I’ve had six dogs now over a thankfully long lifetime. Buried five but this time decided on a cremation.
I feel so lucky I found Pets at Peace!
Jeanne and Stephen are genuine, kind, caring, compassionate and accommodating.
I hadn’t thought much about what would happen or how the process would feel…… I suggest you don’t rush it, just go with the flow: they have a good way to ease your grief.
Their setup is truly delightful, be prepared to give them the time to let them show you.

Words cannot describe the emotions felt when losing our dog. Our Shih Tzu Doris was suddenly taken ill and passed at the vets whilst we were holidaying in the Lakes, we were recommended Pets at Peace to look after her by a friend. We had to return home to Derby and felt awful for leaving her so far away. I left a message and they called back shortly afterwards. They were calm, compassionate and very caring and explained the whole process. They collected her from the vets and looked after her as if she was of their own. They sent us updates and photos of her in their memory room with candles and rainbows. It was so reassuring to know she wasn't just a number. As we were limited on the days we could return to collect her they opened especially for us on Sunday afternoon which was such a kind gesture of them. We placed a named paw on their memorial tree and a photo placed in their memory wall. We were gifted a framed paw print, a hanging plaque and some of her precious fur. We decided on a scatter tube so she can be allowed her to run free on her favourite beach in Seascale. Jeanne and Stephen...thankyou so much, Richard & Laura

Jeanne and Stephen make you feel so welcome. You have the time to say goodbye to your beloved pet. Its a very personal experience and it certainly made an awful day so much more bearable. I highly recommend their services. It is far and away better than the vets service. (PCS) it is an individual cremation on site. I was very pleased to have my pet back with me the same day he was pts. Their care and consideration to both myself and my pet was so very caring the experience could not be bettered. Excellent and highly recommended. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I wouldn't use any other service now.

This is the most amazing company I have ever dealt with for my lovely friend that I lost last week. I have had a good few individual cremations for my dogs but this service was exceptional. From the moment I contacted them, they made themselves available when I needed and were so sympathetic and kind with dealing with my baby. They offer a quick turnaround which you want and an amazing area to visit your pet, exceptional and the lovely package you receive with the ashes is so special I can’t thank them enough x
