El trato a la persona fatal. Impresentables mal educados mala información mala atencion y servicio pésimo, mas preocupados por que su jefe le dieran el dia libre de fiesta en Mahon que por atender al cliente. Y que decir de la mujer mayor que me atendió. Espero que su vida mejore pk el trato que nos dio fue para despedirla. (Gabi) según dijo. Quizá hasta en eso mintió y el joven a su lado mas preocupado de su ligue del movil que de la atencion al cliente. Espero que la directiva de esta empresa tome medidas. Pk jamas volveré a alquilar un coche con ellos. Vergüenza de empresa.

A fuir absolument. Cherche le moindre détail possible pour vous faire payer en plus du prix fixé. Pas cordial du tout .

A fuir. N'accepte soit disant pas certaines cartes Visa pour la caution vous obligeant ainsi à prendre une assurance. Pratique scandaleuse. Aucune discussion possible.

Te dan un presupuesto desorbitado en el que no aparece ni el nombre y el número del perito,con lo cual ,te lo valoran ellos a ojo ,te lo quitan de la tarjeta y ya no contestan ni email..les pides fotos del coche reparado y no contestan..Se quedan con el dinero y no lo reparan

À fuir absolument. Suite à un retard de vol, nous sommes arrivés au guichet à 21h30. La conseillère a refusé ma carte Visa Premier pour la caution sous prétexte qu’il s’agissait d’une carte de "débit", alors que ce n'est pas stipulé clairement et que le paiement initial a été accepté. Profitant de l'heure tardive et du fait que les autres loueurs étaient fermés, ils nous ont contraints à payer 153 € d'assurance supplémentaire pour récupérer le véhicule. C'est de la vente forcée pure et simple. Pratique malhonnête et récurrente chez ce loueur.

A fuir.... si vous ne prenez pas l'assurance complémentaire à 252 euros, vous avez intérêt à faire des moindres détails, car on trouvera le petit minuscule impact que vous n'aurez pas vu et photographié. Cela nous a coûté 300 euros, le client précédent et le client suivant ont eu le même problème.

Grosse déception avec Owners Cars à Minorque : des pratiques abusives et des frais cachés !

Nous avions réservé un véhicule à un tarif qui semblait correct. Mais une fois sur place, ils nous ont obligés à souscrire une assurance tout risque à 166 €, uniquement parce que la carte bancaire était au nom de ma conjointe.
Certes, cette condition est indiquée en tout petit dans leurs conditions générales avant la réservation, mais dans les faits, c’est clairement une pratique abusive. Aucun effort commercial, aucune solution proposée : c’était soit payer, soit repartir sans voiture.

Et ce n’est pas tout : d’autres frais cachés viennent s’ajouter une fois sur place, notamment :
• Des frais plus élevés si vous avez moins de 25 ans.
• Des frais supplémentaires pour la restitution du véhicule selon l’heure ou le lieu, non mentionnés clairement lors de la réservation.

Au final, la facture peut être bien plus salée que ce que le site vous laisse croire.
Bref, un vrai piège à touristes, avec une politique commerciale honteuse.
Je déconseille fortement cette compagnie.

We booked a hire car through Tui for 3 day on Menorca on 1st April to be delivered to our hotel on 12th May.
I received the confirmation and voucher by email, all the details were correct. Then a week before the hire commenced I received another email stating a different hotel on the other side of the island. My worries began.
I spoke to my rep in resort, she rang them but no answer.....more worries.
Then two days before delivery they Whatsapp'd me querying the hotel. I sent a picture of my voucher to prove my booking. Fine was the reply, see you there.
Then and message informing me they would not deliver to my hotel.
I immediately cancelled the hire car.
I found another local company who will deliver to us.
Ownercars cannot be trusted to adhere to the contract THEY set up.
Tui take your booking on the app but any problems they simply do not want to know.
I suggest hiring a car from a local business, they are to be trusted.
I would have given zero stars if it were possible!

Overbooked, total disaster, unorganized, nobody answers the phone. I was attracted by their competitive price but will never fall again on that trap.

