Passion.io’s customer service has been absolutely exceptional. Nellie has been so kind and helpful. I panicked a bit when my app wasn’t up to date. I’m not good with technology and it gives me a bit of anxiety. They made the process easy, went above and beyond to help me and also reassure me. It was the best customer service I’ve received in a long long time. And I’ve had great experiences. I went from a state of panic to feeling like everything was going to be okay. Nellie made my day. Lack of Delivery and Support After $10,000 VIP PLUS Purchase

I purchased the “Passion Plus” program from Passion.io for $10,000. The program was presented as a 90-day service, with a clear commitment that a functional app would be delivered within the first 30 days.

The service began on February 27, 2026. However, during the entire 30-day window, I did not receive consistent support and did not have follow-up meetings with my assigned coordinator. Meetings were canceled, including last-minute cancellations, and communication was inconsistent.

Even after approximately 60 days, we had barely completed a single offer within the app, which is far from what was outlined during onboarding. The level of delivery did not match the expectations set at the time of purchase.

Additionally, I had clearly communicated that I needed to build a 28-day recurring challenge model. I later discovered that the platform’s structure did not easily support this as expected, which created further misalignment between what was sold and what could realistically be implemented.

I made multiple attempts to resolve the situation and requested a refund due to non-performance. While the company acknowledged issues, they did not provide an adequate resolution.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend this service. I have also filed a dispute with my credit card provider and submitted a complaint to the Better Business Bureau.

This is an absolute scam

This is an absolute scam. They took thousands of dollars out of my account without authorization and don't have customer service for you to call. I am a single mom who needed that money and have not been contacted back about any type of refund

Time to cut my losses. Steer clear!

My association with this company has lost me 12 months of my plans, and thousands of dollars. I decided to trust them, and what their salespeople said, and what I received caused me far more stress, than anything I've got to show for my investment - as a matter of fact, I could have got myself to exactly the same place, for free, in a weekend of concerted effort (hindsight is a wonderful thing). If you're considering paying for any of their 'specialised support' Don't. They'll leave you hanging for weeks trying to get an answer, but they still take your money 'as scheduled'. I'm not too proud to admit when I make a mistake, and this one was a doozy, and very costly. Dan is either an out and out liar, or he has lost touch with how the company is actually working because he's heady on success. Either way, it's the people that sign up and pay who suffer. If he genuinely cares, he needs to make some major amends for non-filled promises.

Sneaky False Advertising

Sneaky false advertising. They ran an ad for their app that stated "60% OFF LIFETIME." Any reasonable person would take that to mean you get the app for a LIFETIME at one price. LIFETIME us NOT monthly or yearly.
At the end of one year (I had other priorities and hadn't got to it yet, as I took their offer to mean I paid $1,999 for LIFETIME access)—I received an email that stated I would be charged $297/month for access to the platform. Needless to say, I was shocked. And angered when I was told that the offer I paid for was for ONE YEAR of access, and the yearly renewal (at its 60% off price) would now apply: either another $1,999 or monthly at $297. While I was debating this with them, they continued to charge the $297/month (which was later refunded). I lost my original $1,999 because I wasn't able to begin using it. And if I HAD created an app, they were hosting it, so I would be stuck at $297/month if I wanted access to my app.

This is a total scam. Their policies are NOT based in honestly and integrity. I would NEVER recommend anyone use passion.io to create your app.

To clarify, the plan you signed up for included a discount for your first year, after which your subscription continues on a monthly plan ($297). Our checkout page mentions these details, and this is entirely different from our lifetime access pricing plan.

An active subscription is required for continued access to the app, to create and edit content, to access your users and pricing plans, to get access to iOS/Android app updates and new features, etc.

I used this company for app creation and it went very wrong. Huge money, no delivery on promises.

I used this company for app creation. I signed up for the premium level which means their developers do the app creation and customizations. Simple things were 'impossible', 'waiting for the developers', dead buttons, clients getting thrown out of subscriptions. But they keep taking your money. When I cancelled the contract I felt they really overpromise a 'custom App', while working with a template that no-one in the company knows how to customize. I had to start over with a new developer company, which has delivered in 2 months what this company couldn't do in nearly 2 years. And they cost me thousands of dollars. I kept being told, 'it will be done, just be patient'.

I’ve had a really great experience…

I’ve had a really great experience using Passion.io to build and grow our app. As a small business in the early stages, we needed a platform that was intuitive, reliable, and didn’t require a full development team—and Passion.io delivered on all fronts.

The platform made it incredibly easy to bring our vision to life and create a high-quality app experience for our users without the overwhelm of traditional app development. The interface is user-friendly, and we were able to launch much faster than we would have otherwise.

What really stands out, though, is the level of support from their customer service team. Anytime we’ve had questions or needed guidance, their team has been responsive, helpful, and genuinely invested in making sure we succeed. Good platform for courses, but too expensive to publish apps

Passion.io is a good platform to create and organize online courses. The interface is simple and the app works well for hosting training content.

However, the pricing structure is very expensive if you want to publish your app in the App Store and Google Play. Even with a plan around $200+ per month, you still cannot publish your app to those stores unless you upgrade to much higher plans.

For many independent coaches and creators, this makes it difficult to scale. I think Passion.io should reconsider this limitation because many users paying over $200/month expect basic publishing access to mobile app stores.

Multiple emails and no reply from customer service

I just paid $547/mo (3 month payment) and was charged twice because the website (on my laptop) wasn't responding, so I had to go to my phone to try to process the payment. I've sent multiple emails, and haven't received a single reply, and after reading the other negative reviews, am beginning to believe that this was a mistake. The webinar that Dan presented made it sound like he really cared about making a positive difference in the world with a top notch product, but my experience so far has been "poor customer service" and I'm not the only one to experience this. This appears to be a reoccurring theme for Passion.io. If this were my company, I would correct this fast. I'm a health professional (regenerative medicine specialist) and was really looking forward to creating an app for my business, and speaking with my "Passion Coach" to assist me in the process - but even that, I couldn't figure out how to schedule an appointment since it didn't appear after paying and signing up - like Dan said it would during his webinar, which made everything sound so easy, and enjoyable. So far, it hasn't been, and they owe me $547 for a double-charge. Also, their phone app hasn't been easy to login and navigate - I'm on my laptop and phone throughout the day, and haven't run into these issues with any other app. There is a lot of room for improvement that I've seen in just 2 days with this company. Please respond to my emails or call me at 520-370-6044. First step is I need $547 refunded to my account. Thank you, Timothy Marshall

Money from whatever this is has been taken from my bank account. I have never even heard of this or signed up for it.
I am disputing this with my bank but seems impossible to find a way to cancel by looking online, considering I don't have a login and don't plan to make a login.
All I will say is be careful

Rebuilding Trust Through Real Conversation

I want to write this review honestly.
I originally joined Passion.io in October 2024 after doing extensive due diligence. I’m building a long-term wellness platform focused on helping the global back pain population, so choosing the right tech partner was a serious strategic decision for me.
Pre-Christmas, I became concerned about package changes, feature shifts, and pricing structures. As a long-term builder, stability matters hugely to me, and I lost confidence for a while. I paused development because I needed clarity before investing further time and energy.
This week, I spoke directly with Jarret.
He immediately made space for the conversation, showed up prepared, listened properly, and worked with me toward a fair resolution, and gave me the long-term security I needed.
