I placed an order with Private Gym in November 2025 totaling $130.50. Only two of my items were shipped on December 31, 2025 — the rest remain marked "Unfulfilled" on their own website to this day.

Over the course of seven months I sent six or more follow-up emails asking for either shipment of the missing items or a refund. The responses I received were nothing but excuses and delays. My most recent email in June 2026 has gone completely unanswered.

I have now been forced to file a dispute with my credit card company and submit a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission just to recover $27.00 that Private Gym charged me for an item they never shipped and never even documented in my order confirmation or packing slip.

This is not how any legitimate business operates. If you are considering ordering from Private Gym, be warned — if anything goes wrong with your order, do not expect them to make it right. You will be ignored until you escalate to your bank or a regulatory agency.

Product was on backorder. They never sent product or refund. I've called and emailed multiple times. It's been 6 months. Shady

I really regret not looking up independent reviews on this company before ordering. Placed an order 23 days ago and haven’t received a single update since. Company is unresponsive. Not even going to bother trying to obtain a refund from the company directly, I’m going to issue a chargeback with my credit card company. What a colossal waste of time.

Took my money and never delivered on the product. Requested a refund many times through email. The whole time was in contact with a Gary P. If that's even a real person. They are thieves and should be investigated for fraud.

Complete scam. Never received my order

Purchased two products. One was out of stock for 3 months. I decided to cancel the second product. They never refunded the money for the second product. I sent 4 customer service emails, which they responded to. After 3 months, still no refund. I submitted a BBB complaint. They still didn’t respond. I then submitted a charge back. Terrible customer service.

They charged me for extra weights, but I never received them. When I write the company to get a status, my emails go ignored.

I would not do business with this company!

Scam company, never pre order or buy from them. They’ll lie and string you along saying they will refund you. But it never happens.

As others mentioned, they are scammers. I got burned ordering something from them about 6 months ago. They never said it wasn't in stock at the time and then kept saying it will arrive in the next month or so, which of course it never has.
Then they tell you they will refund you "soon" but never will.
When you order from them, you'll never know if they have the product or not, and you'll never get a refund. They deserve 0 stars.

Scammers. I ordered a product and go the bait and switch. They sent a different product. I returned it without taking it out of the box 3 months ago and despite many correspondences, they never issued a refund. Avoid this company!

Stay away from these scammers. They will take your money but never deliver. Then when you request a refund, they will not refund. They are thieves and scammers. Ordered and paid 12 April 2025. Cancelled order on 2 June after empty promises and promised refund. Still no refund by 29 July 2025 and just more excuses......

After 4 months my purchased item had still not been shipped so I cancelled the order for a refund. The refund took 3 months to arrive after many emails. Quite exhausting. Bad service and communication although the refund was eventually processed

I only wish there was a choice of "zero" stars. This is a completely dishonest company - absolutely no ethics or integrity.
