Scam-OneForma only steals data and doesn't have real emails for support
To summarise: Made account->Successfully verified my identity-> Got banned for failing to verify my identity-> No response from support in 2months.
Made an account and filled out my profile, connected everything. It was all good until i had to do my Persona verification checks. I started, took a picture of my driving license, selfie and Persona said all verified. Went back to OneForma to find out that my account was banned for failing to prove my identity?
So Persona said i've verified my identity then i get banned for no reason.. I said ok, it might be a glitch let's reach out to support.. 10 emails, 2 months later, today still no answer from anyone within this company.
So i've taught, i have another email let's try with this one. Made another account(my 2nd account), and this time i did the Persona verification straight away so i don't lose time again, and guess what, banned again for failing the successful verification.
My advice: Stay away from this company as their only purpose is to collect data from you, including CV information, account details and IDs. They don't have a support and if you want to delete your data, good luck, as without going to court with a ghost company you can't.
Disorganization and Lack of Responsiveness – Cherry Opal Project
The Cherry Opal project team at OneForma is, without exaggeration, the most disorganized and disrespectful team I’ve worked with across all the projects I’ve participated in at Centific.
Initially, they created dedicated communication groups on Microsoft Teams for each locale. Shortly after, they decided to abandon those groups and move to a new communication method via Global Query. Contributors were then required to submit tickets and wait several days just to receive a response.
Then the project was transferred to a new team. This new team no longer monitors or responds to Global Query tickets, yet there was never any official communication informing contributors that this channel had been discontinued.
Instead, they just simply instructed us to direct all inquiries to a newly created email address. However, emails sent to this mailbox are rarely, if ever, answered. At the same time, the team continues to send frequent notifications about lengthy online training sessions scheduled at their convenience, along with recordings and guideline updates.
What’s missing is basic responsiveness. Contributors’ questions and concerns are consistently ignored.
OneForma, please escalate this message to the Cherry Opal project team. This level of disorganization and lack of respect for contributors is unacceptable.

But in the end I always got my issues solved. Many thanks to the LinkedIn company's page administrator, who resolved my last issue!!!

Excessive Unpaid Work & Minimal Compensation
This company tries to pay contractors as minimum as possible, too greedy. Even though they secure big contracts with giant tech companies, they will still try all possible ways to pay their hard-working contractors the minimum: no pay for certifications, no pay for constantly studying updated guidelines, no pay for attending endless lengthy online trainings/meetings, no pay for reading endless email updates from project teams, no pay for assessment/trial tasks, etc. On top of that, the hourly rate or fixed rate per task is almost the lowest in the market, and you even have to bear the transaction fee when receiving your monthly payment via Tipalti.
Lack of any support, unwillingness to help, constant excuses
I'm one of the users whose account was banned without any clear explanation or possibility to address the case. For more than half of the month, I try to reach their Account Review Team without any success. Their Support Team cannot help with my issue and sends me to this Account Review Team that I think does not exist at all. First, they told me that you need to wait 5-10 business days to receive a reply. I did that. Guess what? No one replied. Now, they tell me just to wait, not even mentioning the timeline. Maybe, you will be assisted, maybe not - this is their approach. They just created this Account Review Team for such types of requests and ask people direct their questions there knowing that assistance will not be provided. I really do not know what to do and whom to write. In my opinion, a company that respects their employees should immediately address their concerns and show willingness to help. I will keep trying, but looks like, no one is there to support me or people who confronted the same issues. Please be aware!

I have reached you many times, tried to reach, and I never received any assistance. You just ask to write a message to Account Review Team, but no one replies. I really think that this team dos not exist at all. Can someone really review my case and help me?
First, youu told me about 10 business days to receive the response, then you told me that there was the Easter break, now you asked me again to write to you - you see, no consistency, no assistance. You could save mine and yours time just helping me solve the issue. Instead, you prefer ping pong. It really frustrates.

Shambolic disgrace of an organisation
Shambolic disgrace of an organisation. Carried out work in January - we are now on the 26th of March - and they have decided that they would lock my account to prevent me raising invoices again for a full other month. Payoneer codes unlinked for no apparent reason in February and they claimed that they tried to pay me through PayPal but the payment value was over 300 dollars so they couldn't do so. Since then I have contacted the Project Team, Payment Team and Account Review teams - they have all now completely stopped responding. Avoid working on this platform - others out there pay within days of work. No idea why this company are being so difficult. They were very quick when I worked their specialised project and hounded me to do work with ridiculous deadlines at the time which I did. Yet when it comes to payment they are nowhere to be seen.

