What an amazing group of guys! Superb voices, amazing fun, and full of cheer and laughter, they are truly determined to raise money for excellent causes. A real inspiration to so many.
This incredible group of singers came together for the Pride of Britain collaboration concert in December, where they opened the evening — and they were truly out of this world. Their happiness and laughter are completely infectious, and their ability to engage with the audience is second to none.
They sing as one voice, with such humility, kindness, and genuine warmth. A truly special group of men, and an experience we wish we could relive again and again.

POB Shanty Crew are FANTASTIC! They are all such lovely people that bring a fabulous positive energy to every room they sing in. They sung for our Bristol Old Vic Treasure Island Press night and it was amazing. Everyone was really enjoying their performance; they were so captivating and spread so much joy. We loved having them and I would recommend them to anyone! They are kind, doing this for a fantastic cause, amazing singers, fantastic shanties and all-round fabulous performers/people.

Very entertaining, great atmosphere. Very engaging with the audience.

Well, where do we start?! After hearing the Port of Bristol Shanty Crew in the hospitals last year, we really wanted them to come and perform at our Big Bristol Walk and we feel so very lucky that they were both available and willing to be there and support our cause.

Not only are they amazing musicians whose passion for performing is clear to see, but they're a lovely bunch of people who exude such warmth and positivity. They supported us with some electrical problems on the day, kept us laughing with stories (how does someone eat so many hot chillies!?) and warmed the crowd beyond belief. We had lots of positive comments around their performance - people who weren't even taking part in our event, but came to listen to them perform and went on to support us. Thank you to the Shanty crew and we do hope to have you at something else in the future :)

We had the absolute pleasure of working with the Bristol Sea Shanty Group for a recent networking event, and they were fantastic from start to finish! Their performance brought incredible energy to the room and created a truly memorable experience—our attendees loved it.

Their crowd interaction was spot-on, and they were incredibly flexible and easy to work with, making adjustments as needed without missing a beat.

Also love their commitment to raising funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust. It’s a wonderful cause, and their dedication to supporting it through their music is inspiring.

We’d definitely work with them again and highly recommend them for any event looking for something unique and energetic.

What a FAB weekend at the Freemasons hall here in Bristol.
The real ale and CIDER went down very well, guess my preference.
All the crew mates gave excellent renditions of the songs in your group and the others groups both local and from far flung distances.
It was a great pleasure to talk with you individually about many things of the sea and other issues of the day.
Looking forward to catching up with you sooner rather than later.

Last evening the Shanties played for us at our retirement village in Sandford. We put on a fish & chip supper for everyone and then we had the most entertaining evening ever- song stories and laughter. What a brilliant way to spend an evening. The crew worked hard and we were delighted To be able to support your charity Teenage Cancer Trust with somewhere north of £500. I love a performance with purpose

A fantastic evening , enjoyed by all.
The crew sang in aid of our church heating fund, asking no fee, no travel expenses, what a wonderful bunch of guys doing all that for a small village church.
Financially more successful than we ever dreamt, we shall be making a contribution to their charity , the Teenage Cancer Trust, with our grateful thanks.

My sister and I went to the Timsbury Church gig on Saturday for the second year running. We had a great night. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We enjoyed the singing and the anecdotes and being able to participate. Thank you Shanty Crew!

I invited the Port of Bristol Shanty Crew to attend my 40th Birthday Celebration at the Clockwork Rose. They turned up promptly and entertained the assembled with good humour and cheer.
Their easy manner and sunny dispositions helped put the guests at their ease and many of us joined in with those songs we knew.
I would heartily recommend them to anyone looking to have a shanty crew come to an event.
