Having launched our website (artxus.com) on the PhotoDeck platform in January 2021, I recently reflected upon the journey we've taken and how much our website has evolved over the past 5+ years. There is much I could say but let me begin by simply saying thank you PhotoDeck and thank you so much JF Maion.

I couldn't be more pleased with the software and web hosting services you provide. Both page and image load times can be best described in a single word ... Instantaneous! Reliability or uptime can also be described in a single word ... Exceptional! As for features and functionality, they are seamless, intuitive and easy to both use and manage. And then there is pricing which has remained unchanged for several years even when the cost of most items have significantly increased.

As I take my artistic journey to new levels of engagement, I take comfort in knowing PhotoDeck will be there and continue to enable me to provide a professional, high performance and engaging website experience for my audience.

Thanks to you JF for implementing your vision of what software and web hosting services can and should be. On a 5 star scale, I believe PhotoDeck deserves 7 stars! Perhaps the lyrics to Tina Turner's popular song best sums up my sentiments regarding PhotoDeck ... 'You're simply the best, Better than all the rest'.

I tested PhotoDeck extensively and ultimately decided not to continue using the platform.

The main issue for me was email delivery. Several test emails sent from online galleries to different email addresses of my own never arrived. They were neither delivered nor found in any spam folder.

I forwarded this information to PhotoDeck support. Initially, I was told that the messages were being incorrectly classified as spam by the receiving side.

After contacting my mail provider, I was informed that some messages had been rejected due to spam- and reputation-related checks. According to the information provided, the sending servers used by PhotoDeck had reputation issues which increased the spam score of certain messages and could negatively affect deliverability.

However, after providing the technical analysis from my mail provider to PhotoDeck, I did not receive any further response.

The gallery and webshop functionality itself appears well designed and offers useful features. However, reliable delivery of gallery invitations, access credentials and customer communications is business-critical for professional photographers. If clients do not receive these emails, it can quickly lead to unnecessary support requests and lost business opportunities.

For that reason, I can only recommend the platform with reservations and have decided to look for an alternative solution.

I'm a young french photographer, and I was looking for a website which will not need a lot of time to be created. After benchmarking a lot of solutions, I discovered Photodeck, and I've said "it looks great, let's go "!
That was one of the best ideas I got ! It's really easy and quick to get started : I'm a noob in websites, and simply 4-5 hours were needed to create the main structure of pages, galleries, menus and so on...). Menus are logically set up, creation possibilities are both extensive and sufficient, and there are many options for managing all types of orders.
And THE BEST => The support, which is clearly unbeatable ! For all my questions, I got the answer in the 2-3hours after. Really reassuring !
Don't hesitate, do it with PhotoDeck ;)

An excellent platform / tool for publishing and sharing information and photos. Very user-friendly and didactic, almost Lego-like in its simplicity, with a useful translation feature for international distribution.

Have been using Photodeck since 2013. As a small photography company I have found Photodeck to be the best solution for me.
I changed back in 2013 from US based services, as I would preffer to support EU based companies, when possible ;-)

After years of using bespoke websites I am so happy I moved over to the PhotoDeck system. Easy to use, the upload is a dream, literally nothing negative to say and loads of positives.

I’ve been a long-time PhotoDeck user, and I’ve truly come to appreciate their reliability over time. It’s a platform you can genuinely count on.

I’ve also seen the regular improvements made to the site and the admin interface, which has steadily evolved over the years. And most importantly, new features never “break” anything — they always remain fully compatible with older galleries.

That’s extremely reassuring. The last thing you want after a new update is having to go back and fix your old galleries. That simply doesn’t happen here.

La personnalisation de votre site se fait intuitivement et les outils évoluent régulièrement. Si vous avez la moindre question, le SAV vous répond très rapidement.
Un très bel outils pour les photographes pro, je recommande !

J'apprécie particulièrement les grandes possibilités de personnalisation des templates de sites. Pas de fioritures inutiles, mais des fonctionnalités bien vues et complètes, notamment pour les galeries clients.

Photodeck is a gamechanger for multiple reasons. The ability to upload thousands of images across multiple galleries in high resolution is one. The rapid loading galleries is another, the built in AI tagging system saves hours of work too, but the icing on top for me is the intuitive editor that gives you full control over the look and feel of both your galleries and overall website.

PhotoDeck is everything I needed as a working professional. I left Photoshelter after years of disappointment at their lack of mobile functionality and not maintaining updates for photographers in favor of enterprise & DAM... and am SO glad I found PhotoDeck. It's highly customizable, sleek, fulfills every part of my workflow from portfolio, client proofing & delivery galleries, e-comm to sell prints either hands-on or hands-off with drop shipping, and they're constantly working to improve functionality and upgrade services. The tutorials are detailed and helpful, and if you still have questions the customer support team is highly responsive. 10/10 highly recommend!

I can't say enough good about this company.
I have been a PhotoDeck customer for many, many years. Its is a great company with a wonderful product. It makes client file delivery a breeze. The Lightroom plug in simplifies image management across vast catalogs of pictures. The new file upload speeds are insanely fast!
Also, customer service is quick and responsive. I run two sites with my account, the service is easily scalable.
