The LUX8 Academy is designed to bring back the old school dentist - confident and capable of carrying out any procedure, including all dental extractions. The oral surgery courses have been designed and delivered by Dr Yusuf Gadiwalla, a GDC-registered Specialist in Oral Surgery, providing delegates with evidence based teaching and hands on surgical training. The LUX8 Extraction Course is a two day immersive learning experience designed for general dentists who are lacking confidence with dental extractions and want to drastically improve their routine and surgical extraction skills. The LUX8 Wisdom Tooth Course is a one day masterclass designed for general dentists confident with surgical extractions and are looking to expand their skills to surgical removal and coronectomy of wisdom teeth.

Amazing. I wouldn’t be writing a review if I didn’t think it was absolutely amazing! From the teaching to the social everything was informative and enjoyable. The teaching was nice and understandable and even if there were parts people didn’t understand, the team made sure everyone understood and answered all questions perfectly! The practical element really did help and honestly I’m excited to use the knowledge learnt from the course. I definitely feel more confident now and I actually know what I’m doing and why. Definitely gave a structured good way to think about extractions.
Huge shoutout to the team for hosting such an excellent, informative and enjoyable event!

The Lux8 team have nailed it
The Lux8 team have really put together a great course. Dr Yusuf, Zarah and the other members of the team make it a very slick and fun experience. Unlike many other courses the clinical skills learnt are practiced multiple times over the 2 days which really allows one to hone skills under excellent supervision. The content is great and the very knowledgeable and approachable Dr Yusuf has planned for enough time to answer all and any questions on and around the subject matters.
I might just book on again to have a couple of days with the team again.

Excellent oral surgery course
Yusuf has such a vast amount of knowledge and experience which he was able to share with us at LUX8. I feel a lot more confident undertaking surgical extractions n ow and use of instruments during extractions. I would recommend this course to all GDPs.
