearly stated on the website, and we have width and length measurements included in our size charts to help people choose the right size.
In any case, I'm sorry that you are disappointed with the location of our manufacturers and our policies. If you would like to return your shoes to us here in Australia, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us.

LOVED THEM!
I was hesitant at first to buy via a social media site but am so glad I did. The liw tops were such good quality and very well made. The size was perfect. I wore my Books pair to school (primary school teacher) and the children loved them. My Water lilies had a great wearing in at a recent Harry Styles concert; they were really comfortable. My 5-year-old grandson enjoyed the stickers; an excellent little touch 😊.
I am now having to fight myself to not buy more pairs, though, I do feel the boots calling!

Excellent Customer Service
Sometimes it’s the way a company handles things when they go wrong that counts, rather than when everything goes right from the start.
I ordered a pair of sneakers which came with a “buy one get one free”. Both pairs arrived promptly and well packaged. The sneakers themselves were good quality, but the pattern design was very faint and didn’t look like the photos on the website. After an exchange of emails and photos, Offbeat offered me a refund, or the option of ordering another design. I opted for the refund as I plan to buy some fabric pens and other craft items to improve the design on the pairs I have.
All communications were prompt, polite, helpful and apologetic and I would not hesitate to recommend Offbeat. I think I was just unlucky with the particular design I chose.
I have knocked one star off because of the original problem but I can’t fault the customer service in putting it right.

Cannot recommend Offbeat Sweetie highly enough!
I cannot recommend Offbeat Sweetie highly enough! Their range of patterns and shoe styles (not to mention bag styles), is amazing. They're so vibrant, fun and exciting! I LOVE that they only create items when they're ordered, so there's no waste going to landfill if certain items don't sell. So far, I have low-tops and a couple of bags, and I'm awaiting an order of their chunky sneakers. I find the low-tops really comfortable, and I often really struggle with comfort in shoes. The cross-body bag is spacious, though it could do with perhaps another compartment or two inside - but you can fit loads in it. Likewise, the backpack is brilliant - with a stay-open top zip and a light-coloured interior, both of which makes it easy to find things. There's plenty of pockets so you can keep organised, and again you can fit loads in. I don't know if the "Buy One Pair, Get One Pair Free" offer is a permanent deal, but it really does make these shoes affordable and excellent value for money - plus they have an amazing offer if you don't get the fit right first time! I've also had to deal with their customer service team, due to my own stupid mistake, and Milo was absolutely outstanding - helpful, informative, quick responses, friendly, and did their utmost to help resolve my issue, even though it was completely my own fault. Highly, highly recommend this brand!

The colours and designs are amazing
The colours and designs are amazing. The BGOF offer is great but realistically the trainers are only worth half the price so two pairs for £65 is about right. I wouldn't have wanted to pay £65 for one pair.
I hope they wear well but I've only just received them so that's unknown.

Beautiful shoes and excellent customer service
Bought two pairs of beautiful shoes. The shipping process was fast, even though the shoes had to be shipped all the way to Denmark. They arrived in a bag with a bunch of pretty stickers etc. Unfortunately, the shoes were a bit too small. The company is now sending me new pairs one size up, entirely free of charge (I'm only paying for shipping) with no need to return the original two pairs - which I'll be donating instead. The customer service employee, Milo, has been incredibly helpful, and has responded quickly to every mail.

Sorry about the ink smell. This is because our shoes are made on demand and sent out as quickly as we can. We don't have shoes sitting around airing out in warehouses like other shoes brands, unfortunately, so sometimes that new shoe smell is still there when they get to our customers. But it is not harmful and the smell goes away fairly quickly. The shoes are fine to get wet with normal use (I wouldn't leave them sitting in puddles for long periods though!), so please don't worry about that.

I LOVE mine I ordered 4 pairs in different patterns and because I have a bit of a wider foot I ordered 39 instead of my standard 38. I found the 39 were too big so I contacted them and Offbeat Sweetie REPLACED all 4 pairs for FREE I just had to pay the $25 postage fee. Now I know I can order my standard 38 I will be purchasing moooorreeee! They are custom made so they take a while to arrive understandably but we’ll worth the wait. I have worn them for the first time today whilst travelling through airports and trains etc and I have received so many compliments and they are really comfy 👍👍👍👍 the only feedback I could say is I’d love to see a collaboration with Kasey Rainbow !!! I’d buy every damn design !

Love my Offbeats. I have over 30 pairs of boots and chunky sneakers, several backpacks, a tote bag and a lunch box! I particularly LOVE my boots, practically living in them- they are like walking on air from the moment you put them on…no breaking in required.
Quality of ALL products is absolutely amazing and their customer service is fab! Pretty quick manufacturing turnaround to Australia too.

I was hesitant at first to buy online, I'm not an online shopper. their BOGO and some research into the company made me place an order. boots arrived within 3 weeks. Boots fit perfect. comfy and warm in the snow. Will I buy more, YES and not just boots, a purse or 2 to match boots and some summer type footwear.
