SCAM company!

Opia is the company that handles google and samsung promotions (amongst others) and they are abolutely disgraceful!

Purchased a Pixel 10 pro which was supposed to come with Buds 2 pro and pixelsnap charger, claimable separately via a form. I filled in the form as soon as possible and the company has rejected it on the same day. I called to enquire and they said to send the screenshot of imei from the phone settings not from the box which I did originally. I specifically stressed that I am on the last day of return window where I can return the phone and if they were going to reject the claim, I would rather just send it back. She assured me to just send the imei from the phone and I should be good.

Two weeks and a few calls further down the line, they just rejected it again giving no valid reason! I called them up again and the guy on the phone was just spewing the same thing all over again about terms and conditions, I specifically queried what terms and condition shave been broken, nothing, I asked to speak to supervisor, not possible. Just the same line read all over again.

SCAM AND FRAUD! Will not be buying Google phones in the future due to that experience.

Das Samsung Galaxy S8 meiner Frau sah dank guter Pflege wie neu aus aber da das Display etwas zu klein ist, kaufte ich ihr das Pixel 10 Pro XL.
Da die Aktion mit den 250 Euro cashback lief, fand ich den Preis von 1300 Euro nicht so tragisch, man bekommt ja 250 wieder.
Das Pixel 10 Pro XL kam, ich musste zwei Wochen warten, bis ich an der Aktion teilnehmen konnte (dann ist die Rücktrittsfrist abgelaufen), ich füllte alles aus, löschte alle Accounts auf dem S8, setzte es auf Werkszustand und schickte es gut verpackt an die vorgegebene Adresse.
Das Handy sah aus, wie neu. Es waren weder Kratzer noch sonstige Gebrauchsspuren zu sehen. Es war vor 8 Jahren bei Amazon gekauft und seitdem immer mit Displayschutz und Hülle von meiner Frau genutzt worden.

Nun ging das Drama los...als nach 4 Wochen immer noch der Status auf "versende dein Telefon" stand, fragte ich nett per Mail an. Als Antwort erhielt ich, dass das Telefon nicht erhalten wurde und ich solle den Sendenachweis liefern.
Das tat ich, ich scannte den Einlieferungsbescheid bei DHL, sowie einen Link, der Zeigte, dass seit dem 26.09. das Gerät zugestellt war.
Keine 24 Stunden später erhielt ich eine Absage, mein Gerät sei zerbrochen und darum müsse man meinen Antrag ablehnen. Darauf erwiderte ich, dass dies unmöglich sei, woraufhin man mir ein Foto meines Handy mit zerstörter Rückseite schickte. Nun fällt mir gar nichts mehr ein. Als ob ich solch ein Handy einschicken würde...das ist richtiggehend zerstört, man hat sich nicht mal die Mühe gemacht, den Dreck an der Stelle zu entfernen, auf die es wohl gefallen ist. Jetzt ergab alles Sinn, hätte ich aus irgendwelchen Gründen den Einlieferungsbescheid nicht mehr wäre man fein raus und hätte behaupten können, ich hätte es nie eingeschickt. So aber unterstellt man mir, ich habe solch ein kaputtes Telefon eingeschickt. Nicht nur, dass man mir die 250 Euro verweigert, man hat auch mein Handy zerstört, so kann ich es nicht mal mehr verschenken.

Am Montag werde ich bei meiner Rechtschutzversicherung einen Antrag auf Kostendeckung stellen und rechtliche Schritte einleiten. Ich habe Zeugen, die bestätigen, dass das Handy in einwandfreien Zustand war, ich kann das so nicht akzeptieren.

The application to get my watch was fairly easy, but I think I had to do some searching to apply for it. Was a nice surprise to see it come through the post a few weeks later

Purchased a promotional product (vacuum cleaner) from an eligible retailer as per the terms of the cashback promotion. Waited 30 days to submit the claim and for it only to be declined with no valid reason given. Contacted customer service multiple times and was given baseless reasons which you could not challenge. I stopped participating in such promotions for a year and was hoping things would have been better but no. Terrible company to deal with. Never again. Currently have filed a charge back from credit card.

Good items in promotion had 3x chrome books after buying 3 s24 phone 2 were sorted easily the 3rd took a while to sort .all arrived earlier than they said

I have received my new Samsung laptop on Friday 14th February but unfortunately it had been damaged in the transit (box had massive hole in it) so I contacted the team via website and email on Tuesday 18th February but after emails not being responded to, sending new emails with all photos etc included and having no alternate contact details I am still waiting for something to happen. The last I have been told is there will be an 'internal investigation' - god knows what for, surely all that's needed is to collect the damaged laptop and resend a new laptop....

Customer service was amazing! I was going to be out the country when my laptop was meant to arrive and no one to receive and they helped to ensure it arrived before I left.
Would highly recommend!

Received the "gift" vut it was faulty. Now have zero contact from them! Every email I send i just get a form to fill out to claim my free gift. I get no response from my emails with regards to the gift.

The item was according to specification and it arrived within the stated time frame.

Good promotion but seems to take a while to arrive once you are informed you have done everything would be easier if this promotion was done for you at purchase instead of applying for it x

Annoying to have such a wide range of expected delivery date - we were going on holiday!
