Open Road Access started off very well – they offered the best price, good communication, and helpful discounts. I was singing their praises- the best WAV Car rental in my opinion at the time.

Unfortunately, the experience was ruined by the end of hire process. When my hire ended on Friday, the vehicle was not collected as agreed. Instead, I was left responsible for parking it at my own expense, which I never expected. I had to go back and forth with them over emails about terms and conditions, which was very stressful.

What could have been a 5-star review turned into a very disappointing experience. Leaving me responsible for a car after hire ended is unacceptable. I am very dissatisfied.

i hope they improve on this in future, as their prices are still unbeatable.

This is the first time we have hired a WAV and we were delighted with how it all went. The ORA staff were very thorough at making sure we got the right vehicle to accommodate our daughter’s wheelchair and the delivery and collection service at the airport was excellent. It made our holiday visiting family around the south coast so easy. Would definitely use ORA again.

Excellent staff, helpful at all stages from determining best vehicle option to delivery and collection. All ran smoothly and our wheelchair bound cousin was able to come to Norfolk and enjoy a holiday visiting people and places. Thank you ORA staff for making this such a pleasant and easy visit. We hire wheel chair access van. As my dad can’t get in out. At now. We took him to Blackpool for the day and Glasgow for day and room for grandkids and mum. Was brilliant so easy to use. Van was delivered and stuff when booking where great and quick easy to book thank u. U made old man and family happy and maken memories x

The ORA team are amazing, this is the second time we’ve hired a WAV from them and we’ll definitely do so again. The staff are extremely helpful, friendly and professional, they respond to emails promptly with solutions, advice or support. The WAV was perfect and delivered by a member of the team who took his time explaining everything to us, he didn’t leave until we felt 100% comfortable about how to use it.

Excellent service, the vehicle we hired was perfect for taking mum on holiday, she was able to stay safely in her wheelchair. The car was very economical and comfortable. The delivery and pick up was excellent and very punctual. We would highly recommend.

Needed a wheelchair vehicle to get my mother to my father's funeral. It was a difficult time for me and my family but dealing with this company was a very pleasant experience, they couldn't do enough to help, nothing was too much trouble. From ordering to delivery they were in contact with me every step of the way keeping me updated. The vehicle itself was a year old and I was shown how to operate everything safely. I will certainly be using them again. Highly recommended and I urge anyone looking for a WAV to look no further and give ORA a call.

We needed a WAV to take my 98 year old mother to my brothers funeral. I found the website very easy to navigate and the customer service advisor Lottie was exceptional. She was very professional, pleasant, polite and extremely helpful. I was more than happy with every part of the booking experience. I thought the delivery updates were great and the actual delivery was brilliant. I was particularly impressed with Suraj the driver, he couldn't have been any better, explaining absolutely everything i needed to know, such a lovely polite and friendly guy. The knowledge and support we received were brilliant. They made a potentially stressful time very simple and from the moment we first spoke to Jade to the time they collected the car after use they were so efficient and could answer any question we asked. The other companies we spoke to, even when their website showed they had wheelchair access, didn't even seem to understand what that is. Thank you so much.

We had to hire a WAV while ours needed to go into the garage for some investigation maintenance. I cannot fault the team at ORA, from our initial enquiry to actual rental everyone we had contact with was brilliant. They understood our needs and the delivery guy was brilliant. I got the impression they truly understood how important it is when you rely on a wheelchair accessible vehicle in your everyday life. We will use them again when needed.

ORA made the whole process of organising and receiving a hire vehicle easy from start to finish. In particular, it was easy to get through on the phone and the voices at the other end were always friendly. The whole process was very efficient.

I have used this company before and had a great experience. Everything from initial contact with Lottie through to booking and delivery was very smooth, great experience.
Colin who dropped the vehicle off explained everything regarding the vehicle. He fully demonstrated how to use the wheelchair rear ramp, and locking mechanisms whilst using the wheelchair winch. Great company to rent from, throughly recommended. This being my second rental this time over Christmas. Will always use this company. Prices are very reasonable and competitive with great service. 👍