When I arrived to the pick up point, there were a minimum of 30 persons waiting for a small transport (no more than 8 capacity) to be driven about 10-15 mins away of the airport to collect their rented cars. The van takes minimum 20 mins up and down and with 30 persons ahead... I had more than 1 hour waiting time. Meanwhile nobody would answer the phone at the rental agency... so I decided to walk inside the terminal have a car rented in 15 minutes with a small wait of 5-10 mins bc there was a couple ahead of me. Much more personalized, better logistics and faster service.

Desastre total, masificado, no responden al teléfono.

Alquilé coche en Menorca (en temporada baja) atraído por su buen precio. Según llegué al punto de recogida en el aeropuerto, había una cola de mínimo 30 personas y no sé si una o dos furgonetas de capacidad para 7-8 personas que tardaba unos 15 mins en llegar al sitio (ida y vuelta te vas a casi 30 mins por furgo y viaje) Es decir, una cola que fácilmente iba a durar una hora y luego al llegar, imagínate lo.que toca esperar...
Nadie respondía al teléfono para recabar información.

Total, crucé al lado de la terminal, fui a una empresa con coches de alquiler dentro del aeropuerto y esperando 5-10 minutos ya que estaban con otra reserva, 15 mins después estaba andando a por el coche . Cuando con la Owners rental hubiese seguido esperando a que me recogieran...

UN DESASTRE!
No contestan nunca, ni en la oficina, ni en el número de emergencia.
La dirección indicada para la devolución del coche es errónea, ¡no la pusieron a día desde 2018! Nos la pasamos dando vueltas para encontrar el lugar adonde nos habían llevado en coche cuando aterrizamos (perdimos más o menos 1h30, entre pitos y flautas…). Al llegar finalmente al lugar, no había nadie en el mostrador. ALUCINANTE. Más tarde, llegó un chófer que nos llevó al aeropuerto.
NO ALQUILEN ALLÍ, aunque sea más barato que en otros sitios.

Vorneweg, der Mietpreis war günstig und bisher war ich auch immer zufrieden aber diesmal kann ich nur von diesem Unternehmen abraten oder aber ganz viel Zeit investieren um eventuelle Schäden zu dokumentieren! Habe Gott sei Dank ne Vollkasko ohne Selbstbeteiligung gehabt! Mal sehen ob ich mein Geld wieder bekomme! Anscheinend hat diese Autovermietung sich dieses Jahr vorgenommen niedrige Preise durch vorgetäuschte Schäden zu erhöhen. Ich habe ein ziemlich dreckiges Auto (innen und außen)bekommen mit angeblich nur zwei kleinen Vorschäden--gefunden und dokumentiert habe ich wesentlich mehr! Leider habe ich einen übersehen! Bei Rückgabe des Autos ging der Mitarbeiter gezielt auf zwei Schäden zu, die offiziell nicht angegeben waren! >Einen hatte ich bildlich aber festgehalten und trotzdem wollte er dies nicht glauben und fing an zu streiten-bis er es einsehen musste-den anderen hab ich leider übersehen! Obwohl ich diesen Schaden nicht verursacht habe und dies mit Zeugen belegen konnte wurde selbst, als man sehen konnte das dies ein schon wesentlich älterer Schaden war nicht akzeptiert! Man nutzte dann auch aus das man bei Abgabe auch etwas unter Zeitdruck steht wegen des Rückflugs! Es wurden sofort 350 Euro einbehalten und 3 Tage später kam auch schon eine Werkstattrechnung (auf Menorca gerade fast unmöglich so schnell nen Termin zu bekommen) per E-mail mit meiner einkopierten Unterschrift vom Beginn der Vermietung! Schade dies war das letzte Mal das ich dort ein Auto gemietet habe! Das ist einfach nur noch BETRUG!!! Wie ich lesen konnte bin ich auch nicht der >einzige, der dies dieses Jahr zu spüren bekommen hat!

I rented a car 28 July-4 August via Jet2 holidays. My advice is do your due diligence. Pick up from the airport was prompt. Check in at the office was prompt with plenty of agents available. They do operate a ticket system during busy periods. I had purchased full protection insurance from jet 2 so didnt need any additional insurance. I was not pressurised into buying their insurance. The agent was very good and explained very carefully that there was 2 pieces of
damage highlighted on the car and explained that i should check the car myself and video any damage i found. So i spent 20 mins checking the car. I know its a pain in 30 degree heat but you must do it. They are very clear check the car!. I found 19 other bits of damage and some quite substantial . Yes alot and you could argue that you could be caught out. I videoed the car. Upon return i was told the damage was too minor for them to worry about and i was not charged and my card fully refunded. I had refuelled and fully refunded. So they are very upfront what you should do. I know its a pain on holiday to check and double check but if you do you should be ok.

