Very easy firm to work with. I had an issue with software and they immediately responded with suggestions to fix it and their suggestion did, indeed, fix the issue. They’re feedback on trading their Merit account was very helpful and I implemented several of their suggestions.

Phoenix Trader is great because of their platform offerings, evaluation offerings, and new groundbreaking innovations. They offer QT which is hands down the best platform for futures. Their eval models, and their new merit models allow for good traders to find the spotlight, not the other way around. Merit really is for traders, by traders and Phoenix brings the game to set, match.

Experience has been great since the beginning of my journey with Phoenix Trader Funding. Excellent customer service and quick to respond to our concerns or questions. A company that genuinely cares for the trading community.

I have been trading with Phoenix Trader Funding for seven months now, quiet great firm, the platform condition is great and prices are fair. The support on discord are helpful especially if you are struggling with futures platforms as you migrate from CFD, they are readily available help and walk you through the process. kudos.

Hi, I purchased a merit account and received a response email asking for more information. Now I'm waiting for this response. As feedback, I waited more than 1 month to receive this email with questions about my operations.

Conclusion: The exam fees are relatively high, the withdrawal rules are overly strict, and the overall experience was poor. I do not recommend using this service.

For Merit Accounts, if you fail the exam once, there is no need to purchase it again.

After meeting the account requirements, the review process took over a week. Although email responses were prompt, the reply claimed an error rate of only 0.5%, and I happened to be part of that unlucky 0.5%. This gave the impression of shirking responsibility. Additionally, the backend system’s evaluation process felt outdated.

Regarding the exam, the final review failed because of holding positions overnight. However, identifying which specific trade violated the overnight rule required checking the official Discord server myself, which completely eroded trust.

The FAQ does mention that overnight positions are not allowed, but it doesn’t specify the exact time. Some proprietary firms require positions to be closed 10 minutes before the market closes, while others only require closure by market close. Since I typically trade during my working hours and always close trades at market close, I didn’t want to pursue the matter further. The entire experience was extremely disappointing.

This is not to convince you but to provide a reference for potential buyers.

Regardless of whether it was due to an overnight holding violation, it doesn’t change one fact: Your backend response speed is terrible.

Did it take more than the declared 72 hours for you to review and provide the result after I fulfilled the conditions for passing? Can you deny this?
For standard violations (in my case, overnight holding), your system doesn’t update immediately. Only after achieving the passing conditions will you review and notify us of the reason, wasting a lot of the trader’s time and energy. Can you deny this?

I still have the email stating that the system error rate is only 0.5%. The original text is as follows:

You claim that updating the backend equates to changing the rules. I’ve failed countless times with other companies, and none of them allowed me to keep trading for so long after determining a violation. Usually, violations are immediately flagged as failures. The slowest dashboard I’ve encountered updated the violation result within half a day.

You ask if I’m aware of overnight positions. To deal with your terrible backend, I need to constantly check if I’ve violated any rules. For someone who buys accounts from multiple companies simultaneously, this is a disaster.
Making traders expend a significant amount of additional effort on non-trading matters is inherently inconvenient.

Buyers, think about this: When a prop firm determines that a trader has violated the rules but still allows them to keep trading until fulfilling the passing conditions, only to then declare them ineligible—what a joke!

Regarding Merit Accounts:

"It's that Merit Accounts are limited to 1 per user until another account is bought, so you just cannot buy the account again, regardless of the usefulness."
According to your official response, you acknowledge that Merit Accounts can only be purchased once unless another account is purchased.
I purchased another account specifically to try the Merit Accounts and ended up with this kind of experience.

For those considering whether to purchase from this company, ask yourself these questions:

Is this company’s evaluation account relatively expensive?
Are their payout rules less consistent and harder to comply with?
Does this company’s backend only notify you of violations after you fulfill the passing conditions, wasting your time and energy?
I’m giving 2 stars because I only recommend trying Merit Accounts once. If you fail, do not repurchase other account types just to retry Merit Accounts.
