Procountancy Reviews

Procountancy is the place to go for anyone wanting help with the CIMA strategic case study exam. I couldn’t recommend the Ultimate Strategic Case Study Course from Procountancy enough.

The Materials within the course are fantastic whether it will be the booklet or videos that Hugh provides. Hugh is able to explain complex theories in more simple ways that are not only understandable but to apply it to the scenario. Hugh answers all questions in a very timely manner and provides fantastic feedback and is refreshing to see the dedication he has to help as many students as he can.

The marking received from the mock exams are detailed and can provide you areas of were to improve in the exam so when it comes to the real exam you have the tools available to pass it.

If anyone has gotten this far and are thinking about which course provider to go with, then you can not go wrong with Procountancy.

The Procountancy materials are excellent, and Hugh’s preseen videos really help connect all the key theoretical concepts, giving you the confidence to tackle any type of question in your SCS exam. I passed on my first attempt, and I can honestly say I wouldn’t have done it without Procountancy

I found out about Procountancy a week before sitting the SCS exam, Hugh’s YouTube channel gives access to some great resources such as a free full debrief of exam style questions, how they’d be tested and how to apply them to the specific case study. I also joined the WhatsApp group which Hugh is highly responsive on, and it was helpful to hear other students questions. Hugh also shared a free mock exam with the group the day before the exam and it was so helpful, I know other students who purchased the textbook and they vouched for how useful it was.

The best CIMA material out there for SCS. I believe Hugh’s materials were the reason for a first time pass. He is super responsive in group chats, I couldn’t recommend enough for SCS. Very reasonably priced compared to other providers and just an overall feeling that Hugh wants everyone to succeed. Thanks so much!

Procountancy as the name goes is a pro at providing tuition support for scs exams. Hugh is extremely knowledgeable and the most humble person and always ready to help. Although I couldn’t purchase the full book, Hugh was super supportive with some free materials and Procountancy what’sapp group is the most vibrant and active group, for any questions there is always an answer in the group. I highly recommend Hugh’s Procountancy if you are looking for support to pass your SCS exam.

I came to learn about procountancy through Facebook and I joined the WhatsApp group. Materials would be shared, everyone is so free to encourage one another, to brainstorm ideas on how to tackle the exam. Also met different people from other countries.
Procountancy materials is the way to go fr you to pass the CIMA exam.

Whilst I had already onboarded with a different tuition provider, the free resources I discovered with Procountancy to study my SCS more than contributed to my first time pass. The consolidated list of previous exam questions meant I could review where my weaknesses had previously been tested with ease, the pre-seen analysis was thorough but understandable and the WhatsApp group chat provided a great support network.
If anyone asked me for a recommendation of who to use for their CIMA studies I’d recommend Procountancy in a heart beat.

I was self studying for my SCS and found Hugh’s materials to be excellent. I found him on YouTube with the preseen analysis and found it was the most insightful analysis. I then purchased his textbook and the assessments were invaluable to me. He is very responsive to questions and really provides helpful tips. He is the best and I couldn’t recommend him enough.

Very well structured and comprehensive materials with first class insights and support. Definitely worth making use of for the SCS case study exam.

Best tuition provider out there! Can't recommend it enough! Thank you!

Hugh’s support, knowledge, experience and materials are fantastic. I wouldn’t have passed first time without him. Thankyou so much!!!

Hugh's CIMA scs book is fantastic. Better still his legendary video is well known as the best. Total class. Better still he's so nice.

This course is very rich in detail and is quite engaging. If you are willing to put in the effort and time then this is the best course to guarantee your success in the final exam with confidence.

I found Procountancy and Hugh at a later stage of my SCS window. I had enrolled with another provider and although a very successful one, what I found lacking was the theory side of the SCS syllabus was nothing but summarised version of the actual text books. Procountancy is probably the only provider who has a dedicated text book which is tailored to the SCS syllabus. Beautifully crafted and very well structured and easy to follow. Buying the text book also gave me access to the WhatsApp group which I think was the best study group I have been part of. The best part about the group was how accessible Hugh was and had time to answers every single persons queries.
I also purchased the mock pack towards the end of my prep window and it helped immensely as the questions and scenario were exam standard.
Overall brilliant experience with Hugh and Procountancy and my only regret is that I didn’t know about them earlier as I would have signed up for the SCS ultimate pack.
Thank you very much Hugh. You have been simply amazing! More strength to you.

