I purchased 6 work-grade life vests through Point Supplies. I needed them expedited for an active construction site over water and I paid extra for that service. PS claimed online the vests were in stock. When I ordered them, I received subsequent notice three were coming from Florida and three from New Jersey. I then learned the hard way there is no way to contact anyone from PS except through email. Did I mentioned I needed these expeditiously?

Anyway, needless to say, one package arrived last Friday. The other … NOPE! After several emails and then finally taking matters into my own hands because I couldn’t get a response from PS, I learned FedEx messed up and delivered one of the two to a neighboring business. One who, by the way, claimed they hadn’t seen it.

Now while the delivery error was not the fault of PS, the lack of customer service and complete disregard to their customers is atrocious. I save roughly $5 per vest — a whopping $30 — but the inability to have only 3 of six workers on a site for two whole days, from payroll to productivity, was exponentially more than that $30! But why should PS care? After all, they got my company’s money.

Do yourself a favor. Skip buying from Point Supplies and find a company where you can actually speak to someone!

Response to below: It doesn’t change the fact that customer service is atrocious, hence the reply by the company. Put the blame on me. You made a sale. You got the money. But guaranteed that couple hundred bucks is the last you’ll ever get from me or my company. In this climate, hope it was worth it!

S/S gas filler is good quality and shipped promptly

Ordered a Raymarine chart plotter that was listed on Point Supplies website. They sent me a slightly different unit, one I did not want, that was not even listed on the website. I had to pay shipping to return that unit and now the unit I wanted is sold out. Not a good experience.

Edit - the unit sent was not listed on their webpage, I could not find it until given a link after I contacted the company.

My experience was great. Super prices for a quality product, ( 5/8" dock lines). Shipped and arrived quickly.

They did great. Parts were received quickly and when it turned out I needed to return them it was no hassle.

I'm not satisfied, that is not what I ordered, I don't need a big rod cover, I don't fish and don't have rods. I will send it back when I get my money back. Won't order anything else! Sam Anders

Really liked that there was a supplier that carried all the items I needed. Just wished that I would get here so I can finish my project. Can't really complain due to being at the back end of the Holidays. I hope that everything is as good or better than expected when it get here

Shipped the wrong item, after multiple attempts to contact for resolution, still no attempts rectify.

14 days and I still dont have my freight, why do you choose the most ridiculous
way to send a package when you charged enough to send it straight through on UPS or Fed Ex. No way to contact you by phone and you wont answer emails. Some of us in this country are still doing business but people like you dont help anything move along.
