Pete Tong DJ Academy Reviews

The contest, The learning, the people, all is amazing

contagiously cool ! Content is cool, Crew and community also top shelf. It's a very pleasant way of learning oneself into the industry

I Am having a great time learning many secrets of electronic music production, mixing and mastering.
After years of producing music I am finally achieving the results I wanted since I took this road years ago.

It's a fantastic and incredibly enriching experience with plenty of opportunities and high-quality tutors and teachers. The recently developed DJ and production courses are very informative and professional. I highly recommend this training to all young DJs and producers who want to launch their careers in the music industry. Thank you PTDJA for this wonderful adventure.

First, the platform runs smoothly. There are no glitches. Apart from this, there are clear instructions and a roadmap on how to consume the information before you get started, and you don’t get lost. The lessons are also very clear and easy to follow. I have a background already in music production but I have picked up a lot of information from the course that I couldn’t have come across elsewhere. I also see that the school is coming up with ways to help students with moving forward in their actual career, not just learning the skills. Highly recommended!!

Just awesome. Surgically precise information & I couldn't be more thrilled with the lineup of 'old' faces from my record box (rekordbox) and a few new ones.

Im having fun doing what I love & this is helping me do it more often haha.

Thanks!

I've received incredible knowledge and still keep learning from the bests.

I don’t like structure of the dj and production lessons
I find it very boring

Very good experience

Been focusing more on the production course, ive been producing since 2020, and think the method is very good!

I love how they've brought so much together under one platform over the last few years. The continuous updates, the growing community, the various education pieces - it's quite awesome!

It has been an incredible journey for me. The community is amazing. One of the first people I connected with used to go to Vinyl in NYC, as I did. It was an instant friendship. The teachers are kind. They know how to give criticism while being gentle about it. The opportunities for exposure are amazing. All in all, it is GREAT and totally affordable. I think the initiative to make the scene more robust and connected between students and DJs who have been working for many years is very valuable. I sincerely appreciate that and thank you for it.

Pete Tong Academy has been a very important step into my DJ and producing career, by giving me experience and skills industry needs so far. Highly recomended!

It's been great to do the Pete Tong DJ Academy for the last couple of years. I started DJing when I was 10, so knew quite a bit, but even going through the course from the start was worth it, and the competitions really helped lift my game 🙌

You get insight from DJs so few have a chance to sit down with 1 on 1. The wealth of knowledge is vast, and I bet it just scratches the surface. I cannot wait for them to add more the courses in the future. A proper investment.

As a person who intends on learning every day until I leave this planet, and as an electronic musician, I have seen everything under the sun by way of people who want to feed your ego as an “artist” - or make you feel unworthy - so that you will purchase their services and fulfill your destiny as the GOAT 🐐 of whatever your thing happens to be.

In the highly poseur-adjacent world of clubbing and DJs there are TONS of con artists. PTDJA, on the contrary, are ethical and professional.

Compared to their competitors in the same segment that I know of, (and I know of many), as well as a plethora of indirect competitors, they are reasonably priced, and reasonable in their promises to you.

What you learn quickly as a musician or aspiring artist is that nobody is going to do anything for you. If you want something, you have to rely on yourself. There are no shortcuts. There are no favors or rewards for a being good person. Nobody cares. You are a number.

Considering my generally cynical outlook I have been impressed with my limited experience at PTDJA. Limited because when I signed up I had little interest in being a DJ, specifically. I haven’t completed too much of the course work. As a live electronic musician I was curious and simply wanted to know more.

They have never held that against me. I have always felt included, to the extent I made myself available, and encouraged to participate more. Even after I had paid and my course ended, the relationships continued and the possibility to participate in many of their activities was continued as a courtesy, which was that was highly appreciated.

The course work is conducted by some of the biggest names in the business. Pete Tong is a legend of course. (Have you seen the movie? Great movie 🍿 but I digress.

They are the real deal. Will they make you a superstar DJ/producer? No. You will need to do that, if that’s what you want.

You also need to learn how you learn, which is not a criticism of PTDJA, just practical advice. If you know what you know, and know what you don’t, you can get a lot out of this experience.

They will provide you with a very fair deal on tools in video courses and through in-person feedback. They conduct themselves like the serious, good faith operators that they are.

They do this respectfully and without leveraging anyone’s hopes and dreams in a twisted way just to make a quick buck, which you see a lot in this market vertical. Best of luck to them. With thanks 🙏🏽 Sean Jones / Mixmastermelonhead / 2LuzCruz Productions.

I definitely benefit from
The whole Pete tong. I don’t utilize it as much but it’s a great tool to use and learn from.
The networking on here is amazing
