Installation was great at first. Consequent servicing wasn’t
The initial installation was great and informative, but this last service wasn’t as great. There is a cupboard next to the boiler which is mysteriously broken since the visit. Also my daughter-in-law who was here for the visit showed the engineer a button on our control panel that jams in place, but he didn’t do anything or offer any type of support.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, we’re sorry to hear that your recent service didn’t meet the same level of satisfaction as your original installation.
Our engineer noted that the thermostat buttons were working correctly at the time of the visit, but that one button was a little stiff when pressed firmly. If it continues to cause trouble, the only reliable fix would be to replace the unit.
Regarding the cupboard, we weren’t made aware of any damage during or after the visit, but we’d really like to look into this for you. Could you please send us a few photos so we can investigate further?
We did try to reach out by phone and also followed up by email after the service to check that everything was okay, but haven’t yet heard back.

I recently had my boiler and central heating repaired, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. The engineer was professional, friendly, and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. They arrived on time, quickly identified the issue, and had everything up and running again in no time.

I recently had a new boiler installed…
I recently had a new boiler installed by this company and, unfortunately, the entire experience has been very disappointing. Communication throughout the process was unclear and inconsistent. The engineer was often unprofessional, appeared under pressure, and even admitted during our conversation that this should have been a two-person job but he was sent alone. Despite paying close to £4,000, I received no proper explanations about the work being done, no videos or photos despite asking several times, and no clear updates on what the actual issues were.
Even after more than 10 days since completion, I still have not received the gas safety certificate, warranty, or final installation report. When I raised these concerns directly with the company’s management, instead of taking responsibility or working towards a fair solution, their response was mainly to defend the engineer’s behaviour rather than address the unresolved problems.
While I fully understand the importance of following gas safety regulations, the lack of professionalism, poor communication, and one-sided handling of my complaint have made this an unnecessarily stressful and disappointing experience.

We’re disappointed to read this review, as all work and documentation for this installation were completed correctly and within standard timeframes.
The new boiler was installed on a Friday, and by Monday we sent our standard completion email confirming the system was up and running. That email included the Gas Safety Certificate and outlined that both the manufacturer warranty and Gas Safe registration would follow within 10–15 working days.
A detailed written summary was also provided, explaining the engineer’s findings, the safety issues identified on site and the actions taken to resolve them.
All registrations have since been completed and the system is fully operational, compliant and covered under warranty.
Our engineer acted appropriately throughout, addressing serious safety concerns in line with Gas Safe regulations. While managing works remotely can make communication more challenging, our team ensured the installation was completed safely, legally and to a high standard.
We value all feedback and continue to review how we communicate progress to ensure every customer has a clear and positive experience.

Very good service. Old boiler broken and new one fully installed and working within two days. Guys knew their stuff, polite, helpful and on time.

Would highly recommend using Plumb London, particularly for the servicing of unvented cylinders (many other companies/individuals are not qualified in unvented systems). (wasted over £100) Rude service, wrong assessment
Their gas engineer Ivo claims he has 20 years experience.
In reality he refused to explain technical details of his work - "it's technical", which would have been ok if he then gave me the right read on the negative pressure threshold.
He recommended a major service, costing over £100 which turned out to not be required due to him misreading "greater than" for "less than"
(this was 2 years ago but i'm still unhappy because they call up asking for more business)

Friendly, tidy, competitively priced -highly recommended
PlumbLondon have been absolutely wonderful on all fronts. Really friendly initial contact, caring emails, prompt answers to queries, and a competitive quote (as well as a lot of empathy for being without a bath for more than four weeks.) Excellent and quick (no dawdling!) repairs of substantial pipe damage and now the bathroom is functional and leak free again. Charlie was brilliant, friendly, and polite and quick and super tidy and just such a difference to too many unreliable other plumbers I have experienced over 15 years of home-ownership.
