I've bought 3 of these pillows in the last 5 years, for myself and two other people. We all love our buckwheat pillow and use it every night! We all have the 14" x 20" "Japanese style" size. Each one has had pillow cases that hold up extremely well with daily use. I highly recommend finding linen pillow cases if you a want slightly improved cooling effect. The buckwheat hulls look, feel, and smell clean. They claim the buckwheat is organic, and I view that as a positive because I do not want pesticide residue left on the hulls and then lay my head/face on them for years. The bag they include for storing your extra hulls is also sturdy and it's nice that their logo is on the side so it can be better identified when looking for it in my drawers/storage.

The 14" x 20" works alright for travel, but it can take up a decent amount of space (depending on which luggage/backpack I use, it takes up ~1/4-1/2 the space. I have some large backpacks and a medium-sized suitcase. It would fit with lots of extra room in a larger suitcase.). Next I'm considering getting a travel-sized one for myself and everyone else.

After I started using this style of pillow, I miss it whenever I go without it.

I have no need for any further search - I have found the perfect successor and can confidently recommend these pillows to my patients, friends, and family alike.

I've been using a millet pillow for 30 years and will never go back to any other pillow, no matter the cost. The company I had previously purchased from is no longer in business. As I did my due diligence I discovered PineTales and I am so glad I did. From the ordering process to using their pillow for the first time I was overwhelmed with how wonderful the pillow was. I ordered the small knee pillow and it’s just what I was looking for. I actually bought it to use it under my arm and it’s the perfect size. I have used micro bead pillows for years and they always ripped. Plus, I didn’t like the idea of having that material so close to my face all night every night. Same for memory foam (which is far too hard anyway).

This pillow is lovely. The cover is soft and the filling is adjustable. I love that I can remove the cover to wash it. It is a bit pricey, but the fabric feels like great quality and should last me a very long time!

The best pillow I've ever had. It has great head, neck and shoulder support. Easily adjusted by adding or removing husks or simply moving the husks around for comfort. PineTales customer services is amazing!

Really love your products! This rating didn't reflect your company's doing, but the shipper. I can't stand Lasership, they never deliver to your door. I live in a building and my package was left in the lobby as Lasership always does. This was for a free pillow, so I'm not really stressing it, but maybe consider no longer using them, so frustrating.

I love this pillow. I think I’ve been converted for life. millet husks are soft, light, and so relaxing to listen to as they settle under my ear. great for me as a side sleeper.

I’ve been a fan of buckwheat pillows for quite sometime now and when my old Bucky pillow needed an upgrade, I spent a few days searching for something new and thankfully I found my way here to the PineTales website. This pillow is absolutely lovely, it’s also well made. The magic for me is the small size and soft cozy cover, it cradles my neck perfectly and I drift off to dreamland and sleep deeply and soundly and wake up feeling refreshed! It really is the best pillow Ever!!

This pillow is great for anyone who needs firm, contouring support. It molds perfectly to my neck and doesn't go flat. I also love that the buckwheat is contained in a separate inner case, so I can easily unzip and wash the outer cover without any mess.

Incredible pillow. This is a long-term review after one year use. This pillow has mee sleeping way more soundly. No overheating, sweating or tossing and turning. The buckwheat contours nicely to my head and cradles me whilst i sleep. Love it! Highly recommend!
