Spa was as described and arrived promptly. ONLY negative was there was no operations manual. There was a information pamphlet but it seemed to be general pamphlet covering all the spas, not just this one, and so lacked a lot of information on operating the various controls and physical connections. Almost nothing on the pump or motors. Would also be much better id jets were adjustable.

The average hot tub lasts 3 to 5 years according to the repair man
We bought the LS550 Plus in June of 2022 and it started leaking in December of 2025. The hot tub only opens on one side. Meaning if the problem isn't where the panel is located, your hot tub is totaled. Turns out that mice had chewed the hoses in ours so it is destroyed over $20 worth of hoses. I asked the repair guy how long hot tubs usually last? He said ones like this typically last 3 to 5 years. Had I known that I would not have made the investment.

Five years is about when you should have to start thinking about components, but it can be difficult to get to the lines if you have rodent issues.
The fix is not difficult...just very tedious to get to. We are glad to talk you through repair options, but it will likely require draining the spa and turning it on its side to cut out the foam insulation (though the foam should remove easily where it has been saturated).
Again, not hard but tedious.
As for the spa itself, it will last forever if taken care of...pumps, control boxes, heaters, and control panels can be easily replaced when they fail. Jets can be replaced, too. The internal plumbing is the biggest conflict, but apart from outside forces (like mice) they last a long time!
