We were telephoned by PlanetBloom who were available to do a loft survey. We don't normally respond to these calls but agreed to a visit by their surveyor because we were having some issues caused by high humidity.
Jonathan, the Surveyor did a thorough assessment, taking photos and meter readings then explaining his findings.
The price was reasonable and the guys who came to do the job worked hard and took pictures as they installed their A grade product. They used rolls because sheets wouldn't have gone through the loft hatch. They did a professional job.
Almost immediately, the humidity levels really decreased and we no longer have issues with mould around the ceiling line. We now have less heat loss and a better energy efficiency rating.
Very happy with this company. They provided the product guarantee.

Jonathan visited yesterday, to inspect and give advice on my loft insulation. Lovely young man, he took time to explain everything, then gave me a really good price, for the work to be done.

These peiple tried to charge my family , who are in their 80's , 4K for loft insulation on a 1 bed bungalow . When they said they didn't have the finances for it , they then tried to get them to take finance out on it, encouraging a credit check ... Finance on an 83 year old ..... they are pensioners who would qualify for a government grant and any reputable company would know this and would inform them . This has really shook them up - So much so that the police and trading standards are involved ... avoid at all costs !!!!

I am absolutely appalled by this company’s conduct.

They visited elderly pensioners who suffer from dementia and tried to charge them £4,000 to insulate a tiny one-bedroom bungalow. That alone is outrageous. What makes it worse is that they then encouraged them to take out finance to pay for it.

At no point were they properly informed that they may be eligible for free government-funded loft insulation. Instead, this company seemed more interested in squeezing money out of vulnerable people than acting ethically.

This felt like nothing short of exploitation. Targeting elderly people with cognitive difficulties and pushing expensive finance options is morally wrong.

If you care about your loved ones, keep this company well away from them. There are far better, honest providers out there who won’t try to take advantage of vulnerable customers.

From the first visit to the final installation, PlanetBloom have been both professional and communicative.
The fitters, George and Tom , went about their work with both care and a great attitude, proving the faith that Jack ( your representative ) had in this company’s workforce.
I woukd have no hesitation in recommending PlanetBloom to anyone thinking of installing solar panels.

The work has been completed fully . I finally received the warranty certificate by email. I am now satisfied with the work done.

Communication with the company was first class. They offered a very competitive price using quality components.

Just had my solar panels installed. Best service and experience doing business with, from start to finish. Peter Woodman was extremely helpful and took the time and effort actually visited, to go through & explained everything. Great value for quality equipment, compared to several other quotes I got. George the electrician & Antony& Byron the roofers were so Pleasant, respectful and worked efficiently, even through the rain. They really worked hard. Cleaned up afterwards and George set the app for me and explained how to use it. All in all if it was possible to give a 10 star ⭐ rating they deserve it. I would definitely recommend this company.

Really professional company, competitive rates. I spoke to Ryan he was very patient with us and answered every query we had.

The nan who came was very good and he was very polite. Lee was very polite and helpful he explained it well and showed me all the areas that were affected. Lee also was very well organised and helped me understand everything.

The installers arrived on time, carried out the work efficiently to fit solar panels and associated equipment in a neat and professional manner. They were pleasant, courteous and tidy throughout then offered tuition about installing the app and it’s use afterwards.

Loft superfoil installed today. The guys done a great job.Alex was very helpful and explained everything to us. They were able to help with a question we had regarding black marking’s on our ceilings. Which was great and we now know what we need to do about it now.
Nice guys installed quickly and thoroughly. Look forward to seeing the financial rewards in winter months. Thanks guys.
