I like the weight of the fine merino socks. However, I do not like the elastic top. I would prefer a soft top.
I find elastic uncomfortable. I have to cut it off every pair of socks I buy!

I ordered from the EU, and on the website it said there would be no customs fees. However, I had to pay about 40 eur worth of customs fees. Extremely confusing communications wise, and ended up being quite expensive socks. EDIT: issue was quickly resolved, thanks!

These socks are so comfortable I don’t want to take them off.

I cycle through the winter and cold toes are not pleasant. I’m not a Lycra clad, clipped in, bike shoes that you can’t walk in cyclist; normal clothes and flat pedals for me. Tried various layers of synthetic socks until I nearly can’t get my Converse boots (I’ve got wide feet) on. Got a couple of pairs of mohair medium length socks and gave them a whirl. Fab! Warm toes and a happy cycle. I live in Scotland so have to have a waterproof outer sock and the combo works. Don’t do mohair gloves?

The socks are beautiful and they were shipped very quickly. The company is a pleasure to deal with and the packaging and attention to detail is really impressive.

I’m disappointed with the quality of socks purchased from PAIRS.
Both pairs were from the same order and were worn for less than 2 weeks.
Despite minimal use, the socks showed significant fibre breakdown, pilling, thinning and distortion, particularly in the heal and some areas.

Customer service advised that only unworn items could be returned.
While I understand hygiene rules, the issue here is poor durability, not misuse.
I would not repurchase based on this experience.
I’m posting this review to reflect my experience and do not intend to re engage with customer service.

Super quality socks: I knew the merino ones would be toasty warm, and am so pleased that they’re a lovely fine weight too, perfect on their own for out and about in town, and great too over a cotton sock for walkies with the dogs.

Lovely socks, fab colours

Wonderful socks, the most comfortable I have ever worn.
Mine are the bamboo cotton ones which I bought in different bright colours. I particularly like that they are mid calf length and are not overly elasticated. Very good quality too, and have washed well.

Absolutely love my merino socks from Pairs! I ordered a mix of the bold and neutral colours, and they all look amazing in person. The quality is fantastic — super soft, warm, and really well‑priced. I’m a big believer in buying fewer, better things, and these definitely hit the mark. Couldn’t recommend them more!

These are gorgeous socks! Soft and comfortable and a great fit. The colours are lovely and it’s fun to pick a colour to wear each day. Highly recommended.
