24 hour service but not immediate
I called Pest UK as it was a Sunday afternoon and they advertised a 24 hour service which I assumed meant they would come immediately. I explained the issue (scratching from my chimney) and they advised me that someone would come around the following day (which they did). I cannot fault the service, they were friendly and professional and removed the animal (a bird) without any problems but I do think that if they had come around sooner the animal might still be alive.

Thank you for the kind words about our technician, and I'm sorry there was confusion over our 24-hour service. You raise a fair point our 24-hour response means we aim to attend within 24 hours rather than immediately, and we appreciate that wording can read differently when you're dealing with something distressing on a Sunday afternoon. It's helpful feedback, and something we'll bear in mind in how we explain it.
I'm genuinely sorry to hear the bird didn't survive that's an upsetting outcome, and I completely understand why you'd wonder whether a sooner visit might have made a difference. Please know it would weigh on us too.
I'm glad that, once our technician attended, you found him friendly and professional and that the situation was resolved without further trouble. Thank you for taking the time to share such a balanced review, and we're here should you ever need us again.
