OVHCloud is a diamond in the rough; don’t fret, don’t hesitate.

I’ve been an OVHCloud customer for nearly two decades, and their service consistently delivers exceptional value, even more with their competitive pricing. While their network setup can be a bit complex at first, once you learn the ropes, there are many powerful features to leverage.

I have found that approaching Customer Support chat with clear details and a technical mindset really helps; being specific and speaking their language streamlines the process. Adding a touch of nerdy humor to the conversation makes the experience more relaxed and enjoyable both ways, too. When I’ve encountered tricky issues, support agents have either resolved them quickly or escalated them to Level 2 when needed.

A special thanks to Vitor and Andrea for their outstanding help today. Their professionalism and customer focus are precisely why I’m leaving this review. They truly earned these five stars. Kudos to both!

Extremely Negative Experience

Extremely Negative Experience
I do not recommend OVH for domain and hosting management.

The renewal system is deliberately unclear and designed in a way that easily misleads users.
The platform allows you to renew both hosting and domain for three years, but in reality not even one year is actually applied to the domain. The entire amount is automatically refunded, and the domain is canceled, leaving you without service.

This setup forces the customer to pay an additional “redemption fee” to recover the domain and then renew it again yearly, effectively paying more than double the original cost.

The customer service provides no real solutions, only repeating rules and sending links, completely ignoring how unreasonable and non-transparent the whole process is.

In short: a terrible experience, no clarity, and zero customer protection.
I strongly advise against using OVH if you expect a serious and reliable service.

Pessima esperienza, forza commerciale praticamente assente (tanto vale comprare a retail dal sito)
Se vi si rompe un componente, e non avete contratto enterprise, potete sperare e aspettare che qualcuno prenda a cuore la situazione
Non rispondono a nessuna pec, nemmeno per sogno

I was able to check the two tickets and for the first one which concerns your complaint, I confirm the information which was transmitted. Corporate accounts do not benefit from the right of withdrawal legally in European Union countries.

Regarding the second ticket and the hard disk change, my colleague had replied to you within the hour and was awaiting your reply to request an intervention in the data center and to obtain your written agreement to confirm the disk change to be made.

LADRI !! CS11149634

sto scrivendo in merito al ticket CS11149634. Ho ceduto il dominio a terzi e ritenevo di aver correttamente disattivato anche l’indirizzo email associato. Successivamente ho ricevuto un avviso di pagamento per quell’indirizzo email, che non ho saldato in quanto il servizio non mi risultava più attivo. L’indirizzo è stato prontamente disattivato da loro (e questo va benissimo), ma ora mi viene comunque richiesto il pagamento di 21€, con la minaccia di un intervento da parte di Intrum per il recupero del credito. Trovo inaccettabile dover pagare per un servizio che non è stato fornito. SONO LADRI!!!

Aggiornamento dopo aver letto la loro risposta 27/05/25: hanno inviato un sollecito il 03/03/25 per una fattura emessa il 01/03/25 e l’11/03/25 hanno disattivato l’indirizzo email. Nessun preavviso come scrivono, neanche settimane come sostengono...
Oltre che ladri, sono anche bugiardi.

At OVHcloud, we make every effort to ensure that our users are informed of all deadlines, especially during renewals.

Services that have not been terminated are billed. OVHcloud cannot decide to terminate services administered by its users.
In addition, our billing system sends several reminders when services are renewed.

As the invoice was generated, the service was retained until payment is made. After several weeks of non-payment, the service was deactivated. However, the invoice remains due.

Billed me for 14k€ -- it was 3€

Billed me for 14k€, turns out, it was a mistake. The bill was 3€. Took 1 month to get the funds back and 1 month to get a compensation.

I've been with OVH for more than 15 years, but hey, the support and operations are really getting worse.

Tempestiva risoluzione per un rimborso

Ho contattato l'assistenza di OVH perché c'è stato un disguido nel rinnovo di un servizio e questi è stato pagato due volte. Hanno tempestivamente risolto la questione e nel giro di 24 ore ho avuto l'accredito del rimborso. Sono molto soddisfatto di come sia stata gestita la mia pratica. N.biglietto CS10983088

Different prices across different accounts in the same location. Can't login with the same account on different subdomains. Really weird UX.

Ho acquistato dell'estensione dei Giga…

Ho acquistato dell'estensione dei Giga dell'email di posta, per errore ho fatto l'ordine due volte. Nonostante la mia repentina segnalazione, hanno rifiutato di farmi il rimborso nonostante sia impossibile da parte loro eseguire la prestazione due volte. Inoltre per attivare l'ampliamento dei giga, la procedure è super complicata, dovrei addirittura migrare la mia posta attuale. Pessimo Servizio!! Anche un pò fraudolento vista la mancata comunicazione sulle procedure di attivazione. ta85303-ovh
