Parallel AV Reviews 

I had Parallel AV design a custom TV to replace a Seura 19" in-wall TV (which failed and is no longer available) in my master bathroom vanity. I worked with Allegra at Parallel AV for the design of a backbox that needed to be the exact dimensions of the original TV backbox in order to eliminate any added construction in my original framed opening.

In the final design, the installation was perfect with no framing modifications needed. The Parallel AV TV backbox design was better than the original with 4 key holes and 4 adjustable key studs to align everything. The most difficult part of the installation was the removal of the old TV as it was caulked in with silicone and a tight interference fit!

The only thing to be aware of is that if your installation uses home automation to control the TV with wired IR control, the IR jack in the back of the Parallel TV is a wired IR Pass Through which interfaces with an IR Optical Receiver. It would therefore have to be controlled with a wired Optical IR Emitter (either a blaster nearby or an emitter taped to the receiver) as the "in wall" workaround.

Working with Allegra was a great experience as her patience with all my technical questions were answered promptly by her enginneers. The TV is a modern smart TV design and is high quality. I was also pleasantly surprised with the inclusion of a clever "mouse" remote control which is small and unobtrusive on the bathroom vanity.

If a custom sized TV replacement is needed to eliminate the cost and time to re-frame the site, I highly recommend using Parallel AV for replacement design. The design was approved on 6/3/2026 and delivered 6/26/2026. Installation was competed and tested in 2 hours.

Just remodeled our house and installed Avel TV in our Sauna. Works great. Had slight issue with TV connecting to home network. Called customer service. Spoke with Charles. He was very helpful in resolving my issue. If you need a TV for your Sauna or Steam room, go with this company.

Great store for bathroom TVs. I've never heard of these before. But when they started doing renovations in the new apartment, I saw it in the interior designs. It's a great idea to take a bath and watch a movie. My husband and I chose a small diagonal, and before the renovation we planned a niche so that the connection would not be visible. It’s good that he’s not afraid of water, otherwise there were fears. In general, we are happy with the purchase, now we are enjoying it.

This is my experience was based on buying a TV for my customer to add to their Kitchen Cabinet. I'm in Southern California so it was about 45 minute drive for my company driver to go over to their office in San Diego and pickup a 32" Kitchen Cabinet TV so we can install it in our clients home. After some email exchanges I paid for the unit and had somebody pickup the unit. This thing is rock solid I haven't seen a TV like this anywhere before...heavy with metal casing unlike a lot of cheap plastic stuff out there and I believe they told me that it has Tempered Glass as well. Simple and easy installation with the lift brackets that are sold separately apparently there are a few companies that make lift brackets that were made for heavier cabinet doors. A couple of email exchanges to get the TV settings done for the customer, we are in the Kitchen Cabinet business not electronics, but it was helpful and we quickly got it connected to their home wi-fi as well. I saw they had Mirror TVs which looked intriguing, but we mainly do cabinets. Thanks again to Parallel AV and their team!

A 32’’ AVEL TV made me interested with its LED LCD technology. The fact was that my kitchen needed a real difference to give a fresh new look to its design.
This 2022 Smart Kitchen TV Series TV set turned out to be with the Google Play Store, which allowed to install some of my favorite apps like Angry Birds and messengers like Telegram. Its Tempered Safety Glass Display is the one I wanted to check out while cooking, and it passed the check. The picture is quite clear and I can both work in my apps and watch favorite movies and videos.
What impressed me most is definitely its waterproof ability. Once I spilt a glass of water on it, rather accidentally. First I was overwhelmed with fear, as if it was going to break forever. But in a moment I realized the TV reflected it as if nothing had happened.
For a 20 sq.m. kitchen room the sound quality of 2*5W/8Ohms dynamics makes me feel relaxed. The AVEL TV operation gives an impression that it is going to overcome the law of physics, and I’ll continue using it in 2023.

I have puchased a 27" Smart Mirror from AVEL and had it installed in my bathroom. Since they passed the tests for protection against moisture and resistance to high temperatures. I had no doubts the quality would be enough for my new perfect bathroom. Safely placed besides the bath tab and a few windows, I was first in a doubt if the screen brightness would allow the screen to operate normally in the daytime.
Moisture resistance enhanced by Miracast and Airplay technologies worked out pretty well. Now I can say that it's quite as good for my home videos and TV series. In the evening time it is even better, with the new finely designed LED lights.
Playing streaming video from your smartphone and providing Internet access without connecting additional devices are perfect when I wanted to relax after work in my bath ☺.

Sometimes I used a media player, but what made it perfect is that it fits into the design of the bathroom. The operation is smooth and all my stresses are gone.

Works great in my steam shower!

I purchased an AVS320FS 32" mirror-front TV for my bathroom renovation including a steam shower. The TV arrived quickly and installation instructions were clear. The rough-in bracket made it easy for my contractor to set the size and depth prior to tile install, and we routed the cable umbilical to an access panel in the room behind.

When off it looks great -- a dark-toned mirror. When on, the screen is bright and clearly visible through the glass. It has operated without a problem for the past six months. I would definitely recommend these TVs!

Things to be aware of: the built-in vibration speakers are loud enough for a bathroom without water running, but not enough for steam. (I have the audio channel routed to more powerful waterproof speakers.) Also, the remote control is splashproof but not water/steamproof. I keep it in a zip-top bag to protect it. It also did not ship with a battery due to shipping restrictions, but it is a standard size (CR2032).
