Booked for an engineer to come today 12-4 he didn’t turn up! Rang the company and told he couldn’t make it today!!! Afternoon off work wasted! Lost money!! STAY AWAY FROM PLUMBFORCE!!!!!!!

Spent all day waiting for them and they never arrived, if your needing something looked at and time is a factor, go with someone else.
Customer service was apologetic and polite, but ultimately could not help.

Having read the reviews for the company I was prepared to be ripped off, but not as much as this engineer quoted me - I was assured that they would first attempt a manual unblock of my sink drains which would cost £49-79 and only then if needed would I be quoted a price for further work. The engineer did turn up around time, but within a minute just said this needs a machine and is gonna cost you £280!! And by the way you won’t get back the £49 you already agreed to pay, so basically a call out charge. For 15-20 mins using a wet/dry vacuum which you can get for £50 off screwfix - think I’ll do that next time!
On the plus side the sink has been unblocked…

Shocking service, promised to come out sane day, waited in only to be told at 5pm that they could not make it, said tomorrow 9-12, again waited only to be told they will be here in the afternoon, 4.50pm told they now can’t make it until Monday…. We told them to cancel

The plumber the company sent was excellent. He was efficient & knowledgeable. He fitted the new parts for the toilet cistern quickly & further he tidied up & left no mess.

Went with this company as they advertise same day service and I needed an urgent fix for a leak in my kitchen. Was given a 1pm to 5pm window, only to be phoned at 4pm that they couldn’t do my job that day and promised me a 9am to 1pm slot the following day. They phone at 12pm to advise that once again they wouldn’t be able to do my job and I would have to rebook for the following week. As I was running out of towels to keep my kitchen floor from being damaged, I told them to forget it. I did not want to be let down a third time. Phoned another plumber and my problem was resolved within the hour. Avoid phoning this company. They won’t turn up.

Booked them for boiler service check. The man arrived on time and carried out the work smoothly. No probs. Will use them again.

I am writing a review on behalf of my disabled OAP father with IBS due to his unprofessional experience with Plumbforce’s dodgy subcontracted plumbers.

It has started when he had discovered an issue with his toilet leaking so he phone Plumbforce to a man with a heavy Irish accent. It seemed like a no brainer until he has been met with constant appointment changes eventually showing that Plumbforce is no good. He then phoned them after 2 days of false promises from the dodgy contractor to give them one last chance then the so called plumber didn’t even care so he cancelled his appointment without hesitation. I can only imagine he changed his plans for another illegal cash in hand work.

This shocking incompetence of a company has left my disabled OAP father with IBS having to urinate in his grand nephew potty and defecated in his dogs nappies.

That’s not the worst, I’ve received a phone call today from the undertakers to let me know that my disabled IBS OAP father is now deceased from his gut being blocked with so much waste to the point it shut him off.

So do I recommend Plumbforce? If you wanted a simple toilet plumber job then no, If you want a legal loophole to have your Dad dropped dead without taking matters into your own hands sure go for it.

I am taking legal action.

Firstly don’t believe their claim that they have 14000 reviews at 4.5 look on other reviews and you’ll see reviews of 1 and 3.5. Our one time never again experience leaves us putting 1 or zero if possible, ripped us off for £500 to service and fix a problem with our gas fire. Took 2.5 hours to dismantle and hoover round the fire didn’t know how to fix the problem and didn’t. Left and when we relit the fire problem still there. Called him back relit the fire which was classed as a diagnostic check! problem of the fire cutting out after 20 or so minutes happened again. Immediately asked for him to return. He didn’t know what the problem was and we got charged £144 for asking him to come back again. They are a disgrace, when making a complaint I was threatened with legal action. In my opinion stay clear there are better alternatives with a whole lot more integrity out there.

Had no hot water from new shower. Tony Moore from Plumbforce came and helped me deal with Triton and United Utilities. Very kind and helpful.

This company advert said no call out charge & when you phone they tell you their charges are £140.00 including vat for 1hrs Labour plus parts. My Invoice on completion of work States Plumber arrived at 1400hrs left at 1500hrs. ( 1 hour.). When the work was completed they charge me £358.80. When I complained they said this was for 1.1/2 hours Labour for tightening a fitting on bathroom sink. & installing 1 Thermostat Radiator valve in hall. As their invoice states the plumber was only at my home for 1 hour & the most expensive radiator vale is about £58.00. This is a complete rip off they have charge me £218.80 for one radiator valve. When I looked at my bank account they had taken £140.00 when I telephone to make a booking and then £218.80 on completion of work this is worse than charging a callout fee, its charging customers £140.00 as a booking fee plus Labour & parts on completion of work. As a 84 year old female pensioners I know this is just a very greedy company taking people's money on false pretence. Do not use this company they do this to all their customers & don't respond to your complaints. Very dissatisfied customer I would have given them no starts if that had been possible.

Absolutely terrible charged me even though the plumber was away for 3/4 hour getting the parts which was 1 mile down the road charging nearly £400 for a leaking toilet do not go anywhere near this company

Same day service when another company had let me down. I had an integrated dishwasher that needed removing and my new free standing one installed. My plumber was Max Durgun, he was friendly and efficient, was all done in an hour. Would definitely use again.

Had a good visit from Jude Purser to help with my central heating. He did a great job and was very thorough. He went to a lot of effort to get things right, and was polite and respectful.

Booked in an engineer a week in advance. I phoned them on the day to be told a 'trainee' had booked me in when they do not cover my area. A couple of things, the advert said and still says they serve my town. Their system allowed a trainee to book in a post code they don't serve. They phoned and left a message "24 hours before the appointment" I gave them a week, they gave me 24 hours. Absolutely abysmal company, that needs to be clear with their customers and stop blaming their staff when their own processes let them down.

It was very easy to book an engineer visit appointments available asap.
Communication is good, the engineer was punctual, knowledgeable and approachable. They might cost a little more but the service the provide is worth it.

I lost the link to my smart thermostat. A young man called Sam arrived and identified the problem and got a replacement part very efficient.

This the third time I have used this company.Sam came on time.He moved my washing machine from my kitchen into the garage with ease,and quickly and efficiently carried out the necessary plumbing. He did not leave until the machine had completed a full cycle to ensure everything was working with no leaks. I would not hesitate to use this company again.

Plumber turned up within the hour and sorted the issues with the kitchen taps. No fuss and no mess and all as good as new.

Lady on phone was quick and no fuss. Will use again
