Great service, great pricing

shit site forced to pay most of their shit now and to top it off you have to type i will not use it for malware and ect. blocks copy and paste should of had some sort of malware host detection instead of this shit i wouldnt recommend missed when you used to be able to host almost anything i mostly use it for stable diffusion comfyui now i cant so went with hamachi / loophole type hosting

To begin with, playit.gg was an amazing experience. Recently though, they have completely rebuilt their entire UI, and hardly anything is working for me. My existing tunnels would work fine, but whenever I tried to assign my own custom domain, as I'm a premium user, it would just keep using the old domain and would not work properly. The thing is, if it actually worked when I'm creating a new tunnel I would still be fine. However, this is not the case, as when I'm trying to create a new tunnel it just doesn't pre-assign a domain anymore and I have to use the custom domain even though the custom domain doesn't work. I am using the base domain for other things on cloudflare and I just add subdomains which used to work, but now doesn't for some reason. Please fix your service playit, I've been using it for years and now you've trashed the whole service.

Update: After the reply from playit I got support and everything works fine. I have added more tunnels they worked perfectly, I therefor change my rating from 2 to 4+

I bought premium after a very short test with a free account. Got it to work, and during the day it stopped working. Now I can connect from my own network through the tunnel (but I can connect directly so not needed), but people placed outside my network can not connect (minecraft java).
Even with premium account there is NO support option other than reading docs. No mail, no discord, no phone, no nothing.

Perfect tunnelling! My experience has been nothing but perfect and allows my server to run perfectly without a costly static IP. Thanks PlayIt!

Im a small server hoster that feels intimidated by simply port forwarding my personal IP address as everyone else is and I found Playit.gg by complete surprise!

I like developing web apps. For over 2 years I think. I have been using playit to forward my projects to friends and family. I mostly hosted tcp+udp tunnels. Sadly there are some abusers and because of them playit had to lock these tunnels behind a premium paywall. I am however just a student and not of age so I cannot buy premium. If I have my own money I definitely will do so. It is a year to go and I sadly dont have any other way to host my projects, as my router does not support port forwarding. Playit has really helped me over those years and Id love to see the Tcp and Udp tunnels become free for everyone again. Thanks to the devs for this amazing project. Because of my situation, I will have to look for an alternative anyway.

I use Playit.gg for my server, being able to run and port forward the server and different games. It is one of the best services around.

Playit.gg is a fantastic tool to use with Foundry, my preferred VTT, to manage online interactive role-playing games. Easy to set up on the manager side, easy to connect on the player side and a with a super affordable prices, compared to the exisiting hosting systems. In addition, there are no traffic limits.

Been using for years and I love and support this project. The owner had some issues with malware proxying through playit.gg but he has been doing a lot of work and some hard dedication. Really easy to set up, community support available too and communication is fantastic!

I have been using playit for a few years to run my minecraft server, it is incredibly easy to setup and overall a great service for the low (or no) cost.
Patrick (the creator) is always active on the discord server ready to help out people with any issues you may have

The free experience with PlayitGG is great and the staff on Discord was quite helpful and not toxic, unlike many other Minecraft communities. I easily set up in less than one hour my Minecraft Java server with Geyser UDP tunnel.

Quite good, cheap subscription and gives great services

The best decision I could have made to run public servers from behind my CGNAT Wall. Even Plus is quite fairly priced and works well with my domain.

For anyone just starting out with self‑hosting, Playit removes a lot of the confusing networking steps like port forwarding and router config. You don’t need deep tech knowledge — it just works, which is a huge relief when you're new to all this.
The Playit community on Discord is super welcoming and patient. When I was learning the basics, the team and other users explained things clearly without overwhelming me. Their support is honestly some of the best I’ve come accross.
The paid tier is very affordable, especially compared to renting dedicated servers. For many beginners, it’s a great way to experiment and grow without spending too much.

best udp tunneling software out there. only one that is worht dealing with if you are playing minecraft bedrock. i got premium before it was required for ome things because i 100% support playit and and think they deserve a 5 star review

Been using it for years. I actually cant imagine a better service. My ISP makes it so i cant setup tunnels but this makes it so I can host games with my friends. The experiences are worth so much to me.

I love the service, I used the free service and quickly upgraded to the premium version. It is extremly cheap and 100% worth it. If you want updates and transparency you should definetly join the discord server the support is always there to help and you can get all the infos you need in the channels on the discord server. I use it to access my server in my vlan and for hosting game servers for my friends.
