I tried to return two items last year…

I tried to return two items last year and kept emailing on a regular basis. The problem being that it is impossible to obtain a Free Return Label. I was told to return to a holding place in the UK and then the items would be passed on to America where they will be sorting out Refunds. I would think by now there must be a queue waiting for Refunds. I paid £14 Special Delivery to return to the UK holding place but the value of the items was enough to warrant the Insurance on the contents. It was worth the £14 since today my Refund was paid to my PayPal Account. Special Delivery enables you to see when they've signed that they have received the return. Obtain the address of the holding Warehouse because they paid the postage to America. After months I felt the £14 was worth spending for peace of mind.

Avoid this company

I have been a customer of Peruvian Connection for 20 years and received good service during that time. My recent order delivered 23 March 2026 was unsuitable, inferior fabric and poor fit.

Immediately started the online returns process, only to be told the label printing function was down. I’m still. waiting. Tried the phone numbers as given on website and these are unavailable. Any ideas on how to start legal action welcome.

AVOID AVOID AVOID

I am furious with myself. I should have read the reviews before I bought from this company. I bought a badly designed yet expensive jacket in November and I too am getting the same incomprehensible garbage about systems problems. They are now not answering my emails at all despite their promise made weeks ago that the system should by up and running soon. AVOID. I am now going to raise it with Your Money Matters in The Times. I will also write to You and Yours on Radio 4. I am not on 'X' but if anyone else reading this and suffering too please write a poor review there - apparently it does shame them into action. I cannot afford to lose hundreds of pounds and I am gutted. ****DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY ****

I have been a valued customer for over 20 years but I will never purchase from this company again. I tried to raise a return over 7 weeks ago and the company said that their returns portal was down and would inform me as soon as it was up and running. I have emailed 3 times and spoken to Peruvian Connection twice and they keep telling me the problem is not fixed yet. They refuse to refund until they have received the goods. I just do not believe in 2025/26 that they can't get this fixed. All I can say is they must have huge backlog of returns but they don't seem to be in a hurry to fix the problem....thats of course this is the truth !!!!!

Many points deducted

Many points deducted. I bought a knitted coat worth €600, but unfortunately, it kept stretching while I was wearing it and now reaches my ankles. They only offered me a €25 store voucher as compensation. For a coat I won't be able to wear much longer because it's likely to continue stretching, this is not a fair compensation for me as a customer. Points are also deducted for this poor online shop, which doesn't display up-to-date information.

Punitive shipping policy

I place a $179 pair of leather gloves in my cart and when I went to check out I discovered that Peruvian Connection's shipping policy is based on how much you spend, not a flat rate. It is only when one reaches $350 that shipping is free. Until you reach that threshold, you pay additional charges the more you spend.To me, companies that do this, penalize people for spending more money. In this case, the gloves would ship at $16.95. I called the company to express my thoughts on this policy, but felt I was met w/indifference. I promptly emptied my cart and removed myself from their mailing list. I am done shopping here. That Decades coat I've been eyeing for some time will just be a memory. Good bye, Peruvian Connection.

have been waiting about 3 months for my refund of almost £700. Initially I was 'blocked' from returning the items, the excuse being their systems were not working. I persisted with my complaint and eventually was told I could return the items, at my own cost, to the UK hub who would forward them to the USA. I have Royal Mail tracking evidence that my package was delivered in the UK several weeks' ago yet still no refund. I have been in regular communication with them and each time was given the same 'system' excuse, but my patience is now gone. It has caused me massive stress and made me ill. I am now accruing interest on a debt that should have been paid off months' ago yet they don't seem to care. I am escalating the matter to my bank. I cannot recommend this company at all. It's a shame because their goods are great quality. They have lost a good customer.

This company does not refund when you send items back.

I ordered a dress four months ago. It wasn’t suitable so I returned it for a refund. I have never received a refund, despite calling Peruvian Connection three times. The dress was £250, so not an insubstantial amount. They have received the dress back but just don’t seem to be able to return my money to me. It’s a shame, as I have ordered from this company before.
I would strongly recommend that you do not order from Peruvian Connection, unless you want to loose your money.

I've been waiting over 10 weeks now for…

I've been waiting over 10 weeks now for a significant refund for item they've confirmed they've received back. Evasive and no confirmation of when I'll actually receive my money back. I don't want to hear any more excuses about a systems upgrade causing repayment delays. I have reported this company's misconduct to the FTC and the to Trading Standards in the UK. Perhaps they can stop others being ripped off.

BUYER BEWARE

BUYER BEWARE! THIS COMPANY WILL DEFRAUD YOU. I ordered two items from this company and they were too large and it took months and many phone calls and emails to try to get a refund. I finally sent them the draft of a small claims court complaint, and they sent me a letter of promising me they would settle it. That of course, was just another lie. They finally, after four months, refunded my card for far less than what I paid to purchase the product, and far less than what I claimed in my small claims demand letter. I buy a lot of products online and I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE DONE BUSINESS WITH SUCH A DISHONEST DECEPTIVE COMPANY. AVOID THEM AT ALL COST. The company is showing serious signs of filing bankruptcy.
They are a small company working out of a barn in Tonganoxie, Kansas. There representatives are aggressively dishonest and rude.

Hopleess!

Honestly, hopeless!! Am still trying to buy a sweater but they do not want to sell... Have tried perfectly good cards, one credit and one debit but 'something has gone wrong' every time.

"Above and beyond" customer service

I was very pleasantly surprised with the level of customer service Brandi provided. I neglected to enter a discount code when buying a dress for my wife. When I spoke with Brandi she said she would research the purchase and get back with me. I was not hopeful I would ever hear back but within 15 minutes she emailed me and told me there was a sale going on and she gave me an even better discount than I would have had. She went above and beyond to save me money. She did a lot to build up brand loyalty in Peruvian Connection

I have to give three stars because the…

I have to give three stars because the pants I've purchased along with a couple of tops have been ok.
However, I go along with several of the reviews about the pilling. Unfortunately I had purchased several of the wool items at the same time or within a year of each other. I had worn the tunics maybe three times, put them away for the summer, only to find that while hanging in storage they had all begun to pill. Such a shame.

I used to rely on Peruvian Connection for the go to quality items. I purchased a gorgeous sheath for my daughters wedding in 2012. I still have it and it still looks good. But, all of the wool pieces are looking rather tacky. The popular woman's consignment store here in Omaha won't take the wool items I've taken in. I'm not sure I should even donate them.
