PSA Academies Reviews 

My 10 year old son is just back from PSA Residential camp in Kilkenny. He is full of stories and excitement from his week away and stories about his many new friends from all parts of the country. He had great fun with the coaches and loved the packed program of activities. We highly recommend PSA and we will be back again!!

My 11 year old son is just back from his first residential camp full of positive stories.He loved all the coaches who were excellent, learnt new rugby skills and made new friends. He had a wonderful first experience of being away from home enjoying all facilities and said the food was really good .Thanks to all involved for all the hard work put in.We look forward to the next one and highly recommend PSA academies .

Both of my sons 11 and 13 said they would love to return. They both thought the training coaches were down to earth, realistic, great craic but most importantly FAIR (vital with kids). The skills and activities they loved with the addition of making new friends from across Ireland. Brilliant.

This I believe was my son’s 4th year attending the PSA camp, he has attended both residential & non residential both excellent experiences, he had attended other rugby camps but they do not compare in his mind to the PSA. I would highly recommend the PSA camp for Boys & Girls as a club youths coach I see the standard of coaching at the PSA is excellent. They are passionate about what they do and it’s shows. Again well done PSA team

Would highly recommend PSA Academy. It was run to a very high standard, with excellent staff. My daughter learned so much & enjoyed every minute of the camp.

This camp is a must for young players who want to develop their rugby skills and learn about player welfare.
My son really enjoyed the coaching and feels his game will improve as a result.
The core rugby values such as respect are very evident throughout.
Communication with PSA was excellent prior and during the course.
I don’t think they could have done anymore in ensuring a Covid safe environment.

I would definitely recommend this camp.

This was my son Rohan’s second year doing the PSA camp. He has grown as a player and a person as a result of his experiences in these camps. The planning and thought that has gone into the design and implementation of this camp is in a league of its own. It is player centred and builds such positive attitudes to being the best that each individual can be. A holistic approach that builds on the players skill set but also their confidence and self esteem. Would not hesitate to recommend this to all parents.

My son (14) did the Castleknock camp in August 2020 and enjoyed every minute of it. It's a challenging programme and he got a lot out of it. There's a keen focus on detailed individual development feedback on core playing skills as well as leadership values around teamwork etc. In addition the online programmes which covered mental health, injury prevention, sports nutrition really encouraged player awareness and ownership of their broader development in a way that was very accessible way for teens. Very impressed - we've booked in again this summer with a growing number of pals coming! Also, hands down the best C-19 safety protocols I've seen at kids sports training over the past 12 months.

My son attended the Dublin camp and he absolutely loved every moment of it. He had great fun throughout all of it while he was learning and try to improve his skills as they were explained to the group.
The testing and feedback given with video analysis on it is incredibly useful.
The webinars also were well targeted for the age group and interesting with very engaging speakers.

As a parent I think the the camp very well organized and planned, and given we are in Covid year I felt the safety of the kids was managed and ensured to a very high standard.

I have no doubts we will be back next year, and I can't recommend this experience more.

Very well planned, organised and executed camp. The testing and the feedback provided were very useful, and afternoon sessions were great to build a common platform between players and parents. Every day Adam was coming back buzzing with excitement, and he always referred to his camp-mates as friends, which highlights the friendly and inclusive atmosphere created. We are definitely coming back next year, and will spread the word among parents involved in the local club as well.

My son had a fantastic week! He really enjoyed it & worked on developing skills. Whilst contact / tackle training obviously couldn't be done due to Covid, the coaches worked very hard to ensure a good variety of skills were worked on.
It was a very hot week & I was really impressed that the coaches took the decision after the first day to amend the times slightly to accommodate this.

Robert learned a lot. For example, he was tested initially and had some issues that he wasn't aware of, and he worked to correct them during the week. Some were quite simple but hadn't been picked up before. It's a very professional, yet friendly, setup and excellent at handling teenagers. We also sat in on the webinars in the evenings, and gained an improved understanding of nutrition, strength and conditioning, injury prevention and wellbeing. It was great value for the week I think. I'd really recommend it.

I had 2 boys attend the camp aged 11 and 13. They thoroughly enjoyed the week. It was fun but they also felt like they were treated like rugby players and the level of intensity and professional focus was just right. They learned a lot about the game and their skill-set improved a lot thanks to excellent coaching. They will definitely be attending another camp in the future.

Great coaching - kept the boys engaged and enthusiastic all week. Fantastic communication both on the lead up to the course and throughout each day. If your child likes rugby, they'll love the PSA courses. I have a tired but happy boy! Thank you so much.

My son (10) absolutely loved the camp. He has already started a list of friends to go next year. The content was fantastic. He would come home and enthusiastically take us through the drills he learnt . I as a parent loved the webinar content esp the focus on health and nutrition. In the past ive had to stress the importance of warm up and cool down....this will not pose a problem anymore. Also from a personal dev point of view i loved how respect was highlighted throughout the content of the course and a few days later, when chatting about something, my son turned and said ' well mom who you hang around with can effect how you behave so you need to make sure thats how you want to be known as' .....this is a message that every parent wants their child to understand. When asked where he learned it from he said it was mentioned at camp! Enough said. We will definitely be attending again and so will his brothers.

Most important factor is that the boys loved it, sounds like they did something different everyday, very professionally run and lots of information to the parents.

We will be back next year!!

My son found it a fun and interesting course mixing with different ages and abilities. Gaining knowledge on various aspects of the game and working on new techniques with experienced coaches. Being challenged to try something different. Company very professional taking into account covid protocols and constant changes in rules/regulations, keeping us as parents regularly updated.

A fantastic week for my 12yr old son with PSA. He loved it so much he wanted to return the following week. PSA academies communication's were excellent, particularly with Covid 19 procedures. The timetable of activities and distance learning was very good. My son feels fired up for the start of the new season as an under 13 player. I would definitely recommend PSA academies to others and be looking to book onto the course again next year. According to my son he wants to go to the one held in Tignes!!😳😆

My 10year Son had an Amazing Fun Week In the Cork Camp . He enjoyed every day and all the aspects of the learning and coaching of rugby . He cant wait to go back next year again. I would highly recommend the PSA Camp. Thanks to All involved .

My two sons took part in the Cork camp - they had a great time and found it very useful. They thouugh that the feedback was constructive and gave them lots to work on ... which is what they wanted out of the course. Communication and organisation from a parents perspective was perfect.
