Bought the sock second hand from the Vinted app. It has made my life livable again, being able to sleep at night knowing my little one is safe (anxious mother of a baby with laryngomalacia). I do not know how I should have gotten through this without the Owlet sock.
Absolutely horrible to connect to WiFi (the conversion from 5G til 2.4 G was a nightmare) - the instructions within the app does not cover the process step by step. Got great help from the customer service fast, though.

Our owlet has been a game changer!! It’s provided so much comfort for a very health anxious mum. Not only that it’s really helpful seeing sleep patterns for your baby all in one place. It’s really easy to use and I wouldn’t be without it now, highly recommend it especially to anyone who needs a little more reassurance.

Personally I can’t recommend the dream duo enough.

I ended up having an emergency c section and had to put to sleep so the first couple of weeks of our baby being home was really challenging. As a first time mother as I was in so much pain and struggled to get to him quickly.

My partner had him on his side of the bed for the first couple of weeks and knowing I could open the app and look at the camera to see he was okay gave me so much reassurance I can’t even put it into words.

Having a newborn is really hard especially when you’re trying to recover and the base unit by the side of the bed completely takes away any unnecessary anxiety and worry. I can actually sleep knowing if there’s any problem the base unit will alarm me.

The sock is soft and comfortable on his foot it doesn’t bother him at all.

The camera picture quality is amazing, even on a night. The sound and two way talk is fantastic. We’ve had no issues with WiFi connection.

Please don’t be swayed by the negative reviews, for us as a family with what we’ve gone through the dream duo has been an actual life saver and I can’t thank Owlet enough

Such great products that have relieved my anxiety around my little one ten fold!

As a nervous parent, the sock gives reassurance especially when baby is poorly. So simple and easy to use, never had any issues at all. Will definitely be using on future babies and personally feel this is a must have product!

I have the owlet duo and it’s honestly stopped my anxiety putting my little one down to sleep. I would recommend to any anxious person or first time parents.

I have recently been using the dream duo and absolutely love it. The sock has been brilliant gives me so much peace of mind with my newborn, paired with the camera I have been so impressed. I really recommend this duo.

An unmatched piece of mind when I had my son. The owlet dream sock has been a life saver (literally!!). Been a couple occasions where it has alarmed and luckily got the medical care we needed and was all fine. I don’t know if I would have slept a wink without it!

The dream sock gives me so much peace of mind whilst my baby sleeps. It’s very responsive and we’ve had several alerts which have helped a lot. As soon as I put that sock on in the evening, I instantly relax.

As my baby is very young so I haven’t needed to use the camera as much as he’s always by my side, however I use this for day time naps whilst I get some jobs done and it has been great! No issues!

I’ve noticed some of the reviews on here mention connections issues, we had one of two at the start but the customer team were so helpful and so responsive, I had help within the hour and have no had a problem since!

I don’t know how I would have coped without it! As an anxious parent being pregnant after a full term loss the owlet helped me so much as a new mum. The fact I could track everything from my phone was super convenient and I will continue to use this with my future babies! 10/10 worth the investment

After an anxious pregnancy, the Owlet helped for some really reassuring night times. It was my husband that wanted the Owlet to begin with, but I now couldn’t be without!

After only two weeks of having the owlet, our dog pinched the sensor and broke it!
After speaking with Polly in customer services and explaining the situation, she arranged for a sensor to be shipped the following day.
Polly was extremely helpful and understanding, thank you!

Do not buy- constant issues with pairing over the last year.

Sock failed which was replaced, we persisted with camera despite constant repairing issues. We finally gave up and asked for support who confirmed the camera was faulty and needs replacing. We were 3 weeks out of warranty and been offered no alternative solution that to buy another camera.

Disappointing.

Owlet sock - 1st one broke just outside the two year warranty. No help or discount from customer services. 2nd one broke after 15 months. Customer services state that replacement socks only have a one year warranty despite the two year warranty on all products noted on their website. I asked for a link to where it says replacements are only 1 year - "It is not listed on the website any longer but, the policy is that it is 1 year from the date of purchase for replacement parts". I've asked for a copy of the policy. Pathetic. Avoid.

If you're expecting customer service after your purchase, forget about it. We bought sock and cam, had issues with both an get no response whatsoever from owlet support, despite numerous attempts at communication with them.
Avoid and go for another brand would be my advice.

Failed to fulfil warranty for faulty product. Customer service appalling, you just get ignored.

Avoid at all costs

The sock does work when connected but connection is buggy, however the bundled camera is beyond a joke. It’s been used fairly sparingly for less than six months and is now rebooting in an endless loop. For something that’s not exactly cheap and is fairly important for child safety it’s not great…what’s even worse is owlets total lack of response to a warranty claim…I’m on my fourth day of an automated email telling me they will respond in 24 hours and when that expires, you get another one that seems to ignore that they have said they will respond in 24 hours …saying they will respond in 24 hours…

Not really what you want

Our owlet was hacked and someone was waking and taking your baby at night. On further research found this has been an ongoing issue once 2018 and owlet keep denying it and telling people to change passwords. Ours was 16 digits and should have been unshakable! There is a back door security issue with the app. They have even said it’s not a security device and it doesn’t need to be secure… items around and giving access should be the safest int he world DON’t buy

After discovering that my Owlet cam malfunctioned just four months into its use, I contacted customer support.

They patiently guided me through various troubleshooting options to reset the device. However, despite our best efforts, the camera remained unresponsive.
The turning point in this experience was when they requested proof of purchase. This requirement initially worried me, as I didn't know if we had kept the receipt.

Once I provided the proof of purchase, things moved swiftly. They promptly sent out a replacement camera, which arrived at my doorstep within just two days. This level of responsiveness and efficiency was commendable.

In summary, my encounter with Owlet's customer care was largely positive. Their dedication to resolving my issue and their speedy replacement of the faulty camera left me satisfied. While the proof of purchase requirement added a bit of hassle. Overall, I can confidently say that Owlet's customer support team stands out for their commitment to customer satisfaction.
