I purchased a pair of pyjamas that were described as lightweight but are absolutely not. On contacting them I was told their lightweight items vary…! And I was told I would have to return at my own expense which should not be the case when the item is not as described. I have subsequently tried to email them on more occasions and received no response. Customer care totally lacking and goods are not as described. AVOID

My daughter received a fairy PJ from a family member, it’s one of my favourite item, so we bought more items, very classic and old English style, which I adore. There was a bit issue on one of the items but the team has provided great support. I’m very pleased with my shopping with Powellcraft.

The colour of the pink nightdress was falsely advertised. It looked like a pretty light pink on their website but in reality, it came very dark. After investigating, they already had 2 other customers complaints about the dark colour on the reviews a few years ago, yet, they did not care to change the pictures. The customer service was ok apart from the owner that was rude and wouldn't pay for return costs even though this is the law. Stay clear.

I purchased an ‘Agatha ’ nightdress - from this online boutique 8 February 2026.
Months later it still hasn’t turned up. Poor communication to this point with no end in sight.

Purchased three embroidery angleise night dresses.
Delivery excellent and quick.

However quality ok,they look beautiful on website.In reality they are poorer quality.
I could have purchased at a cheap holiday market.!!! Sorry to say this but standard for price is a No for me.
Also website images are whiter this is important when buying online.

I was recently given some short pj’s from this brand they’re so soft and fit so well, I’ve ordered 2 more pairs! Love that they’re 100% cotton, very comfy for summer a very reasonable price too. Postage was quick and they came beautifully wrapped. Definitely recommended

Ordered a nightie which was lovely, well packaged and suited my wife - super quick postage!

I made a second order but the items did not suit my wife - sent back for a refund and refunded same day as receipt of the goods!

Very happy with this company - quality products and great customer service!

Arrived next day and is as lovely as in the pictures!

First order and last due to the unprofessional reply! Order arrived and i questioned something about the order, the order was not for me, it was for and elderly ladys Grandchild & a very good price. I raised a question on her behalf, she thought it was clearly a misunderstanding when ordered and the item was in the sale. A simple polite reply would have been suffice to deal with the matter, instead i received several rude sarcastic unprofessional responses via email!! I have never had such stinking replies from any company😲 Clothing although pretty & of decent quality the Customer service is shocking! It is quite concerning. They state on other low reviews they take customer feedback seriously??
I expect some more of the same attitude from those concerned when they read my poor review🫣
It is a shame as the lady involved had asked i place a larger order for her until this. I have had to block their emails which stated on two, you have had your moneys worth and you must be desperate! I did not relay all this to the elderly lady, I had to state the further items she wanted were out of stock rather than give them further business. Absolutely vile people who responded to my emails. 🤷‍♀️

Absolutely beautiful clothes, I am thrilled with my order - delivered so quickly and unbelievably sale prices. My first time ordering so was a little apprehensive but am already scouring the website for another haul! Feels like a really special business, thank you!

The products were shipped super quickly and beautifully packaged. Nightdress is fabulous, has stopped me overheating at night, is comfy and long enough to mean I’m not fighting it when asleep! Cover up is equally beautiful and perfect for the warmer days. Wash bag is beautiful and a fabulous size. Even the face mask is beautiful! Really impressed and will be buying more as needed.

Now I know what the fuss was about, the value and quality genuinely is remarkable and the care to detail in wrapping, just wonderful.
Thanks to other people’s reviews because they gave me the confidence to order.
Before ordering with Powell Craft I’d returned a pair of pyjamas elsewhere to the jaw clenching amount of £150 which were limp and see through. I cannot praise this company and products enough.
I won’t shop anywhere else and will purchase for my daughter in laws too.

My nightdress was delivered a few days ago. I am absolutely delighted with it and excellent service too.

Sadly the quality is not what it was, fabric thinner than ever before, nightdress is less roomy and shorter, I've been buying these for over 25 years and the difference to the ones I bought earlier on is substantial, found another supplier who sells a better quality item and for less, my loyalty has worn thin with Powell Craft rather like their fabric.rder number 23596

Written by Rhonda,…I made a mistake, having bought Powell craft nightdresses for many years for both my sisters my mum and myself, always in the Ruth style I decided to order a different one for my mum who is in hospital. My mistake was not checking the sizing and assuming one size would be the same as previously, it wasn’t. Even worse though and we wouldn’t have kept it anyhow was that the new product called Audrey was see through. Not a good thing for an elderly woman in hospital or even for me. I rang up to discuss and was told I had to return at my own expense. Not at all impressed with the nightdress or valuing customers. T

I purchased a beautiful expensive dressing gown as a treat. I washed it on cool 30 degree wash on its own (which is wasteful energy) and it came out with looking shabby old and the colours have bleed . I only have it a few weeks . So disappointed would not recommend

My shopping experience with Powell Craft Boutique just reconfirmed why it’s so much better to shop from independent businesses. I received an outstanding level of customer service - extremely helpful, friendly and personalised. They assisted me with an issue (which was caused by myself) and went above and beyond to resolve it.
Delighted with my beautiful dressing gown, and look forward to buying more stunning clothing from this lovely boutique in the future.

I love their children’s raincoats. Just bought one for my tiniest one and a bigger size for my eldest after she grew out of her old one (which will be like new when it’s time for my littlest to inherit it, even after two years of wear!). They wear brilliantly, look fab and are properly waterproof.

the 2 sets of pajamas i bought are lovely and comfy. The colors and patterns are beautiful. But they bleed excessively on the first wash. I haven't worn or washed again because i don't want to run a whole load with only a skimpy set of pjs. Also its a pain to smooth them out and hang them since the care instructions say they cannot be machine dried. Aside from the washing issues I really love the pjs.

Nothing works in this company, total waste of time and money