Got me through my final CIMA exam with only 2 weeks to prepare, also better value for money than other providers. Thank you very much.

Okay, so originally, I planned to write this review after receiving my results in October, having sat the SCS exam in August. That seemed like the logical time – use a pass/fail outcome as a metric to evaluate Procountancy. But then it hit me: pass rates are a flawed way to measure the quality of tuition. Why should a provider be judged solely on whether I put in the work and used the materials as intended?

That’s exactly why I’m writing this now – because if I don’t pass, it will not be due to a lack of dedication from Hugh or inferior materials. It’ll be because I didn’t utilise the resources properly. In fact, the opposite is true: the materials are outstanding – easily the best I've come across. They’re designed specifically for the SCS, reworking theory into a format you can actually apply in a case study, rather than just memorise for objective tests.

As for the support? Second to none. If I had one criticism, it would be this: Hugh, how are you sustaining this level of dedication?! You must be more exhausted than the candidates. I’ve seen replies at all hours, and no topic is too complex for him to break down. Hugh doesn’t just teach the theory – he coaches you through the realities of the exam, from breaking down questions to refining exam technique. He genuinely makes the whole experience not only manageable but enjoyable.

I sat the exam today (21st August 2025), and I’ve never felt more prepared. For the first time, I’m not dreading the six-week wait. I feel confident and proud of the effort I’ve put in – but make no mistake, I couldn’t have done it without Hugh and the Procountancy team. He’ll probably say it’s all us – that we put in the work – but that’s only part of the story. The structure, the materials, the feedback, the constant support... they make all the difference.

I took the Ultimate SCS Course, and honestly, the price was a steal. Hugh – I genuinely think you’re underselling yourself. I would’ve paid double for the quality you provide, and most providers do charge that as a minimum.

Here’s just a glimpse of what you get:

Mock exams with detailed, actionable feedback

Challenging question packs (harder than the real thing!)

Theory videos

Exam technique videos

Pre-seen walkthroughs

Videos on potential testable topics

And an incredible textbook that’s next level

If you’re still on the fence about which provider to choose for your SCS – look no further than Procountancy. This isn’t just a course – it’s a game-changer.

Open Communication with the owner, his willingness to help and go above and beyond.
I started my CIMA Journey unsure, I managed to pass the MCS with self study and struggle but my preparation for the SCS with Procountancy's help has been far smoother and more exciting. The way topics are explained makes it easier to comprehend, the breakdowns of what is required gives one a fighting chance for success. In how Hugh assists students and Future CGMA's is nothing short of Professional and Selfless. I full heartedly will recommend Procountancy to anyone studying the CIMA route.

I only wish I had discovered Procountancy earlier in my CIMA journey rather than towards the end of my studies. Having previously attended a course with one of the big tuition providers and worked through several past case study exams, I can confidently say that Procountancy’s practice exams are far closer to how CIMA actually examines candidates.

The book - it is simply amazing. The content is clear, practical, and really helps to refresh and reinforce all the relevant technical knowledge needed for the exam. It’s one of the best study resources I’ve used throughout my CIMA studies.

I’m not planning to fail my resit, but if I do, I’ll definitely be joining the full course programme for November. If I pass, however, I will still be recommending Procountancy to anyone preparing for the SCS. For anyone going through the CIMA journey, their resources are a must.

Finally, Hugh is extremely responsive and supportive, which makes huge difference when you're preparing for such demanding exam.

Purchased the SCS ultimate textbook. I started preparing for this exam a little last minute and was taking the second sitting in the window, I needed some laser focused materials that cut out the filler but without sacrificing on quality.

This textbook does a great job of covering all the content, always keeping a case study approach in mind, it is not just a summary from all the competencies/ exam pillars, which includes a lot of stuff that wont come up in the exam.

If you want a "cover everything" book, this is really it, and the case study specific questions are great practice too.

I only found Procountancy towards the end of my CIMA study journey, using them for my SCS preparation. And I am so sorry I didn't find them earlier on! I have used a wide range of tuition providers to complete my CIMA studies, and Procountancy is a hands down standout provider. The content is excellent, very well explained and the mocks are super challenging and prepare you well for exams. But what really sets Procountancy apart is the personal touch. Hugh’s dedication to his students is second to none. He genuinely cares, takes the time to support students, and his commitment shines through in everything he does. That level of care and individual attention simply isn’t matched by other providers. I would urge CIMA students to give Procountancy a try!!!
