Do not trust them, they are scammers. They won't give you a refund, you can't cancel the flight and then they are going to tell you some ridiculous price. Do not be fooled by the lo cost that is what they use to grab you. If I could give 0.0 rating I would.

This appears to be a scam. I would strongly advise against purchasing tickets from Pocketfare. There have been instances where customers were charged significant amounts and then contacted for additional payments.

Please exercise caution and carefully verify the legitimacy of any booking before proceeding.

Scammers, If it would allow me to give them rating in minus I would prefer that. Highly suggest do not book your tickets with them as they do big fraud. Initially they will offer cheaper price and then when payment deducts from your account then they start their scam and increase prices 2X to 3X of the price they initially offered. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Scammer ...why they selling a cheap flight after my husband pay almost 1300 us dollar they say still not guaranteed flight im so dissapointed now they dont want to refund my money so i pay 260 us dollar i just let my husband to go home because his mind is sick even thought im so poor and i just give birth i dont have money to buy formula milk for my baby because my husband got scammed again im so mad to my husband and this website im so mad that i let him use my credit card even thought it is for my baby

Pocketfare engaged in misleading and unethical practices in our recent booking. We attempted to book a round-trip flight for my wife but never received a confirmation. When I called, the agent who identified himself as “Liam Smith” (primary contact: 1-888-439-7717; secondary contact: 786-936-3838) told me the return flight had no seats available in the discounted section. He then demanded an additional $300+ to move her to a different section. The agent’s offers and explanations changed repeatedly: at one point he said she could change the outbound or return date at no extra charge, then later refused. He initially said he would cancel the booking and charge only $99, then reversed himself and said the booking was non‑refundable. Pocketfare refused to refund any portion of the $232.88 we paid, claiming we purchased a “Flexible Ticket.” We had a firm need for my wife to return on the booked date for work the next day. The site’s fine print states that flights are subject to change, not that booked dates are not guaranteed. We spent hours on the phone with Pocketfare and never received a resolution; the final representative hung up on me. We ultimately booked the trip directly with the airline. This experience feels like a bait-and-switch and I want a full refund.

My wife purchased two tickets from Boston to Atlanta through this company”Pocketfare” and received a confirmation number after payment. The very next morning, they called her saying they needed to change the return flight because it was “no longer available” - even though the flight had not been canceled.

They then told her it would cost an additional $198 per ticket (almost $400 more total). My wife explained she was okay with a time change but did not agree to pay more, especially since the original purchase was $608 total. They gave her an ultimatum: pay the extra or don't fly. When she asked to cancel and requested a refund, they refused, claiming the tickets were non-refundable.

When my wife said she felt she was being scammed and would file a complaint, the representative responded by saying, “You do that and we’ll find you at the airport.” My wife was shocked and asked if she was being threatened, and he repeated “I said we’ll find you at the airport” This was extremely alarming and completely inappropriate.

My wife called me, explained what had happened and I called them back immediately and reached the same individual. Upon being confronted, he denied everything, became rude, aggressive and hung up on me. When I called again 10 min later hoping to speak to a manager to report the incident, he answered and once I identified myself, he started pretending to be someone else. Once I realized it was him and confronted him again, he became rude and began yelling, said our reservation was canceled and hung up again.

This behavior is unacceptable, unprofessional, and very concerning. No one should have to deal with threats or manipulation when simply trying to resolve a booking issue.
I wish there was an option to give no star.

I had a terrible experience with this company—they are scammers just out for your money! After you pay, they tell you that the price only covers a "BASIC Seat," and then try to charge you outrageous amounts for a "Regular Seat." Be very careful: even if you have booked specific dates, they won’t confirm your reservation when you call them, instead putting you on whatever flights they have available. Of which you have to pay extra for. It’s a total scam!

The person I spoke with had a strong Indian accent and claimed his name was Stephen Smith, which felt suspicious. He was also extremely rude and even threatened to blacklist me from Hawaiian and Alaska Airlines because I wouldn’t pay an extra $1600+ for a regular seat. He said people like me, looking for affordable tickets, are at fault and should just book directly with the airline—which tells you he knows they’re scamming people. Disgusting. Learn from my experience! Don't ever book trhough them. I submitting my complain to the BBB> They should be shut down! Stealing money from people blatantly.

They take your money without confirming seats, and you only get a confirmation email to later find out you don’t even have a seat. Then you’re left waiting with no timeline, no guarantee, and no real support. I lost all my money to them. Don’t trust these people!

Update...
Finally a rep. from the cancellation dept. called me and was able to find me a new itinerary for a more reasonable additional fee of $80, though with a layover on one of the ways.

