Persimmon Homes
Persimmon Homes
I am extremely disappointed with Persimmon Homes and the working environment being created on our development.
Builders working on the site have been playing music at an excessive volume, which is particularly disruptive for residents who are working from home. More concerning, the music has repeatedly contained the N-word, which is deeply offensive and completely inappropriate, especially on a street where residents include people from Black backgrounds.
I find it unacceptable that residents should have to listen to repeated racist language coming from a building site while trying to work and live peacefully in their homes.
I have raised my concerns because I believe Persimmon Homes has a responsibility to ensure that contractors working on its developments behave respectfully towards residents and maintain appropriate standards of conduct.
This is not simply a complaint about noise. It is about the repeated broadcasting of offensive racial language in a residential community and the impact this has on residents.
I would expect Persimmon Homes to take this complaint seriously, investigate what has happened, speak to the contractors involved and ensure that this behaviour does not continue.
