Lauren provided excellent service from start to finish: telephoned us back when she said she would, walked us through the full process and was very patient when we suffered from bad telephone reception.

I recently used Pegasus to fund my campervan conversion and the service was exceptional. George and Fran were fantastic. Both were responsive, helpful and professional. They answered all queries and were genuinely invested in making the process as stress-free as possible to the extent that they liaised with the dealer for me for updates. There was no pressure at any time, just straightforward advice re the options.

Overall, I have had a very good experience with Pegasus. On applying for the balance of a loan for our first foray into Motorhome ownership, I was introduced to Fran who asked a few questions, nothing more intrusive than if I was applying direct and filling in a form myself, and she set the process in motion. A couple of hours later, we had an approved loan offer and away we went. To be fair, I thought the rate was a touch higher than I was expecting given my excellent rating, not excessively so, just a percent or so over but it was a solid approval. I made some tentative enquiries myself prior to engaging with Pegasus but cheaper personal loan rates were only available up to £20k and even though we had a sizeable deposit, we needed a little more than that but we accepted it knowing we won't need to go full term with the loan anyway and will be settled in just a couple of years saving a tump of interest. I had already asked if overpayments were possble and Fran said that our lender does accept overpayments without penalty, so that info was a great help in the decision making. Fran also kept us informed at every step with texts, calls and emails. Now its all completed, we have taken delivery of our lovely Motorhome. Thank you Fran and Pegasus👍.

Pegasus is a great Company to deal with, they strive to find the best solution for your needs, we were lucky to have dealt with George Butler who dealt with us from start to finish keeping us informed along the way as to what was happening when purchasing our Caravan. All went smoothly and we would definitely deal with this Company again. Thanks George.

They’re obsessed with whether you own a house, not whether you can afford or secure the loan properly. Their claims of “flexibility” are just marketing fluff—they declined me for a liveaboard boat despite good credit and zero debt. Their actual model caters only to property-backed clients. Honestly, you’d have better luck borrowing from a stranger on the dock.

And to top it off, they sent me promotional emails after declining my application. Utterly tone-deaf. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone outside the homeownership club.

Have to say it did not feel like i was applying for finance. From start to finish Lauren was so lovely very professional and made the experience so effortless.
Lauren kept us upto date at every stage which was amazing as I then had the confidence in her so I even forgot I was applying where before I have been anxious with not know what is going on with other companies.
