I went on an Antarctic cruise with Polartours, and it was truly an unforgettable and perfect experience. From the very beginning, the communication with the company was excellent — Celia and Bruna answered all my questions and concerns, guided me through the entire formal process, and additionally helped with organizational matters (such as choosing insurance), for which I’m very grateful. It’s very likely that without such great communication and quick responses, I wouldn’t have decided to go on this trip.

The entire expedition went exactly as it had been presented to me. I have absolutely no complaints — there were no issues with the guaranteed hotel, luggage storage before the cruise, transportation to the ship, or the organization of the entire expedition.

I sincerely recommend traveling with this company to anyone who dreams of a smooth, trouble-free, and truly amazing experience :-)

First time going to Antarctica. Polarours specifically Celia was amazing at helping me choose the right boat. I chose the ultramarine and had the most beautiful experience with the 7th continent. I felt safe using Polartours for my trip as they have in depth knowledge on all the boats. Highly recommend :)

I booked my Antarctica trip through PolarTours and I’m very grateful to Bruna and Celia for all their help throughout the booking process. Communication with them was generally great, they were very responsive, helpful and easy to reach whenever I had questions. They were even available by phone around Christmas time, including on Christmas Eve, which I really appreciated.

I do have to admit that at the very beginning I briefly wondered if it might be a scam. PolarTours is a relatively young company and I couldn’t find as many reviews as for some other companies, which made me a bit cautious at first. On the website it also mentioned that we would have a few days to make the payment after the reservation confirmation, but then on the same day I received several calls and emails saying that I needed to pay immediately because it was the last cabin available. At the time that made me a bit nervous, but in the end it actually turned out to be a good thing because we didn’t lose the cabin.

Overall, everything worked out really well and the whole trip was fantastic, so I’m very happy that I booked through PolarTours.

I had a great experience working with this tour company. I had a limited budget for my Antarctica trip, and Celia Smith went above and beyond to identify tour options that suited my needs. She provided me with all the paperwork and information I needed. She kept me up-to-date on the checklist of forms that needed to be completed. She responded in a timely manner to all the questions I had. And I had a fabulous trip that I'll never forget! Thank you, Celia, for taking such good care of me!

Celia Smith was an amazing agent who stayed with us through all of our trepidation and flip flopping.

C’était la plus belle expérience de ma vie. Les paysages sont extraordinaires et incomparables, nous avons vu de nombreuses baleines, pingouins, phoques. Le bateau Océan victory est très confortable. Peu de remous même en mer agitée lors du Drak. Service à bord impeccable, tout le monde est au petits soins et restauration au top. L’équipe a prévu de nombreuses activités et toujours la pour répondre à vos questions. Une histoire que nous n’aurions pas pu vivre sans le dévouement de Celia Smith et sa persévérance à nous trouver une cabine de rêve en dernière minute! Nous ferons tout pour refaire cette croisière des que possible.

I chose this company because they had a good selection of destinations, and among them I found one that suited me perfectly. I received a quick response to my request, and throughout the entire trip I had a personal travel consultant whom I could contact with any questions and receive prompt answers. The trip went perfect, and now I know that I can recommend Polartours to my friends.

We decided to go for our adventure to Falklands, South Georgia and Antarctica with Oceanwide via Polartours and haven't regretted it. The crusie and the experiences on the way were mindblowing and the service, care and response time of Celia at Polartours just completed the great experience.

Excellent and very professional organization from the first contact with Polartours (Celia). Ushuaia Antarctica Classic Voyage was a really exciting journey with lifelong memories. Ushuaia crew provided remarkable services while team of experienced scientists completed all their demanding tasks and activities very successfully. I would particularly express my gratitude to Mr. Lucas Marti, Team Leader who managed all aspects of a complex navigation in a superb manner.

Celia from Polartours has been very professional and helpful in our trip planning. Her responses were always speedy and meaningful. I would definitely recommend Polartours to anyone who's interested to explore the polar regions.

A very disappointing experience. Polar Tours was supposed to sign me up for an Antarctica Cruise on board the Hondius with Oceanside Voyages. The room was meant to be on a twin sharing basis and I have the initial booking to prove it but on boarding the ship, they had me cramped in pigeon hole style conditions in a small room no bigger than a prison cell with two other people (three total). It made for an utterly unhygienic and uncomfortable experience on what was supposed to be a memorable trip.

When approached about the issue they got defensive and said documents had been “tampered” without any evidence and even when approached about the matter, the team both at Polartours and Oceanwide refused to even consider finding a solution to the matter. This was in spite of others on the ship who had actually paid for a four sharing room being upgraded to twin sharing rooms and in some cases private rooms EVEN BEFORE THE CRUISE HAD STARTED

Make sure to avoid or you’ll end up paying thousands for your cruise only to be cramped inside a letter box and your holiday ruined

Awesome expedition trip with Ocean Albatros from 30th August till 10th September 2025. Programme very detailed and well planned. Expedition team lead by Marc Jansen supported by Captain Johan was super amazing. We saw many nights of auroras and several sightings of whales frolicking in front of us, the amazing pristine unspoilt beauty of Greenland and the various visits to Greenlandic homes to understand their cultures, Church worship and their history. The best expedition by far. Highly recommended to all my friends. Keep it up Ocean Albatros and Marc Jansen plus Captain Johan. We salute you all for the great job done."

It was really a great trip. It was My first cruise, and that went better than expected. Great booking and pre-trip service by Polar Tours, specially Celia! At the Ocean Albatros, the experience was just amazing: from the little greenlandic villages and 4 days of northern lights at the top deck, to the zodiac cruise in the middle of huge icebergs, and also an ESPECTACULAR Expedition team, lead by Mark, an incredible guy. Food at the ship was good, the room was super comfortable, the captain is also an incredible fellow, deeply passioned about his profession. Long story short, a trip never to forget, really amazing and safe adventures. Really recommend to everyone. I wasn't sure how it was gonna go when I booked, due to the lack of reviews (even on Youtube), but I can now say it is worth it. You have my true review here and I'll also make one on youtube!

I traveled with my wife and the staff were very professional and cared a lot about wildlife and the environment. every day had fun activities, but it never felt too busy.
The expedition was well organized with a good balance of adventure and planning.

In the end I didn’t Book the Trip with them for personal reasons. But the Communication with Celia and Bruna were amazing. Their transparancy, prompt response left a great Impression. I would love to book another trip with the girls in the future if possible.