Do not waste your time
Absolute joke of a data collection engine. The "qualifications" and "certifications" will take many hours, all for one of 100 technicalities along the way to disqualify you from actually being able to earn anything. If you're new to the platform, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

I’m disappointed with the pay. The current project’s hourly rate is extremely low — it does not even reach half of the UK minimum wage. I was invited to work on a job from OneForma, but the pay rate is so low that I feel very disappointed in this giant AI company.

very poor experience
I’ve had a very poor experience with payments on this platform.
I completed different types of work was supposed to be paid out in the previous payment cycle. The payment failed initially because my Payoneer account was not connected.
I was then clearly instructed by project management that once I connected Payoneer, the payments would be processed in the next cycle. I followed those instructions immediately and set everything up correctly in early March.
After that:
- Payment support took over two weeks to respond
- No resolution was provided
- Instead, I was told I now have to wait an additional full month due to a “cut-off policy”
This is despite the fact that:
- The work was completed three months ago
- The payments had already been processed once
- The failure was due to a fixable setup issue, now resolved
- I followed all instructions given by their own team
- Different representatives provided conflicting information
Delaying already approved payments by an additional month after giving incorrect guidance is not acceptable.
If you plan to work with similar platforms, be aware that payment issues can take months to resolve and internal communication can be inconsistent.

My experience with the company.
I have started working on the Cherry Opal tasks for the Swedish language and I really enjoy it. The tasks are fun and it feels meaningful to help make AI safer for people. I also really appreciate that you reduced the Safety AFM Evaluation Guidelines V4 from 200 pages down to 30. It makes it so much easier to stay focused and maintain a high standard while working.
I’m proud to be part of this project and to work with you. I hope you keep improving and listening to feedback, because I truly believe we’re working toward the same goal together. It means a lot to be able to contribute to something that actually matters!

SCAM ALERT – Incentive Trap + Hours Manipulation + 4 Months ZERO Payment – I Have Proof
I am exposing OneForma's Polly Annotation Project so no other freelancer falls into this trap.
Here is exactly what happened:
STAGE 1: THE INCENTIVE TRAP
They promised USD 16.18 incentive. I completed it. I HAVE SCREENSHOT showing it was "processed" in their system. This made me trust them. Payment failed, but I thought – it's processed, it will come.
STAGE 2: THE WORK TRAP
Trusting them, I worked 10-15 MORE DAYS. Real work. 8-9 hours daily. Payment? ZERO.
STAGE 3: THE HOURS MANIPULATION
I worked 8-9 hours daily. Their system counted ONLY 5 HOURS PER DAY. And even those stolen, reduced hours? NEVER PAID.

Contributors Should Not Have to Pay Tipalti Transaction Fees
One concern I have is that contributors are required to bear the transaction fees when receiving payment through Tipalti. In my opinion, this is unfair to workers. The payments we receive are already the result of significant effort and time.
Beyond the actual billable tasks, contributors also spend many unpaid hours on training, studying lengthy guidelines, attending meetings, reviewing project updates, discussing edge cases, and clarifying instructions. All of this work is necessary to maintain quality, yet it is not compensated.
Given this reality, asking contributors to also cover the payment processing fees further reduces an already modest rate. It would be more responsible and respectful for the company to absorb the Tipalti transaction fees, rather than passing them on to contributors.
After all, the contributors are the ones doing the work that enables these projects to exist. Fair payment practices, including covering transfer fees, would go a long way toward showing appreciation for the people who make the work possible.

Absent customer support, Broken systems
In the past, I had a positive experience with this company, recalling a time when I had issues with project applications and received prompt resolution via email.
However, my recent experience has been marred by poor customer support. In early February, I deleted my account due to limited project opportunities, but I've continued to receive system emails, including notifications about updated SOW files as recently as yesterday. Over the past month, I've contacted them multiple times through the website's contact form and email, but received only automated responses that didn't address my issue. Despite following the account deletion steps and being unable to log in, I still receive system emails.
I've tried various ways to get help, including replying to automated responses and starting new email threads, but haven't received a response from a human. This lack of support is concerning, especially given that they respond to Trustpilot reviews but direct users to social media channels. It's unclear if their email systems are dysfunctional or if their customer support staff have departed.
Their problems go beyond customer service. I encountered the same "user email already exists" error loop when trying to register a new account, as mentioned in another review—suggesting their systems are broken whether you're joining or leaving. Combined with non-existent customer support, I'd urge potential users to think twice before committing to this platform. If the company reads my review, I urge them to check their emails and respond directly rather than asking users to contact them through social media. As someone who doesn't use social media, I find this request inconvenient and unhelpful.
