Thanks a lot! Keeping the labs hands-on while staying straight to the point is our top priority, so we're really glad it hits the mark for you.
The simulations are a double-edged sword.
The simulations are not true simulations; they're, in effect, copying the cisco CLI interface and each lab demo has a very specific "right or wrong" context window type set of commands that must be entered verbatim. This is, of course, a dramatic step up from non-interactive video trainings, but, it doesn't really answer the *why* the configuration values are set this way. If you start your training with Pingmynetwork and you're not experienced with Cisco command line before, the fact that you're given errors where the real exam command line, or the real world hardware command line wouldn't give you errors might not be a problem, but for me, having already had my CCNA for... 9 years and jumping into the CCNP trainings, the fact that the labs were designed this way feels a bit... disillusioning. I need more practice with the routing labs, 100%, but, at least with the CCNP OSPF labs thus far, it feels like there is no explanation of *why* the commands we are configuring are correct, and being in the industry for 16+ years, the CCNA alone requires you to know what you're doing and why you're doing what you're doing, so the CCNP, you REALLY need to be able to explain what makes what you're doing the right way to solve the problem, and I don't get the sense that labs and the micro-nugget lessons are actually providing that level of info.

Our step-by-step exercises were meant to help people learn the basics without getting stuck, but we know that real practice requires a true playground.

I'm not sure if you've seen them yet, but you can now type commands freely, test your own ideas, and see how the network reacts, just like on real gear.

Amazing site to learn Networking
I love the fact that the website has flashcards to jog your memory each day!. Furthermore, if you're looking to study CCNA without the countless doomscrolling of PDF's and Youtube Videos, i highly recommend giving PingMyNetwork a try. I attempted the trial version, immediately got the subscription.
Think of it this way, if you're familiar with tryhackme and hackthebox, this is basically the Networking version of it. Aside from the lessons, there's also labs you can try out to test your skills.
I would definitely recommend you give it a try! Oh and fyi, this is not a paid review, just coming from someone whom really appreciates what the creators are trying to do. Make CCNA and networking accessible to you :)
