Online dating is a bit of a minefield and my experience with Orchid Romance was initially mixed, however I do believe that this platform has a great community and has a role to play in bringing people together break down borders and finding real love and the right person. The purpose of this review is to finally put to bed some of the platforms critics.
The platform is not perfect, for a data developer who develops systems and platforms and uses AI on a daily basis, spotting inconsistent profile communication messages was a daily battle. There are a few fake profiles, I found one where the photos used 2 different women that were clearly different ethnicity.
Whilst there are some questionable practices, customer service do listen.
People call the platform a scam. I can confirm it is not. I can understand why people think this, the use of questionable profiles and AI responses can lead to unnecessary credit spend giving people this impression. I cant deny there are some questionable processes, lack of transparency is another issue and I was blissfully unaware of the 5000 credit spend required to share contact details.
However when I found out I was given a full refund and received the funds the very next day. Scams dont give refunds, simple as that.
I would never have asked for a refund if I knew that my profile would be shut down. I had started talking to a girl who is now my girlfriend, so again transparency needs to be better.
However, I did have an old login I forgot about and I was able to use this to contact my friend and explain what happened. This time I was aware of the 5000 credits reaching 5000 credits costs around £1200 and I think its unfair that the cost falls onto men as the superuser use the site for free. My superuser application was rejected without satisfactory explanation.
However, me and my friend were getting closer, and it was clear that we were a good match. I therefore decided to use savings to explore this further. Suffice to say I know she is the one, without the platform I would never have found her. So the money spent is worth it even though I have issues with how the platform structures its spending the financial burden should not fall onto men.
Despite cost concerns, I went ahead because this was something extraordinary about my feelings, how we share our days, how we communicate, and how she is now a part of my life in a very big way.
It wasnt long until I hit the 5000 credit spend, the platform then checks my id bank statements etc. I was verified by morning. I wasnt aware of a further 14 day wait time, again not much information was shared with me, but after just a few days my friend accepted the exchange, I received her contact details so we can move forward and make our dreams come true without such huge expense of the platform.
What I like about the platform is how safe it is, where other platforms dont moderate which can lead to romance scammers etc, you dont have to worry about that here.
I also think the quality of women is far greater, so your chance of finding somone is good.
Despite my concerns, the platform has been a success for me, and I expect a happy ending, I am already planning my visit to China to meet her.

UPDATE.
After following the sites instruction to get to 5000 credit spend, I expected to receive the correct contact details.

All I received was an email. No confirmation that the person was real or what checks they had done. The email was rarely responded to and it took another month to get to WeChat. Once at WeChat there was a significant drop off. Video calls refused, daily contact dropped due to work and illness, 4 months later the same avoidance tactics.
Feels like a tactical wind down of the relationship to frustrate me so I decide to leave her, yet she is regularly active on the site.
I have analysed and test a number of profiles and it’s clear the AI scripts are used on most profiles, immediate responses and the goldfish effect where users can’t remember previous conversations or handle more than 1 message at a time.
My conclusion is that 95% of the site are AI profiles. 3% are agency paid workers and 2% are real. These number are based on people that have contacted me and I have used advanced AI techniques with a number of parameters. Message timing, inability to view profiles, and techniques as mentioned above. However, it isn’t definitive but it is a strong indicator. I also work in AI data automation architecture.

Doubtful this site will end in a happy outcome just empty pockets. I have started a chargeback with my financial institutions. I’ll report back here on the outcome.

The profiles seem real, The guys are really nice and I was able to interact easily with other users.

This site Orchidromance is safe. Meeting new people and so many stunning girls is great. But you have to choose friends wisely, being careful who you choose as a friend. You have to learn to build a friendship first and learn trust and keeping it together. This is how you make your connection stronger in the process and build a bond that will make love grow stronger and stronger each day. And I love that this site gives you this chance, I think I'm already in love... But you still need to stay careful and attentive…

The site is geared to extort you, I was talking to a girl and things were great for a while then everything seemed to change, I got a random letter through her mail advising me to tame it down, despite the girl being really seductive, alot worse than me, now I know all your messages and mail are being watched and blanked out so your date can't respond to contact info of any sort, they even but in on a conversation so you think it's your girl saying it, it's the same for Japan dates, Ukrainian charm, they are all the same format and pricing, these sites are a scam, DO NOT USE. And if you write a bad review they respond with the same generic BS, so to finalise, these are EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE SCAM SITES. and you will never get to meet your date because they won't let you. And if you try to close your account they won't let you, they feed you more BS and give you free credits to shut you up. These are chinese owned sites set up as an off shore entity so can't be traced, all credits are bought through a US broker. It's weird how you credit your account and all of a sudden you get 5 photos sent through from your date costing 50 credits to view them, thats around £26, mails 10 credits to read, 30 to reply, it's utter robbery and you wonder why scammers get away with it. These are fine examples because they know they are untouchable.

The most expensive site I know, they give you offers like 30 credits for £9.99, and it cost 10 credits to read a letter, that means yoy pay £3.33 to read 1 message, it costs on average £1.50 a minute to call china from the UK, On top of being ridiculously expensive, you can't give personal details as it is blocked out, and for some reason the women don't want to talk anywhere but on the site. I haven't a clue how you can have a real relationship using this site, Don't use it, unless you want a pen pal that will cost you at least £3.33 to read 1 letter.

They expect u to pay over 1000$ before they will release details of contact, even when both parties being over 18 and after a period of chatting had both wanted to take the next step & share contact details the platform refuses to release those details until over 1000$ is spent , I call that extortion

Great experience so far, I think I will get back and tell you more later because I want to use more but I am a hard worker and don't have much time for love...

I though it was a serious site but actually they only want to take your money, first of all is way too expensive and I am not sure these ladies are real! there is no way to verified any page I even wrote to them how to verified and they never answer so is all bullshit. I never got verified!
I was flooded with messages and one of the woman I was talking to sent me all kind of video (you have to pay 50 credits to wacht one) a lot of pictures and 7 letters in 2 hrs. that's impossible!, also they make mistakes, in almost all the pictures you don't see any other people in the background is like nobody lives in China, a country full of people!

I’ve always been limited to my city on other people, seeing the same profiles over and over. Orchidromance changed that, I’ve connected with people in other regions entirely, places I never would’ve looked before. It’s opened up way more options without feeling long-distance or unrealistic. Honestly feels like it expanded my dating world.

I think she is the one who can keep my love and my heart to fall in love with her and she is very beautiful and enjoy to talk to her and she is definitely sweet and funny and enjoy with her and she makes me smile and enjoy being with her enjoy every moment of time with her thank you so much and I hopefully she is my love one and faithful person and enjoy with you and family too

I was talking to four "Women" and found out that they were using other peoples images and after doing some research I found that some of them were using other peoples pictures without their permission and me being an idiot I was scammed

Hey I like this website, it seems great!

I was confused at first looking for an app but ended up just using it on my browser and it works totally fine. Pages load fast, layout adapts well to mobile, no bugs so far. It actually feels smoother than some apps.

The experience so far is great. Meeting people and chatting is easy
