We would highly recommend Fergus. He recently completed the painting work as part of our attic conversion, and we were really happy with the result. This is actually the second time we’ve used Fergus, which says a lot about how pleased we were with his work the first time.
He is reliable, professional, tidy and takes great pride in his work. Everything was finished to a really high standard, and the attention to detail was excellent. It’s great to find someone you can trust to do a really good job, and we would have no hesitation in using Fergus again or recommending him to anyone looking for a painter.

From his initial visit to view the proposed job, to the completion of the work, Fergus was thoroughly professional and a complete pleasure to deal with. He engaged with the proposal from his arrival, offering very valuable advice and a practiced eye. His quotation was detailed and transparent, his pricing extremely competitive, and the standard of preparation and painting was excellent, with real attention to detail throughout.
What particularly impressed me was that Fergus didn't simply come to quote for a painting job. He took the time to discuss the house with me, offered thoughtful suggestions based on years of practice and experience and was genuinely engaged in choosing the right colour scheme for the house. I followed his recommendations and I am absolutely delighted with the result.
Fergus was reliable, knowledgeable and meticulous, and clearly takes considerable pride in his work. The whole experience, from quotation to finished job, displayed quality and inspired confidence. Fergus recently completed three weeks of painting and decorating our home.He went above and beyond as we had a lot of damage to walls and ceilings etc following last year's storm so it wasn't an easy task! But no problem to Fergus!

Fergus painted our kitchen and two bedrooms and did an excellent professional job. We needed a lot of preparation done on the walls where cracks had appeared and old picture hooks had left holes. He sorted all this out for us and the rooms now look perfect. Highly recommend.

We contacted Pro Painting & Decorating last year to have them paint a couple of bedrooms and were so pleased with the job that we decided to paint the rest of the house. Fergus helped suggest some colours and they've all turned out beautiful. He clearly loves what he does and takes so much pride in his work, every tiny detail is so perfect and smooth. We recently got Pro Painting & Decorating to decorate our sitting room, and paint the hall and kitchen ceilings. Fergus is professional, trustworthy and has an excellent knowledge of colours. We didn't know what colour we wanted to change our sitting room to. It was so dark, Fergus recommend what would go well and there is just a huge transformation. The room is so bright. We will be getting more work done in the future and will be getting Fergus without a doubt.
