Brilliant training (especially for beginners)
I had a fantastic experience completing my CBT with Phoenix Motorcycle Training and would highly recommend them.
The instructor (Sam) was incredibly patient throughout the day, taking the time to make sure everyone was comfortable and progressing at their own pace. The instructions were always clear and easy to follow and whenever I got stuck or didn't fully understand something, the explanations were really helpful and never rushed.
A particular shout-out to Sam, who was brilliant during the training and on-road ride. Her calm approach, clear guidance and focus on safety gave me confidence and made the road ride an enjoyable and valuable learning experience and I had a lot to learn in one day. Definitely memorable!
What I particularly appreciated was that there was plenty of opportunity to assess, together with Sam, whether I was genuinely ready to move on to the next stage. There was no pressure and that focus on safety and readiness felt really important and that it was taken seriously.
Overall, it was such a good day and a great combination of professional/ supportive/ enjoyable and confidence-building from start to finish.

Not something I usually do
Not something I usually do, but on this occasion I felt compelled to leave a review.
Everyone I came into contact with at Phoenix Motorcycle Training Chippenham, have been incredibly helpful from start to finish. From my very first phone call, where the whole process was clearly explained, to booking my DAS course for me, the service has been outstanding.
I would also like to make a special mention to my amazing instructor, Jason Sellars, who is an all round great guy. As someone who had never ridden a motorbike on the road before, Jason's clear explanations, guidance, and instructions instantly made me feel relaxed and comfortable. His passion and enthusiasm for motorcycling and road safety was clear to see throughout the three days I spent training with him and

Brilliant experience doing my DAS course with phoenix motorcycle training Chippenham,
All the staff were spot on and made the course enjoyable throughout,
I would definitely recommend coming here for all your motorcycle training from your cbt right up to your DAS (full bike license)

Completed my CBT training with Martin in the Chippenham Centre. He was a great trainer and gave clear easy to follow instructions.

Very disappointed
Very disappointed . Instructor was very nice but on the end said that was a little missing small thing and not get through , waste of my money , of course offering more hours to buy building more confidence on the road other thing is was feeling like passing full license not a CBT .

First of all, many thanks for taking the time to review Phoenix. I am glad you felt the instructor was good and sorry it has taken you more time to reach a safe standard than 1 day. As discussed on the day, you made good progress in the training area and you went out on the road for the minimum of two hours. This is where your safety issues were discussed after you made some potentially dangerous mistakes in last half hour. The road ride was also extended to see if these could be rectified to a standard that we consider you can continue your learning unaccompanied, which, in the opinion of the instructor, would require some additional Highway Code knowledge before returning to complete another 2 hour road ride.
We need to be confident at at the end of the training, you are safe to continue your learning unaccompanied. We simply do not issue DL196 certificates if we feel that your safety is going to be compromised in any way. We look forward to you returning after some home study, to complete in the near future
Perfect Experience
I was the first person to be trained at their Reading location, and thanks to my instructor Jon it was a perfect experience! He was patient, encouraging and hilarious to train with. Passing my CBT worried me at first but with his help I felt reassured and confident. I’ve been driving for a bit now, confident on the road. I used Phoenix’s customer service a couple times and was also perfect throughout. All around great company to train with, will be coming back for more!
