Your associates did a great job, they tried to help. However, it took 3 calls before someone found the 8 digit claim number that began with a zero. ( which was not included on any of my papers). Then the link didn't recognize the claim number, to much work for the quickest track.I had to scan and email
It would be nice to talk to a state-side representative

2 men came out and did a great job. It was nice not having to pay $800.00 to get the sewer running freely. They were friendly and courteous and new exactly what to do.

Excellent service! Our main drain was clogged and we also had a clogged pipe where the washer drains. Both were cleared and are working much better. Very happy with the results, thanks Oncourse!

Cancelling a warranty service contract is almost impossible. Using the phone number provided for cancellations leads nowhere. You must search for another number. After spending almost 2 hours on the phone after trying to cancel, I was offered 2 different plans. My own plan was tripling in cost. The first call resulted in an offer for a modest increase without disclosing the maximum benefit to repair home plumbing, sewer, and water lines would be a payment of no more than $2,000 per Par. 6 under exclusions. This was ridiculous. A second call got me a verbal offer to renew my existing plan for the same $9.00/month with the same level of benefits but I had to agree to a verbal contract read to me over the phone to be recorded. I agreed if I were to receive a copy of the recording. When On Course Home Solutions of Illinois revealed the recording would be hidden and secreted from me, I balked. The company wanted to bind me to an annual contract verbally when it would keep the verbal contract secret. After almost 2 hours, I ended up terminating my existing plan and writing this review of On Course and another of American Water Resources for choosing to do business with such an unscrupulous partner. I plan to complain to the FTC (which under the current administration will mean nothing), my Board of Public Utilities, and our Department of Consumer Affairs, and perhaps in Illinois, as well. I urge everyone who might read this to find a company with more integrity and to shout to the world how impossible it is to cancel, and if you are told you must agree to an oral agreement read to you over the phone which recording is kept secret from you to shout it to the world. That's the only way things will change. OnCourse Home Solutions needs to be drummed out of business and American Water needs to take a step back to afford its customers more integrity.

Since posting this review I received the same canned response the company posts to other negative reviews making it appear it's concerned and wants to "make it right. This is akin to asking a gorilla to stand guard over a carton of bananas or trusting a car dealer who cheated you once and now offers to swap the car you bought. Anyone believing a conartist will change its stripes is to whom the great P. T. Barnum referred when he said, "There's a sucker born every minute." I don't trust or intend to rely upon either company based upon its insincere reply.

The tech who looked at my AC was great. He cleaned it out, he was on time and did just what was promised.

The crew responded quickly and diagnosed my problem with my water heater. The repairs were done quickly and professionally. The men were respectful of my.property.
I would recommend this company

The technician, Chris was very efficient, knowledgeable, and left the area extremely clean.

Chris also made a recommendation on the size of the new garbage disposal which we followed.

Over all we are very pleased with this service call.

Well, my wife is a Covid long hauler and our ac went out. NIPSCO called you and the first thing is nobody called us within 4 hours like Nipsco said. Second I called the next day because we fell asleep waiting for you to call us. Then I was lied to by the dispatchers. We were told that someone would be by from 1 to 5. No one called us to tell us what time they will be here. Most of the time the person that is scheduled to come out cause us and let us know if they’re gonna be here in a hour, two hours, half hour nothing. I called at 4 o’clock and the dispatcher told me that the weather was bad and he was in Illinois and it was too dangerous for him to come out. I called back minutes later and a different dispatcher answer and she told me that the person that was supposed to come out called off and they couldn’t get no one to come out once you found out that I talked to the other dispatcher, she changed her story so, I felt that we were lied to by the dispatchers. I called to have a different company come out because I didn’t trust you guys and we’re a sit in the house of 82° for four days because On Course lied and didn’t send anyone to come out. Thanks to On Course and they’re line dispatchers. We sat in the house for four days of 82° and we felt horrible. I had to call a friend to take care of the job. Which he did. So that’s why you got the bad rating. I hope you don’t practice lying to your customers unfortunately you guys are puttered Nipsco, but I will ask for someone else because I did not trust encore’s home solutions anymore. The dispatchers lie to their customers, and I feel like the customers are not your top priority which we should be. Nipsco is ripping people off, overcharging their customers on their bills and encore home solutions are lying to their customers. I don’t know what happened to you guys, but you guys really really screwed the pooch on this one!!!!

I could not get an appointment for four days for my dryer. Dryer was working but overheating. The tech notified me AFTER the appointment time that he had to reschedule. When he did show up the following day (an hour late) he was very nice but did not fix my dryer because he said the part was discontinued. It was still working when he left, but stopped working the next day. I called my old Appliance Repair man, and he was able to find the part online. I am not happy with Oncourse.
