Vodafone charged me 70 pence a minute to call Ireland through Planet Numbers,the call cost me £28,if I had dialled direct from my mobile,it would have been around £6.
Check your mobile provider contracts before using.

Excellent service. Used for calls to Canada from the UK and rates in use match their advertised rates. Easy to top up. Does drop the call after 90 minutes every time, but you can connect back immediately if required so not really an issue. Recommended!

Needed to make an urgent cost-effective call to Spain TO-DAY (SAT 7th) to try and save the life of a rescued animal. Signed up and paid for credit. Called the given access number to be continually told "this number is not accepting calls now"...!?!?!?

No way to speaking to anyone until at least Monday during office hours, by then far too late.

UPDATE MON 9th: Reply received this morning to message we sent to report a fault on SAT 7th. Problem may have been be due to mis-placed digit? Not sure how that happened and now too late to rectify. Sorry, but nearly 48 hours for a fault report reply is not good enough (especially when we had a very urgent need of the "service")

UPDATE MON 9th PM: Refunded quickly, thank you. Raised the star rating from 1 to 2, would have gone to 3 but not being able to contact anyone or receive a timely response to a service fault log keeps it at 2 stars.

I joined up as it was an affordable way to call Australia. My father is in hospital in Brisbane with stage IV Kidney Cancer. I wanted to call him on his mobile in hospital. This was our hour of need. Everytime I called, I could hear my Father but he couldn't hear me. I tried several times and complained to Planet Numbers and received a caring response from one of the Directors who refunded my credit, he also assured and acknowledged on the email that one way talking was an issue on my account and advised me that it had been activated and assured me that it was now switched off. I called my Father again in hospital tonight and guess what? It's still not been deactivated and my Father could still not hear me. My advice is to avoid this company at all costs if the MD can't get it right then that says it all. I have signed up with another company called Planet TALK much better than this one and I got through to my Father first time. I have one thing to say. Disappointed.

I have used this company now for 8 years, they never change, so consistent in service, and the easiest fastest company to deal with any support needed - fast and effective! super easy to work with!

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!

It has cost my company several hundreds of pounds in failed calls to the USA.

They are classic con-artists, who offer a service they cannot, and do not deliver.

There customer service team have been rude and unhelpful at every turn, and merely spouted terms and conditions that exonerated them of any responsibility to deliver a good service.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

UPDATE: Have claimed they state on their website that they 'clearly' state that numbers simply just wont connect 80% of the time. I am really struggling to find anything. But you have wasted enough of my time and money. I will not be continuing with your inadequate system any further. I merely want people to know that this service is not fit for business purposes. I am a tried and tested case with many issues.
