2008 Ford Crown Victoria P71 Police Interceptor 4.6l. Factory dual exhaust which I removed factory muffler and installed 2 FlowMaster single chamber mufflers along with a K&N filter in factory box( since that truely pulls cold air from outside engine compartment). These vehicles come from Ford with high performance tweaks already. I installed the Stage 1 Performance Chip and within about 150 miles I noticed much crisper throttle response and firmer shifting! Along with an Awesome WOT!! Ive tried other performance chips and IAT splice in chips but nothing compares to this simple plug and play chip, best $100 you can spend to "wake up" this 4.6l ! I just upgraded to the Stage 2 Chip and will post a review after a few miles. I am a gear head and have been wrenching for 40 yrs. Living in California I just wanted this car to get out of its own way and Performance Chip answers that problem. I do own and build hot rods/muscle cars. This P71 is a shop car/parts runner.

Installed on 2019 Mustang Bullitt. At first it wasn't really noticeable. Pulled it out for 1st service, reinstalled it afterwards. The second programming was noticeable.

I plugged in the device prior to my last road trip, about 1600 miles. Not only did I get the extra 3mpg, but the added horsepower was enough to help the truck go over hills that in the past several years I would have had to take the truck out of OD. Thyis trip the truck went over the mountains with very little strain on the engine without taking it out of OD. I saved enough on gas this one trip to pay for the devive. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
I havent noticed that much mpg gain in city driving, but it is still a little better than before. I can still feel the extra hp, which is nice, but not needed as much as on the freeway since I take a lot of road trips.

Well people like they advertise that it is no gimmick, well it's not I got a stage two for my 2014 Silverado and another of the same for my son , he has a beautiful 2011 black SS Camaro that still has under 50.000 miles on it and you can tell the acceleration in both his and mine such a big difference! That is what I like about the chips there is no hesitation anymore and when you are rolling down highway o yea and hit it around other slower traffic big difference. Now as far as gas mileage well I think it is about the same that I was already getting ,but I am very happy with them . I have got two other friends to get them and counting . Alright Smarttune performance chip manufacturer all that I put in this review is true and very happy. I should get a stage three for all the sales I have sent your way lol .

I recently bought a 2019 Mazda CX five signature turbo. I had wondered about chips as mechanics used to do so for a large sum of money. So I bought the stage III thinking what the heck? Came in the mail little plastic box with no instructions… Looked it up online and found my OBD port plugged it in I honestly cannot believe a little plastic box like this can do such a wonders on a already good engine. I Saw results immediately and I would say 30 to 40% more power, low end is absolutely scary it is so different and also made a difference over 60 miles an hour when hitting the accelerator. The new turbo Mazda engine reportedly was 6.20 to 60 time. I have consistently clocked in under 4.00. I don’t know if it is just a match for this engine but the gym looks like having a second engine under the hood. I have been having fun playing around with it and smoking other SUVs. If you have a turbo and it already has good torque in the lower end of this performance chip is absolutely scary. I had a TwinTurbo Porsche and AMC Mercedes and this little old Mazda with the chip will go head to head from 0 to 60. From a start in sports gear it would go quicker than these two cars. All of this to say I wanted to leave a review as I was not expecting this and it’s like a new car… Now has my curiosity and I’m ordering cool air intake and piping and performance exhaust mufflers. Not bad for the cost. The boots and filter are cheap clearly however they all work and fit very well and I’ve had zero issues :)

Cant go wrong for the price. Truck runs alot smoother and better throttle response and quicker. Not radical changes but just enough to make a difference

Great product that performs as specified.

I think the product is great. Can already tell a significant difference. Would've given 5 stars if they had given more instructions. Ex. Do I need to keep it plugged in all the time? When I unplug it do I lose everything it's done and have to start over. Other than that I'm extremely pleased.

I have noticed a 1.5 MPG gain in town and 2.5 MPG gain on the highway. Throttle response is very good.

There is a noticeable increase in power from lower rpm's. Gets up to highway speeds faster as well. It also got rid of most of the power dip and jerking after shifting from first gear. Runs much smoother with more linear power. I am very happy with the results so far. Don't buy the cheap fakes! They do nothing!

I been a Master AutoTruck Tech for 40 plus years in Dealerships. I have seen lots of scams and snake oils. I have a 2018 Kia OptimaS GDI. The tailpipe always get caked with thick black soot and oil thinned from gas it ran way too rich fuel curves but OEM advise they are correct. I bought a Stage 1 chip and after running it i just had too advise this really helped before mileage in town was Avg 22mpg on Hwy 32 mpg on good Day. Now in town Ave 38mpg and Hwy 43 mpg. The tailpipe is clean no soot idles smooth and dead spot on Acell from stops gone great power curve now. Oil now has less raw fuel that has always been concerns with GDI engines. I had a engine knock from over fueled and high compression and timing on Acell now its gone. Cant believe i found a chip that really helped. I also found the CRC valve and Turbo cleaner really cleans intake valves .
