We've been using this service for several years now and and have never ever had a missed mistake or correction. They are eagle-eyed, and follow our style guide very closely.

Fast turnaround (usually better than expected), they catch every little thing (and big thing).

The issue at hand does not concern the proofreader. In my view, her performance is satisfactory. I am experiencing difficulty with Eversull, Director of Sales and Marketing. She responds to emails and phone calls.
I had conveyed to her my desire for certain aspects to be clarified. She directed me towards the message box, allowing me to connect with the proofreader and seek necessary clarifications regarding the book, which had undergone proofreading. The editor was exceptionally pleasant she wasted no time explaining each modification and was incredibly prompt in responding to me, taking only two minutes or less. Upon receiving the answers to my inquiries, I received a message from Eversull.

At this point, we've spent almost as much time responding to your questions as we did proofreading your document. I'm afraid that if you aren't happy with our work, perhaps you would be better off to find a service that works with children's books or other fiction. An aspect that I take great satisfaction in is being honest. At precisely 8:01 am, I posed an inquiry which received a response at 9:34 am, taking a few moments for them to reply. I'm not requesting that you instruct me on grammar. Since there is a section for communication between the proofreader and client, I fail to comprehend why it would be troublesome for me to ask a few inquiries that I have. As the website malfunctioned, I required your assistance in placing the order. It perplexes me as to why you displayed a unpleasant attitude when I asked a query. Being a client who is paying for the service, it is reasonable to seek clarification and answers. Additionally, I did not receive a refund. It is possible that it may take a few days for the amount to reflect in my account.
You explicitly directed me to inquire about my query in the designated question section, yet you express displeasure when I proceed to ask my question, which seems contradictory.
What is the purpose of having a question section if asking questions is not permitted.
Although I understand that I may not hold significant value to your company as an individual, receiving respectful treatment is all I desire.

My association has been using Proofread Now for YEARS! We have alot of Position Statements online and other work we have them do. I highly recommend them! Very easy to use the submission page, prices are reasonable. Sometimes I do the longest turnaround but still get the job back in a few hours. Whenever I have to had to call or email with a question, a customer service rep is very quick to respond. Always very nice and polite. If you have any doubts about using them for any work you need proofed, don’t hesitate! Proofread Now is a great company with excellent customer service! I NEVER EVER write reviews, so if I’m writing one, they must be good!