Dropped off car in Son Bou. Car was great for what we needed however despite returning the car with a full tank (closest petrol station was 7km so had to drive back from there!) they still charged me ~€20 for fuel. When I went to the desk to discuss it, the employee couldn’t care less, despite showing them a receipt from the petrol station and the fact that there was more range when I gave the car back than when I collected it. Looking at other reviews, this company just takes advantage of having your card details for extra charges. Will not be using this company again.

I wouldn't leave 1 star if I didn't have to. Absolute scam of a company. Take photo's and I mean lots of photo's. Just dropped a car back, the chap that I handed it back too, went straight to the passengers wing mirror and found the smallest scratch. I wiped it off, but still claimed it needed painting. I couldn't find the photo when I was there, but I have now, so will be emailing very shortly. They are taking 350 euros out of my deposit. I had just watched the same person do exactly the same to the customer before us. I have extra insurance to cover this. Strange he asked me if I had before he told me.

I felt obliged to write a review after seeing all the negative reviews. We used Owners in Menorca, Son Bou, and couldn't have had a better/easier time. Everything was so simple and straightforward. Car was fantastic and the collection/drop-off was a doddle. Would definitely recommend them and use again!

Pues la verdad una experiencia contrastada y más o menos bien, menos la chulería que tiene un hombre por teléfono para explicarte un suplemento que se lo sacan de la manga el mismo día de la reserva, si nos avisan con tiempo...no me parece ni normal ni transparente, ya que no lo indica en absolutamente ningún lado, si es verdad que el extra es entendible pero hay maneras de explicar las cosas de manera calmada y sin faltar el respeto, yo llevo más de 10 años trabajando en una multinacional en atención al cliente y jamás he tratado así a nadie...Al final los perjudicados somos nosotros y que si alguien debería estar enfadado, somos nosotros...pero tampoco se justificaría que hablásemos así con alguien que nos está atendiendo...pero aquí al parecer si...

Me pidieron por teléfono que les enviara un email con una captura de pantalla de las condiciones dónde no pone nada de eso...¿Respuesta? Ninguna, no había argumentos...al final decidimos seguir con la reserva, te avisan unas horas antes para que ya no puedas contratar el alquiler en otro lado.

Os aconsejo mejor otra empresa de alquiler, os costará menos y quizás sean más amables, eso sí, los que nos atendieron en al recoger el coche, muy amables y también nos dejaron un coche mejor del contratado...pero eso ya nos trastocó el inicio de vacaciones...

The pickup time was for 11am at a hotel in our local area. Turns out it was the wrong address. After calling the number from the confirmation email, the man on the phone repeatedly refused to give me the actual address of the meeting point and kept insisting to look on their website. I was an hour late due to his negligence, only to meet the most vile, disgusting human wretch on the face of menorca, who was only interested in arguing with me over the exact address of the pick up point.

(I even had the receptionist at our hotel we were actually staying at speak to him and he shouted at her over the phone!!)

He then admitted the address was wrong and hadn't been updated in six years but made it apparent that it was my fault. In the end I walked away and I was glad.

Words cannot describe my experience with this utter pathetic troglodyte, who is better off unemployed!!

Got a multiple damaged some dirty car. Pictures of the damage I had to take myself when picking up for proof. Not at all fully fueled. Long lines when bringing back. Some irritated personnel. High charge of little damage of which some might have been there. They informed not correctly about the deductible sum. Good quality car though.

We got the car dirty and my sister made pictures before. When we brought back the car, they insisted, after a long inspection, some (light) scratched which they said, where not there before. They did not want to get in discussion or look properly at the pictures we made at the start of the rental. They where very impolite. After they charged us 450€! For what? The rental was cheap but do not go for it. They make their money by charging damage.

Te encuentran arañazos por 400 € + gestión + impuestos que no estaban al devolver el vehículo, la sorpresa llega cuando vuelves a casa. son los mismos que autosmenorca.
