Pathway Eleven is an online 11 plus preparation course for children in Year 3, Year 4 and Year 5, built for families preparing for the West Midlands grammar school tests: the Birmingham consortium test used by the King Edward VI schools, and the 11 plus tests for Walsall, Wolverhampton, Warwickshire, Shropshire and Telford. The practice follows the published format of the West Midlands test, with five-option answers and a separate answer sheet. Pathway Eleven is independent of GL Assessment and of every school and council named on our site. Each day your child opens the app and finds one task chosen for them. A short starting assessment finds where they are, and the daily 11 plus revision plan then keeps the work balanced across maths, English, verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning, giving more time to the skills that need it as the evidence builds up. Alongside daily practice there is guided teaching for the question types children find hard, timed 11 plus practice in the real format, and from Year 4 full 11 plus mock exams sat under exam conditions. Every question is written in house and reviewed and approved by a qualified teacher before it is released. If a question ever looks wrong, a report button removes it from your child's progress straight away. Parents get their own area behind a PIN showing what is improving, what needs attention and how the last mock paper went. There is no advertising, no messaging and no public profile, and children never see a score presented as an official result. The first week is free. After that it is £49 a month, and you can cancel at any time from the parent area. Full mock papers are part of full membership from Year 4.
