PeachDish 

I had Home Chef for about 2 years and decided to try different alternatives. So I joined Peach dish for 4 weeks now. I have to say that I remained unimpressed over the 12 meals purchased. Meals are balanced and produce is fresh but limited. More than a few recipes were flavorless and blunt. Proteins portions are quite small, which I don’t mind. Peach Dish needs better chefs and a greater variety of ingrediens. Also needs a better packing system since it’s not that apparent what bag goes with which protein. If I’m going to cook I want to go WOW! It didn’t happen.

I live far away from my folks and wanted to treat them to some good meals for a birthday week I could not be present for. The first two meals went really well, but I was super-disappointed that the third, a frittata, was delivered with all eggs broken and damaged veggies. My mom is a good sport and supplied her own eggs while making do with the veggies but that was NOT the experience I had paid for and looked forward to.

I contacted Peachdish and thought they could at least resend the meal, but did not even receive a response.

Bummer.

Some of the dishes were missing instructional steps but otherwise its been a nice treat so far.

The meal was easy to prep and quite delicious. The Apple Crunch was much more than enough for four people! Delicious.

First time using a "meal delivery service" (not sure I'd use that term myself). As a fairly good home cook, I was impressed with the quality of the ingredients, the well organized and simple menu cards, and the whole ordering/shipping/receiving experience.

The shipments arrive cold (or frozen), which is great in Florida when the UPS truck is an oven and our packages bake on the truck for many hours.

We've tried several menu items and all but one were terrific, the other was nice and we'll just make a tweak if we do it again.

We like the ability to skip a week, or augment our order with items from the Market. Most of the meals we've received included things that might be hard to source locally - baby Kale, partially deboned quail, pastured pork, etc. Some of the recipes we'll save and do again with our own ingredients, but the ability to not have to go shopping for everything is part of the convenience and worth the cost. And some ingredients taste way better than mass-produced options.

We're impressed and will continue to use PeachDish to supplement our weekly home-cooked meals.

I LOVE this service. We did Hello Fresh for about a year and got so sick of the basic ingredients (constant potatoes) and recipes, that we had to try something new. My only criticism is that the prep times are often at least double what they say on the recipe card, so know that every meal will take at least 30 mins to prep (unless I'm just a super slow chopper?), not including cook time. DELICIOUS food, though, and I highly recommend.

Peach Dish is my favorite meal subscription service. I have loved all the meals I've made through them.

The food was great, but the quantity and price caused me to stop ordering.

Good, too expensive

To be honest, you need more meal variety. Although Kevin Clark's Comfy Chicken is great, it is always on your menu. The entire month of July you had bratwurst meals. I can easily and quickly pop into a local grocery store and get organic hot dogs and bratwursts. You had a low country boil meal (without crab) on your menu for weeks too. I'm looking for variety, flavor and something more advanced or beyond what I already make for dinner.

My husband and I have been ordering from PeachDish for approximately two months. I can honestly say that most have been absolutely delicious! Only a couple of meals have we decided we would not order again, more because of personal taste preference, no fault of PeachDish. The produce is fresh and the meal is well insulated, well packaged and recipes are easy to follow. We started for convenience, but what has surprised me has that it has gotten us out of our rut of preparing the same old things, and even taught me new and innovative ways of cooking. We love PeachDish, and I have already recommended it to many friends and family!!

Each PeachDish order came exactly as ordered. All ingredients were exact and there were even surprise gifts in some orders (ie. chocolate, mints, cookies, etc). All ingredients came fresh and well packaged. Typically, I order two portions of each meal, which is more than plentiful for dinner for two and then packing a lunchbox for the next day.

I truly appreciate the ability to experiment with Southern-inspired dishes and avoid the guesswork of in-store grocery shopping. So far, I have realized a savings since I don't have to grocery shop for meat or poultry. I have found that it's much easier to supplement the ordered meal with additional veggies.

Home delivery varied during the time of day; perhaps due to my location on the service route, I usually get it delivered late in the day. So after observing this trend the first couple of weeks, I increased my order to provide more variety and availability to ensure that I could have a meal ready without need to wait for a delivery.

We subscribe to two meal services and have found Peach Dish to be more creative although a bit more expensive. They capture the southern cooking experience quite well.

So far so good. I like that PeachDish offers food that I will actually eat.

PeachDish is more expensive than other meal home delivery services but the food, packaging and customer service are all top notch. Highly recommend...
