Do not trust your pet with these vets.

I had my cat spayed in December she then came back into full heat in April. I’ve been told she is suffering with feline remnant syndrome due to the procedure not being carried out correctly.

I now no longer live in the area and Im finding it hard to get a practice where I now live to take bloods to forward to priory vets. I have called the receptionist last week with a request for a further conversation she said she would pass on a long message. No reply. I have emailed, no reply. I’m now looking to raise a formal complaint about surgical negligence.

I understand mistakes can happen but it’s how it’s dealt with afterwards which makes up for the error. Sadly priory vets are extremely poor it looks in surgical expertise and after-care. AVOID,

I'm deeply frustrated by the lack of attentiveness and skill among doctors nowadays.My beloved cat fell severely ill, developing thyroid issues, and I didn't realize it was due to the wet food I gave her from Pets at Home. Tragically, she passed away shortly after.I recently consulted a cat nutritionist who questioned why the doctor didn't inform me that my cat was nutrient-deficient and urgently needed a diet change.It turns out that cats require a specific diet, consisting of both dry food, which should be varied weekly and left available in a bowl, and high-quality veterinary soft food given twice daily, along with fresh water. Raw food is not recommended due to harmful bacteria.Do doctors share this vital information? Absolutely not!Instead, they simply prescribe costly medications like Thyronorm without offering fundamental dietary guidance.It's all about pushing expensive meds, with no focus on the essential elements like proper nutrition.My dear cat has been gone for three months because of so-called doctors who couldn't protect her from the harmful effects of inappropriate diets.These doctors appear to lack critical thinking and rely solely on protocols.If only they had shared this essential knowledge, my angel might still be with me.Frustration doesn't even begin to cover it.

Disgusted how carless and incompetent doctors are these days.

My cat had become extremely ill. Throiyd. Because I was giving wet food from Pets at Home. I did not know !!!

She died shortly after.

Went to a cat nutritionist just now , and they said why did the doctor not tell you the cat was deficienct and needed immediate diet advice and change ???

Turns out all cats need 2 types of food ..

DRY food (change type every week) always at hand left in a bowl on the side And doctor grade vets soft food twice a day and clean water .
Not to give raw as LIVE bacterias ...

Do doctors tell you this ???

No they don't !

They tell you to TAKE THYRONOM medication and that's it.

All about selling expsive medications !

But basics and fundemtntals - like FOODs- no advise...

Now the cat is been 3 months dead due to people who call them selves doctors but can't rescue their patients from foods that kill them slowly.

Doctors have water in their brains and just go by the book.

My ANGEL would have been alive still.