With that said, I'm changing my rating to 2 stars only because of this one person that kept apologizing for my trouble though it doesn't give me my 3 or 4 hours I spent on the phone with their support, airline carrier to check on my reservation, and my bank to file a dispute. I probably won't use this company in the future, unless they offer me a free flight for my trouble...

I wish I had read the review on this fraudulent business. I've made a reservation through them (Pocketfare) and made sure to look for any restrictions they might have on the lowest fare they provided and could NOT find any. Not even a mentioning of whether a carryon is included or not. an hour later, they called me back reading me a page of restrictions and that my dates are not guaranteed and the airline had no seats for me as they had over 200 people making reservations at the same time (BS). they offer me an upgrade for $192 each way which would have cost me almost twice if I had made a reservation through any of the airlines, directly. The refused to cancel my reservation and made a few offers with additional stops for an additional fee that would double my original fare price. Please Please please don't be had by these crooks...
PS. if I could chose 0 stars I would have for these scammers.

"This 'company' is a predatory operation that uses fraudulent pricing to lure travelers. They issued a fake PNR (N71LY4) that Delta Air Lines confirmed does not exist. They are currently withholding my funds and attempting to extort more money through classic 'bait-and-switch' games. I have already initiated a formal criminal fraud report with the authorities and a high-priority chargeback with my bank. Consider this a final warning: Do not give them a single cent."

This is a bait and switch scam. Low prices on the site- get locked into a non refundable ticket with NO seat- then pay the same price you could have on the airline website! DO NOT USE!!

This is your fair warning do not ever purchase a ticket from pocket fare. They are the biggest scam ever.!!!!!!! I purchased a ticket to come and see my sick father in Washington DC. I went to the pocket fair website purchased the ticket and then they called me and told me that I would need to pay an extra $90 for a $290 one-way ticket when the website showed $201 for a round-trip ticket. Pockedare is the biggest scammers ever. To make matters worse, I was told there wouldn’t be seat available for me because I did not want to pay the extra $89 for a one-way ticket. And you can’t get your money back so they basically stole $201.. do yourself a favor do not ever purchase a ticket from the scammers!!!! they will definitely get what’s coming to them!!!!! anywhere they are posted up. I’m writing a review..

This company scams you, they promise you a deal on a flight then they take your money and then call you saying that fight is full and charge you more money and refuses to refund money.

Actually -1 star!!! False advertisement is their game. Fare advertised is not what actually is....then they call you relentlessly when you realize and you cancel your purchase!

This was by far the most bizarre trip planning service I have ever used. I paid for our flight on a Sunday night, and by 5 o’clock Monday morning. I was getting multiple phone calls, emails, and text messages saying my card would not go through. And that by the time they realized my card wouldn’t go through. My flight would’ve cost us $200 more per person. Then they kept asking me if it was OK to charge my card, and when I refused and told them that I could get the same exact flight that I wanted on Expedia for the original price. The guy badgered me and told me I didn’t understand. James Brown. I absolutely understand what a scam is. Steer clear! He really did not want to hang up with me once I told him I was going through a different site. Knowing I was at work, and after telling him I had to go and hanging up on him, he called me back seven more times within a four hour time frame

Scam WEBSITE!!! My brother was buying tickets and as he got done buying them they said he had to pay more when he already paid and he only got 50% back because they don't do any refunds do not waste your money

Booked and paid for flights on phone no problem for later this week. Lots of available flights. Told to check website for itinerary. Couldnt access itinerary on website and called back. Total fiasco ensues. They act like they cant hear you and inform us our late January flights are now for March and will cost more than double what we paid. Manager said he was "in charge and only person above" him was "God"... and "he wasnt available". They wouldnt cancel/refund and when I said I would dispute and report their criminal conduct they hung up. Had to cancel card and am disputing. Nightmare.

I went on-line to purchase a flight for my son only to have him receive a phone call the next day that the flight that I booked and paid for would cost him $300 more if he wanted it. I then called the travel agency and got passed around and told repeatedly that I purchased a non-refundable, NON-CONFIRMED ticket. In my world, I would expect that you would not be charged until the flight was confirmed. Not with them. Then, if you don't want to pay double the ticket price then they try to give you some awful alternative, the one they offered me would have my son sleeping in the airport all night, and if you don't take that then say there is nothing they can do. If you continue to fight it they will then say that they can refund you some of the money but it will cost you $99. TOTAL SCAM, BEWARE

Beware of this fraudulent company
Their website quote lower fares than they call you back saying your ticket is restricted and you must upgrade and pay double . All Indian just so you know .
We booked 2 ticket to Asia but they won’t honour the their website quote and they refuse to cancel . Later that day they cancel our reservation without asking and it turned out they never issued our ticket but did charged our credit card. When tried to contact them they won’t help answer our questions.
Now I’m dealing with my credit card to dispute the charges on tickets that were never issued.
