Absolute scam and extortion tactics – Avoid at all costs!

Do not waste your money or risk your academic deadlines with Oxford ELLT. Their entire platform is designed to extort extra money from applicants.

During my test (OIDY: 152772), their broken system repeatedly crashed and arbitrarily reset my completed sections, forcing me to retake them. Because of their technical delays and deliberate slow responses, my license was about to expire, and their portal artificially restricted my scheduling options to under 24 hours—automatically forcing an unauthorized "Express" fee of £80.00 just to finish the test.

When I complained, customer support (Hyein) used absurd excuses, blamed my internet connection, and refused a refund. Just like other victims have reported here, they block your test, ignore support requests, and demand more money.

I have already filed formal fraud disputes with my bank and consumer protection authorities. This is a predatory scam operation. Stay away!

Stop asking for more fees and start delivering results! Two tests withheld and zero transparency. I’ve appealed twice, but all I get is a demand for more money. This is not the standard of a reputable institution. Resolve my case immediately!

The test was blocked during the writing test and the company failed to respond or unblock the final speaking test, despite repeated requests for assistance. I've requested chargeback from my bank - this is a scam.

My test got locked and i had to email their support. Their support hasnt replied or unlocked the test in a week. Ended up booking from another provider because my deadline is approaching.
